Well, Tony is gone, and now so am I. Tony retired-ish and is now back on his own (thank goodness). I was willing to give the new account manager a try as I got closer to trade in. But the lack of actual attention and care... Horrid. Pushed something I was open to, but never once opened my current account to see how I was set up and what my payments or anything looked like prior to insisting on needing to do a credit pull to see how much the potential new vehicle would cost. Would've known wouldn't be remotely interested given where I was at. So cool, now a pull on my credit that was entirely unnecessary. Around this time Tony came back and I immediately got out from under D&M. Same account manager had no idea I had gotten rid of the vehicle I had through them over a month prior. I would not recommend ever leasing a vehicle. I least a vehicle what they told me was for four years and then I could trade it in in three years three years went by. I thought I wanted to keep it, but I wanted to lower the note so I guess I re-upped somehow for another now then saying 60 months to lower my 70 bucks. Here I am six years later than $750 a month and they're telling me I still owe 22 months. So that would be paying for a truck that I don't own for eight years. Don't believe everything you hear. Just listen to am radio. The advertisements are throughout the morning. Easy lease, mileage forgiveness, no payments for 60 days. And while this is true, it's not always the case. Don't get me wrong, I love D&M Leading. My entire family has leased and even purchased cars from them. This last one has been nothing less than challenging. First, I drove the car 60k miles far more than originally anticipated. So, I they did not forget the miles. My first payment in 45 days, not 60. That would have been more costly. And then surprise, surprise. I had a flat while driving back home. I moved to a safe location, went to look for the spare and....nothing. They forgot to put one in! And while Heather has been great and very accommodating, I have nothing yet. No spare and no reimbursement which was promised to me. There were complications in between. The system was hijacked, then was the hurricane. In the end however, we have to wait, put up with all sort of excuses. But we are expected to always pay on time otherwise it'll cost you more. I am just very frustrated. Help! read more

They will use every possible fee and addon both at purchase and upon return to fleece customers. Even at the end of the lease it will cost you to return a car in perfect condition and with less mileage than stipulated in the lease agreement. Choosing to re-lease the vehicle will incur even more expense. The lease will always be structured for the consumer to lose ever more money. Don't be fooled. First the positive - within a week of my call the leasing representative found the exact car my wife wanted. He delivered the car, took our trade in away and concluded the transaction in my living room. However, when a week less than two months went by with no license plates and registration sticker, I called for the rep to see what's going on. I found out he left D&M right after my lease and I guess that's why he didn't follow up to thank me for the business. Mike took my call and after this and another call on Friday with no response, today I drove 75 miles from my home to Baytown Hyundai to get another buyer plate. At the dealership, their rep told me that the reason for the delay was that D&M had not paid the dealership for the car they leased to me on February 28, 2023 until last week, April 28, 2023. For obvious reasons, they don't apply for registrations and titles until someone pays them. Two months for D&M to pay for a new car - that's outrageous. I am glad Baytown Hyundai didn't turn in a stolen car report on my newly leased car. This kind of service is way beneath what I expect when leasing a $55,000 car. read more

You will notice that they will almost flatly refuse to put any of their promises in writing. They'll want to do everything verbally so you have nothing to use to call them on their bull crap later. I had called and emailed Ashley on Thursday March 8th, 2018 to explain I was in the market for a new/used vehicle. She was out of the office due to the nasty Texas weather we've been having. I was driving to work Friday morning when she called to ask what was going on. I gave her a brief story about my current car and situation and explained what vehicle I had been looking for and why I thought it would work for my son and me. I have always been tented to lease a car thru them, got to say they have good marketing, when I decided to call they where kind of nice normal service, ask me for basic info and even ask for my S.S. to make a "soft inquiry", after I told them the kind of vehicle I wish to lease, if I ever have to lease a car has to be the best I can get; anyways they told me they'll get back to me in 40min or so, they never did, I call them back that afternoon and the recepcionist told me that the sales man was with another costumer and he'll call me back as soon he finish with the other costumer, well, again they never did; what they actually did was that they perform a HARD INQUIRY in my credit report and not soft like they told me, and for nothing!!. After a couple of months another salesman call me because they have my name on the database, so I explained him what happen and he act very surprised and he promise that if I wish to continue that won't happen with him, so I told him what I want, he say he will call me back with the numbers and guess what?..exactly, still haven't call me back. As a first time leasee, I have been leasing with D & M for a little over 2 years now, 2 months after I got the 2014 Nissan Murano I started commuting to a new job which instead of 2 miles I commute 46 miles from Pearland to the Woodlands. Mind you when I got my car my one request was a back up camera and navigation....it has neither. For the first year I received tickets/warrant notice to pay for my mercedes that I originally traded into D&M, it took me calling the state of Texas as well as the front desk at D&M multiple times (3) to get this cleared up and the name switched off of the car as the tickets were issued after I had traded the car in and not in this city. A year after I got the car I tried emailing Tony as I wanted to know the options to get into a Sedan instead of an SUV due to my commute and the fact that I just don't love my car. I emailed him March 2015 and never heard back, emailed again April 2015 CCing the front desk to D&M. Received a short email back stating he had tried to call me, I called him back and let him know what was going on. Never heard anything else, I emailed him in May 2015 as I found out my work does an employee assistance program with them and thought this may help with trading in my vehicle. I received an email just stating he was in a meeting and woulld get back to me early part of the next day. I never heard anything back, I just dropped it I was frustrated with continually trying to push communication. August 2015 I was hit in an accident and immediately emailed him to let him know (since it states in the lease to contact immediately), communication was fine during this time even when I needed to pick up the check that the insurance sent to D&M as it is a lease. I just kind of gave up after the accident that clearly I am 'stuck' in my car for current time. I figured once i hit 2 years I would get a call since when I signed the lease I was told that they call to check and get updates on how the car is treating me every year and at the 2 year mark we will look at 'swapping you out'. I have NEVER received a call like that, I pay for ALL maintanence on my car and have even bought a set of new tires. I was under the impression that is the great thing about a lease is not having to worry about the small maintanence items. Two of my best friends also lease through D&M and have NEVER had issues and one of them is on her 2nd car in the same amount of time I am, which the both have told me all maintanence is covered and they just take it to the dealership and have no issues (maybe because they have cadillacs?). I was hoping I would be able to switch my car out into something a little more economical gas wise and something I liked more. Most recently I emailed 3/28/2016 as I recently got married and inquired about my name change on the lease or what documents I need to send over. Tony emailed me back 15 minutes later letting me know he would get back to me as he hasn't had that question before. I still haven't heard anything. My fear is now I am upside down on the lease since my commute is so far and my car is not valued at what my lease it as. I am just overall frustrated with the communication and lack there of, I do like Tony as he has been very nice when we have met in person I would just like my original inquiry and question to be anwsered on the status of my lease and what it will take to trade it in even if its doesn't happen right away I just want to know how long I am looking at to not be upside down. read more

Lunch rolls around and no phone call that day. I call him him the next day around 10 am and he states, " I have been delivering vehicles the past two days. Let me get some things together and I will call you." He still has not called me back. It is perfectly fine if a company does not want my business but at least be upfront and tell me. Don't avoid me.
