Came here on Christmas Eve after dinner with my girls for a refreshing drink to top the night. Ordered a Earl Gray Milk Tea, 50% sweet with light ice, and a little lavender flavor. Drink comes- looked nothing like Earl Gray Milk Tea. Looked like a passion fruit drink. I brought it back into the shop to tell them I think the order is wrong. Drink was unopened, but can definitely tell there was no "milk" component to the drink. The lady behind the counter looked flustered. Opened the drink. Poured 2/3 of the drink out, threw in a huge spoonful of powder and a enormous amount of ice into the cup. Tried to reseal the cup with the original cup, but it didn't seal. So she just poured the contents into a new cup and resealed. A huge cup of ice, 1/3 milk tea and a huge spoonful of powder. I was dissatisfied with my drink. Brought it back into the store, unopened/ unpunctured/ untouched. Didn't even try the drink. At this point I was over it. Customer service was shitty, and my drink was all messed up. I asked for a refund. The lady behind the counter said "no refund! I remade your drink!" She yelled. What kind of person yells at the customer? My friends sensed something was wrong and came in to see what was going on. Long story short, I was appalled by the customer service that was provided. The cashier (boy) that was at the store was very nice, polite, and respectful. He helped to mitigate the situation. All the while, the lady was shoving him aside, blaming me (the customer) for making the wrong order, blaming him (the cashier) for ringing up the wrong order, but no fault was at herself for making the wrong drink. I've been a long time customer here, I used to work at AlohaCare and would visit frequently during my lunch breaks for a afternoon pick me up. My boyfriend was craving honeydew boba tea for some odd reason and since this place was on our way home, we decided to stop in. I was never a boba fan. The thought of slurping down sweet tea thru a big straw and accidentally hitting my tonsil with a boba ball wasn't my idea of an afternoon snack... but, I gave in for some boba fun. Or, you can park at the mall and walk across Piikoi Street. LOCATION: They are located on Ewa side of Piikoi Street just below Kapiolani Blvd and before Kona Street. SERVICE: On point. I believe they do delivery. They definitely do phone orders and pick up. Due to Covid, social distancing is enforced. Masks are required. I don't recall seeing sitting areas set up inside. It was a quick in and out visit. BOBA TEA: We ordered honeydew boba..... did you know it's naturally sweetened so they don't add sugar to this one? A big plus because I'm not a sugary sweet fan. I enjoyed the boba. Luckily my tonsils didn't have to dodge any balls this time. Way better! I came back as promised to give them a chance to redeem themselves and they did just that! First off I pulled up and just so happened to luck out with an open metered stall right in front. The milk tea gods were smiling down on me that day. I was pleasantly surprised and totally happy to see 4-5 employees working this Saturday afternoon. We walked in and the atmosphere felt upbeat and cheery unlike the last time we were pleasantly greeted by a friendly local girl working the register. Ordering was seamless and there was no 15 minute wait! Since we were being treated by the owner to a few freebies I decided to try something new and have found a new fav...GT Kit Kat frappe! L.O.V.E! So I am happy to say that I will be back the next time I am in the Piikoi area for my new favorite drink. We decided to get some bubble tea on the way home and found this place on Piikoi. At night, there are available stalls in front of the store, which make it convenient to pop in and out. There is no seating, so it is strictly takeout. The design of the store is pretty cool, and the menu for teas is extensive. They also allow you to determine the level of sweetness you desire. It took us awhile to absorb the menu, but we were both highly satisfied with our drinks. I had the brown sugar with 50% sweetness and my daughter went with the 75%. The store is open pretty late, so it was nice to get something on the way home after shopping at Ala Moana. read more

They brew the tea fresh to order, and make sure they get your order right. Yippie! They have the 5star reward system where you plug in your number instead of their old stamp system. This is much better for me because I'm very talented at losing things. They made one of my orders wrong, and when I pointed it out to the boys they quickly fixed it. Service: 5 stars because the guy that was helping us was really nice and offered his suggestions when I asked. He gave helpful explanations for my questions, and our drinks came out quickly. Parking: 2 stars. Barely any street parking, and there's only a paid lot in the back. You could park across the street at Ala Moana, but you also risk getting in trouble. I discovered the company in Uber eats. There are lots of stores like them but I chose to order with Teapreso Piikoi because the delivery is only $1.49 compared to others. What I like most is you have an option to select the type of milk for you smoothie or milk tea. I am lactose intolerant and I get to chose coconut milk. I love their HK milk tea. I have tried their cheesecake and macaroons too and it was so good. In regards to their service, they got my order mixed up last time. I called and spoke with the owner,. Teapresso is a fantastic place to come to for boba. They are located on Piikoi near Ichiriki. The first time I visited, I wasn't sure what to order. They staff happily made recommendations. There have samples of the day off to the side on the counter. The samples of the day are in pitchers where you pour your own. I normally get the milk tea with small boba. You can order your drink with small, large, or mix boba. There are ample seating within and depending when you come, it may be crowded. They are free board games to play and free popcorn for you to enjoy while at Teapresso. Parking is in the rear and is free till 6pm. After 6pm you pay $1/hour. There is metered street parking in front. I have yet to be lucky to score one of these spots. Others have recommended to park in the lot where Playless and Nijiya Market is, but I would advise against that. I like coming to this location because it is near the mall. Initial plans for the night was to eat dinner next door at Ichiriki but the wait was 2 hours so we decided to pop in here to get a drink to pass the time. The vibe in here is neat it has almost an under the sea theme and the jamz they were playing got the adrenaline pumping! I got a Crème Brulee Black Sugar Milk Tea and little did I know it was a whole concoction. I thought it would be just a simple drink but it came served open cover with a spoon. Not quite sure what the topping was but the brulee part was good and the rest of the drink made it feel like I was drinking a Crème brulee. I went in to get a few drinks while I wait to pick up food, and there was one guy working. There was a lady waiting for her drink/s and she left with them after about a minute or two after I entered. After I ordered, a man walks in to pick up 4 drinks for DoorDash or Uber eats or something. But the drinks weren't done. You would not believe how slow this worker was. Sure he's by himself, but it was far from busy. While I was waiting, I was observing since I was waiting a while. He moved with no sense of urgency and slowly made the drinks. The man who came to pick up the order, waited about 5-10 min. And I would assume he came at the time the app told him the drinks should be done. Every other time I've come to this location, the workers have moved fairly quickly, especially when they were busy. But this worker, I don't know if he's new, is not a good investment. I ordered 3 drinks, a hibiscus blend tea, a teapresso milk tea, and a honeydew slush. All fairly simple and quick drinks to make, yet the wait was significantly longer than it should've been. The drinks were decently good. The hibiscus tea leaves that gritty feeling on your teeth, but it tastes good. I got it extra sweet because I don't like the bitter taste. The teapresso milk tea is kind of weird for a classic milk tea. I'm not quite sure how to explain it, but my sister would describe it as tasting like perfume. The large boba I got as a topping for it, was good though. All in all, drinks are decently good and fairly consistent in visits. However, go to a different location. The one by Walmart has better service and quality of drinks made might be a bit better. read more

10/10 best boba shop on the island! There are multiple shops scattered on the island so it was nice to pop into another location. My favorite is the Jasmine Milk Tea and the Oolong Milk Tea. The boba is also really good. It's sweet and chewy unlike other shops that overcook the boba or undercook it. The workers are super nice and patient. After my previous review, the owner reached out to me and expressed that he was sorry that I wasn't fully satisfied with my beverage. First off, this hasn't ever happened to me on yelp before. I give him credit for reading the reviews and trying to make the best experience possible for each customer. He explained that at Teapresso, each cup is brewed individually once the order is placed. They also don't use powder but instead use fresh fruit extracts or non-gmo gluten free syrup and so that was probably why my drink tasted different. This time I went with their Teapresso milk tea with small boba, as basic as you can get. This was probably one of the better milk teas I've had. You could tell that the tea was very fresh. I honestly wasn't too impressed with the boba from here. I thought it was a little mushy, although my sister liked it. I also thought the boba to tea ratio was a little off, but maybe I should have just ordered double bubbles. I did like that they had non dairy milk options. Today is my birthday, so I decided to treat myself to milk tea. But sad to say, it was a disappointment. I placed an online order to be picked up at 12:15. I got there early, at 12:00, expecting to wait a little. But she immediately brought my order from the back, so I don't know how long it was sitting there before I got there. The lychee slush was not slush anymore, it's was lychee water. I also specified on the order that I didn't want ice in the milk teas. What I usually buy here is their lava flow smoothie, they always put the right amount pineapple, coconut, and strawberry inside which always leaves me up and hyper throughout my work shift (which is good because I'm always a sleepy person haha). I usually go to the location near target, but I ended up at this location for the second time. Both times were bad experiences. The first time I came I was told they closed at 1030pm even though online it said midnight. They continued serving others but turned us away. The door wasn't even locked and we came later this time and got service so that felt like a lie. This time they served us and we ordered brown sugar matcha milk teas. I tried to take a good pic, but they did not mix the matcha.... It was still very gritty. And there was no brown sugar syrup... the boba pearls tasted like soap and or expired. I was so disappointed. The other night me and my friends wanted to get boba at night but the places we usually go to were all closed so we ended up going to teapresso! I think a lot of shops close early due to covid so I'm thankful that teapresso was open! We don't usually go to teapresso so I wasn't sure what I wanted. But the cashier actually recommended for me to get the taro milk tea and it was really good! My friend got the almond milk tea and she said it became one of her favorites! We were at the library book sale nearby and after we were done book shopping we were craving for bobba tea and this place popped up as the closest tea place in the area. We lucked out with street parking in the front of the shop on a Sunday afternoon. The servers were very friendly and helpful and answered our questions. We asked what were the popular drinks and she mentioned the avocado smoothie so we both went with that suggestion. The establishment is small but cozy. There is a small popcorn machine to make complimentary popcorn and a selection of card and board games to use while enjoying your drink. Our avocado smoothies were tasty and definitely hit the spot for a very filling summer drink. We will definitely return to try another new drink. BOBA TEA CRAZE!!!!!!!!!! You need to get some :) When I walked in, the staff welcomed me with smiles and hellos. They gave me time to look at the menu and figure what I wanted to order. The menu was overwhelming at first, but the Vietnamese coffee caught my eye as I looked at their menu. Caffeine addiction ;) The male worker mentioned to me that the Vietnamese coffee is strong. So I added small boba as my extra and asked to make the coffee slightly sweetened. I got to control my sugar hives :) The worker gave me their stamp card and added one stamp. The service was fast. I waited a few minutes and the female worker brought my drink to me while I waited on the bar stool. That is excellent service for me. She even told me to shake it before I start sipping away. I was surprised by the drink size, bigger than the cup size at other boba shops. What a strong coffee aroma and lil sweetness as I took my first sip. But with the boba added, it tasted strange together. I don't regret my drink choice but I probably would not order it with boba again. Next time i will pick another item or ask the staff about their popular drinks before I order. The coffee gave me energy to walk up and down Ala Moana Center. Even now as I write this review I still awake. The shop got plenty of table seating. Bar stools are great for those customers who are waiting to pick up their drink orders or just chilling while sipping their drinks. Plus you won't need to be bothered by others who are looking for extra chairs. The parking is very limited. So I walked from Ala Moana Center to the shop to get my exercise and my 6,000 steps a day. I asked for 50 percent sweetness and it was just right! My friend got the Blue Hawaiian Lemonade, and because it looked so good, I went back for one AND a Ginger Lemonade since it sounded refreshing! Yes and yes! This second shop is located diagonally across from Ala Moana Shopping Center. (Original shop is in downtown Honolulu.) There is metered street parking or park in the paid lot in the back. It's FREE between 8am - 6pm on M-F for 75 minutes. After 6pm and on weekends, it's $1 per hour. Inside, it's clean, bright, and spacious! You may see students on their laptops or playing board games which are provided for customers' enjoyment! Just order at the counter, have a seat, and your name will be called when your order is ready. Service is friendly and helpful which comes in handy when you're faced with the large menu and so many options! Next time, I want to have a Watermelon Smoothie or a Mango Slush!
