I just watched the owner Bruce Mattingly remove posters that a mother put up trying to find justice for her murdered daughter rip down her flyers from poles near his business that he does not own. This was heartless, lacked compassion and was cruel as the mother confronted him politely and he was unnecessarily rude and unempathetic. Its ironic that this a family owned business and they would treat their community member this way. I thought you should know that before buying a car here. I like to buy products from companies who share my morals and values and when they are family owned it implies they are about families, apparently not the case. I'd love to see Bruce turn that around and offer to hang up some flyers for her and send a nice donatiom for information leading to the arrest of the ppl who unalived this womans daughter! I financed a car in August of 2025 with no warranty and my transmission went out in January. I had it towed back to them and they gave me a price and an honest opinion about fixing it and told me it wasn't even worth it. Once I agreed to let it go they allowed me to cancel my contract with that vehicle and they put me into a different vehicle with a warranty and no down payment. I bought a car back in October and any quirks that other repair shops have wanted crazy money for, I've been able to come back here and leave the lot in under 5 minutes with the thing fixed. They make sure they sell dependable cars so if you have any issues, it's easily fixed. You can go back for maintenance and they won't come up with a several hundred dollar repair when it's as simple as tightening a bolt--literally happened to me today with a windshield wiper that had been frozen and broken. I'm so relieved to have a dependable "car guy" in Louisville that goes behind my dependable car, which was really important to me when buying car. I didn't feel like I was being sold a car. This was absolutely the best car buying experience I have ever had; by far! Dutch and Bruce were extremely friendly and honest. Their prices are very reasonable to the point where you almost feel bad asking them to lower them.
