Since I do not, the next best thing was finding LA Auto which is Woman owned and Operated to fix my ride! LA Auto was brought to my attention thanks to the Projects feature in the Yelp App. I sent out a request for a job or service and Yelp broadcasted it to businesses to reach out to me concerning the service. I had initially had a different mechanic before LA Auto that was going to do the job, but a price change occurred before the vehicle was in their possession. Decide to nix that mechanic and go back to the drawing board acquiring estimates for the job. By this point, I had already ordered and picked up my parts directly from the dealership so they would match my vehicle. All I needed was the labor to complete the repair. I was really intrigued that there was a Woman owned and operated auto shop in Houston, so I decided to reach back out to the shop about an estimate for labor. My inquiry was Friday afternoon, so I didn't expect to hear back until Monday. Liz, the Owner, however, was in contact with me in and out the entire weekend asking for pictures of the parts to ensure they were correct for the vehicle based on the VIN as well as making sure they didn't need to paint the handles. She gave me a range on the price for the labor, which I could understand because she never saw the vehicle before- only pictures of the damage. We did most of our communication on Monday which offerred a great opportunity for me to get the car fixed that afternoon since she had an opening. I honestly thought I may have to come back another day to get the job completed because EVERY OTHER BODY SHOP I SPOKE TO said I would have to drop the car off just to get an estimate. I did that with one Pearland body shop and received a quote of over a THOUSAND dollars just to fix some handles! They even stated the labor was high because the panels of the car had to be removed. Thanks to Youtube, II knew that was not the case and Liz the owner and my mechanic confirmed my research as she completed the work on the vehicle in less than an hour WITHOUT removing the inside panels. She worked fast and I was even able to see her work from the office which provides a chair or two inside for waiting customers. A/C is blizzard cold inside the waiting area, so bring a jacket. This is not your car dealership waiting room with tvs and refreshments, so bring your own, but Liz worked so fast I didn't need to indulge in either! Really friendly, sincere, and affordable service from Liz at LA Auto. I am so glad to not only have my car repaired (FINALLY, with the exception of one small part that the dealership gave me in error that doesnt affect the main fix) but I am so estatic to support a small business owned and operated by women. I am telling everyone I know about LA Auto if they ever need repairs on their vehicle. This place is a real gem and deserves to shine!

Good morning, I purchased a grey Honda HR-V on 05/01/26. This SUV was returned on 05/19/26 due to concerns you each received in an email dated 05/02/26 (11:32 am). I would like it noted and I did call on 05/19/26 to speak with a Sales Manager regarding the excellent service I received from Robert and Wausaun, this portion of my experience was seamless. After receiving my new white Honda HR-V on 05/19/26 during my drive home the TPMS light came on. I called the Customer Service number and was notified that due to it being after 6 pm service was closed. I arrived at 7:28 am on 05/20/26 and was assisted by Ishmael. I explained to him the aforementioned and was met with the following: 1. He stated that my issue could not be resolved because I did not have an appointment. - I stated that I just wanted the air pressure checked because after I left on 05/19/26 Discount Tire Co was closed and on 05/20/26 they had yet to open as I stated previously I arrived at 7:28. 2. Ishmael also stated that I could leave the car and when Service had an opportunity the car could be checked. - I pointed out that I had to go to work, which he then stated I could receive a courtesy ride share. My position is itinerant meaning I am not stationary and need my car for work. Upon further prodding Ishmael took the SUV to check the PSI. Why this many conversational turns took place with no one in service that needed to be assisted is beyond my understanding. When Ishmael returned he stated that the PSI was low on the front two tires and overinflated on the back two tires. I asked "what was the PSI supposed to be" he proceeds to "mansplain" what PSI is WHEN THAT WAS NOT THE QUESTION ASKED. In lieu of listening to listen he listened to respond. He also stated that the TPMS light would go off after driving, which I understand because this is my 3rd Honda purchase from your location and second issue across 2 different cars with Service. I drove out of my way to ensure the light would turn off, it did not. I watched a YouTube video and recalibrated it myself. I am not employed by Carmax nor do I appreciate having to do someone's job had customer service been his priority this morning, it took a matter of 3 minutes. Again, no one was waiting in the service bay other than myself. Considering that Carmax is facing a challenging time and consumers such as myself still choose to do business with you because of Salesmen such as Robert, Wasuan and notable mention "Peter" who I purchased my first Honda from while in college is beyond me. We were concerned going to a smaller dealership that we would have issues finding financing that didn't cripple us. Not a concern here. If this wasn't enough, Zaki has proven that he has the goods to build a premier dealership as the personal care that he places on cars and customers is apparent from the time you meet. You will likely be taken aback by the way that Zaki balances being personal and professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. Unfortunately we had a situation arise causing us to not be able to purchase from Zaki (completely our fault) and he was more than gracious and understanding. While we didn't get to purchase from Zaki( this time), we will be referring all of our friends and family to King Brothers. I only write reviews that I am utterly compelled to, and after spending weeks going through the car shopping fiasco, meeting many wonderful and terrible people, Zaki was the star that outshined them all. I wish Zaki and King Brothers nothing but success as this is just the type of experience we need in the world. Whether you purchase from King Brother's or not, you can rest assured that this 5 star rating (at this time) is not a fluke.

Knowing absolutely nothing about changing a battery in one of these I asked the person behind the counter if he could help, let's start by saying he was not very friendly, he gave me one of those looks like yeah. I let it go I asked for 2 batteries for my 2023 Chevy Trailblazer key fobs. they were on a rack next to me and he said they are right there on that board which I did not see a part # 2029, after looking for a few seconds he kept saying right next to you right there look. I started to lose my patience because all he would have had to do is walk 2 feet and grab what he knew was there. So I grab the batteries and hand him the key fobs he then says you want me to change the battery? Instead of just grabbing the Key fobs & helping me he looks at me like WTF? How hard would it have been to say "Hey let me help you with that" ALSO No one was in the store the last customer walked out so there was no one at the counter. It was at this point that I take the batteries and toss them back so he can shove them. Piss poor attitude...very poor. Customer service nonexistent. So my first visit to my neighborhood New AutoZone store was a bust. Every time I pass that place in the future, on my way to Walmart I'm going to say that is where I met the biggest A$$ hole who is responsible for me going back to O'Reilly's where I should have gone in the first place. But no I try the new store for the first & last time. BTW went home looked at a you tube video & changed the battery in 30 seconds, you moron!

Writing this review comes from a place of profound frustration and genuine disappointment. If you value your time, your money, and honest business practices, please read this before stepping foot on their lot. We live in the Austin area, and after finding what looked like a great vehicle online, we decided to reach out. Knowing that a trip to Houston is a serious commitment, we were incredibly diligent. We called multiple times to confirm the vehicle's availability. More importantly, we explicitly confirmed--again and again--that the advertised price was exactly what we would be paying, plus standard taxes and state fees. We were assured repeatedly that there would be no surprises. Based on those rock-solid promises, we made the difficult decision to cancel a full day of our scheduled work. Stepping away from the business is not something we take lightly; it means real sacrifices and lost revenue. But we believed their word. Even while making the long drive down to Houston, we called and texted them one last time to ensure everything was still on track. They texted back confirming everything was exactly as expected. Then we arrived. Walking through the doors, the atmosphere immediately felt off--a classic, sleazy sales environment. But the real heartbreak happened when they finally put the paperwork in front of us. In a blatant bait-and-switch, they had tacked on over $3,000 worth of unrequested "elite protection plans" and other phantom accessories. When we pointed out the discrepancy and asked for these forced add-ons to be removed so we could proceed with the agreed-upon price, the salesperson deflected and went to get his manager. We expected an apology and a quick correction. Instead, the manager marched over and, with stunning arrogance and rudeness, flatly told us, "We don't negotiate." There was no negotiation to be had; we were simply asking them to honor the exact price they had guaranteed us just hours prior. We walked out empty-handed. We lost an entire day of our lives, sacrificed a day's income, and burned through a tank of gas, all because this dealership relies on deceptive, sleazy tactics to lure people in. The blatant disregard for our time and the absolute lack of integrity is staggering. Do not make the same mistake we did. Do not trust their advertised prices, and do not trust their word over the phone. Take your hard-earned money to a business that actually respects its customers.
