After you make your selection and make your payment - BAM!... no reservation is made. I finally got an email response after a couple of hours that they were contacting the lifeguard to see if he was available. Guess what?... NO - not available. I got three more emails during they day about other lifeguards that they were checking in with. After that...radio silence, not a peep. Three emails and a phone call today... Guess What - no response! All I want is my money back, but of course when you call their toll-free number.... you guessed it - voice mail because there is nobody available to take my call. I wonder why that is? Zero stars for you AquaMobile ! UPDATE - I did get a call back to let me know that no lifeguards could be located in my area. They promised to issue a refund. This could have been completely avoided if they had just let me know up front that they are a "lifeguard search service" and don't actually have lifeguards available. I would have gone elsewhere.

I've had personal training with Matt about once a week/once every 2 weeks for a few years when he used to live in Orange County. The only reason why I stopped was due to scheduling when I was planning my wedding, and then I just never picked up traditional working out again after that. Let me just say, Matt is the real deal, especially if you're looking into getting into shape when you don't have much knowledge about fitness at all. He is such a good trainer and will break down everything and make sure you're doing all of the exercises well to target the muscles that each exercise is targeting. Matt was one of the trainers that my ROLFer, Jennifer Soon, referred me to. After looking into each one, for some reason, I gravitated towards reaching out to Matt. I am SOO glad I did. He started me off with exercises to get my core strength, which is actually the basis of everything. Every time I talk about the correct way of doing a certain exercise, or a certain exercise that would target a certain area that my husband would bring up, I always start the sentence with "Matt had me do...", because he was just that good that his exercises are still engrained in me after all of these years! At the time I was training with Matt, he was working in conjunction with my ROLFer so that he can target certain areas that she felt that I needed to work on to fix my posture. That dual-teamwork helped me out with my posture, as well as my strength and overall physique. I'm so thankful to have had the chance to train with Matt. One day I will get back into working out again using his routines that he wrote down for me, The one thing I regret not doing while he was still here in Orange County was to take swimming lessons with him, since I don't know how to swim, and that would be a beneficial skill to learn. terrible. we've struggled with them essentially since…read moreenrollment. wasn't so bad when she was with ms naomi- we liked her. our daughter liked her- learned a lot. she didn't inundate with multi step directions for a 2yr old and didn't spend 10 minutes at the beginning of each 30 minute class explaining the lessons for the day. we were switched to a class for older kids without notice- which was frustrating and had us scrambling to accommodate with schedules last minute. but since the switch- instructor ms kelly- let me say... terrible. she spends at least 10 minutes at the beginning of each class explaining the goals of the day to 2-5-3yr olds when the class is only 30 minutes long. whether or not your child is potty trained- you're required to wear some special diaper they sell to prevent accidents. again- doesn't matter if the kid is potty trained or not. kelly is passive aggressive in providing instruction. doesn't meet the child where they're at with comfort in water. often tries to take the child from you to demonstrate (our kid hated this and would adamantly say no) to which point i had to also tell kelly no because she was persistent. overall kelly is your classic 'mean girl' but in an adult body. nitro also states no bandaids, whether or not a wound is present, because they get stuck in the pool filters- which is what i assumed filters are for.. So all that to say- no sense in paying $120+/mo for months and months so your child can be no more comfortable in the water than if you guys did it on your own at home. do not recommend.

I can't say enough good things about T3. Where do I even begin? T3 is basically a triathlon…read moretraining group, but it is so much more than that. They are hard core about getting you to a level you never knew existed, yet fun loving and very team spirited at the same time. The coaches are awesome and I feel like I have gained so much from training with them. If you are just a beginner at triathlons or an experienced triathlete, this is a group that embraces people of all levels and goals. There are people of all ages and ranges that train for the sprint, olympic, half ironman, and ironman distances. I started back in April of 2008, with their swim clinic. Yea, I could swim..maybe doggie paddle swim a couple 50 meters or so, but I REALLY didn't know HOW to swim. They taught me how to do it efficiently, with proper technique. 1 year ago I couldn't swim one length of Barton Springs without freaking out or hyperventilating. Swimming was the only thing keeping me from competing in a triathlon...but here I am now training for a half ironman. Yes I knew how to run..yes I had a bike, but really I didn't know how to put all the pieces together. With them, you have coaches to help you, teammates to push you along the way and give you advice, and practices that will kick your ass. Another great thing about the group is that they have a very flexible training schedule that can work for anyone and everyone. They have swim practices everyday (morning, lunchtime, and night), they have spin class 3 times a week at different times, they have track and run practice 3 times a week as well. On weekends there are group long rides and runs. You don't have to be a triathlete to join, many people train in all 3 sports, 2 sports or even just 1 pf the sports. The skies the limit with flexibility. If you are looking for a triathlon group to train with, this is IT. I don't mean to sound like this is some marketing ploy, because it's not. This is the real deal, and I am willing to put the smack down on anyone that chooses to challenge this review, because T3 is absolutely, positively THE shit.

Out of the nine kids in the class, the only ones successfully able to go across the pool and get themselves out of the water, were two kids, ages 6 and up. None of the other kids could get from the point of entry in the water, to the stairs on their own. In addition, about 25% of the class was still crying on day 5. I don't believe it is success if 80% are being assisted in the water on day 5, and 40% of the class is still screaming. My child included. After being tossed into the pool and submerged under water over and over, it did not "click" for my children. While this class is sold as teaching your kid to survive, and getting themselves out of the pool, there were zero times my two children were able to do so without the teacher's help. While her website states, "some children may need more than one session due to motor skill development," i don't think the majority of our class's inability to grasp this skill was due to their motor skill development. I write this review to encourage parents to think of their child's temperament and previous water experience before signing up. They will be thrown into the water, by you, over and over, and they will be forced to be submerged by the teacher. And they will scream. My children did not take kindly to this. I had to ask my husband to take off work on the second day to assist me in maintaining my sanity in the class. Keeping a positive persona to my children, while enduring screaming all around, while also, being responsible for ensuring my kids exited the pool, was not a one woman job. This is NOT a skills class. The fundamentals of kicking and holding your breath are not covered. It was after my two year old inhaled so much water over and over that she belched repeatedly to the point of almost vomiting, that I realized I needed to do the instruction myself. Maybe that was on me, I'll take that. It was also after Ms. Cathy repeatedly yelled "kick" at the kids and no one did, that I realized, oh I have to teach my kids that on my own. Happy to do so. But why did I pay $450 to realize I had to do all the basics in order for this class to "work?" Parents, know what you're getting into. If your child has little experience swimming, and all they've ever done is play in the shallow end of a pool, it will behoove your sanity to work on kicking and breathing A LOT before doing this class.

This was especially frustrating for us because our child had a experience with an instructor elsewhere and we wanted someone consistent, and in fact were told we were being placed with someone more experienced. That's not what happened. Our kid actually swims worse now than when she started. Also, the shower and changing area is totally open but in a narrow corridor, there aren't really enough showers during peak times, and it's just really chaotic.
