This is my go- to boba place. Recently, I've been trying new drinks as I drink tea every day so I decided to try different flavors and combinations. I really love how you don't need to say your size of drink since it will come in the same size and price (for the depending on which boba drinks). I come here 90% of the time when I have an appointment at Inspire Nail Salon. Their teas are good I generally get the classic milk tea with boba with regular sweetness. Compared to other milk tea spots in the area, I'd say they win at ambiance. I like the decorations and if you have time to sip and drink, they offer a variety of board games to try out. It also seems like a decent spot to study. However, tea-wise, they seem to give more ice than I'd prefer. Being in my 3rd trimester of pregnancy, this momma has very specific cravings. One being a Dole Pineapple Whip! Found out via Yelp that Teapresso in Kapolei serves it. Called them on a Tuesday to verify if it was true and they said yes but that it is only served on Thursdays to Sundays. I was literally jumping for joy since it's just down the street from my house. I couldn't wait!! So on Thursday, my family and I walked in at 7:30pm to order the Dole Whip. The cashiers said they literally just turned it off cause it takes a while to defrost. Are you serious!?! Mind you, there are no signs on the menu stating that it's only served till 7pm. It would've been helpful if the person over the phone disclosed that information. We would've came straight after eating dinner if that was the case. My heart sank! My husband was upset for me since he knew I was looking forward to eating the Dole Whip. Very chill spot, been here 3 4 times since the date above and I have gotten good service each time. They sell Dole Whip, so that is a big win. I don't need to head to the middle of the island for legit Pineapple Ice Cream. Plus I get to chose between soo many types of milk tea, tea, smoothies, frappe, slush, organic lemonade & coffee. I placed a phone order for two Teapresso milk tea with large boba and coffee jelly, one 50% sweet and the other 75% sweet and my mom picked it up. When she got to my house I realized one was made 150% sweet which was wayyy too sweet for me. I called them back and told them and the person on the phone I talked to was very nice about it and willing to make it again. I asked if I can pick it up later that day and it was not a problem. I love Teapressos drinks because they make it when you order it and are willing to remake it if you aren't satisfied. Last week my bf, and my family came to Hawaii to visit for the first! Upon my boba craving I had, I searched up in the area for some Local Bubble Tea, just to see if it's comparable to any back home in California. I have to say Teapresso Bar is the best thing I ever had! Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly with smiles and a few samples of the day! Their house signature Teapresso Milk was delicious! However, I ordered their most famous Blue Hawaiian Organic Lemonade (pineapples, coconut, and blue curaçao). The owner also hooked us up with an All Organic Butterfly Blue Pea Tea to top it off! It was a blue tea that turned purple in our lemonade! We also ordered their Green Tea Kit Kat Frappe with ice cream! It tasted exactly like the matcha green tea kit kat candy bars! I absolutely love that they are all organic, don't use any powder, and have fresh fruit smoothies! Everything was so good my bf came back and got their Dole Whip with a few pieces of boba, lol. Cute and cozy tea shop. My daughter is a fan and wanted me to try it. I am not one for sweet drinks but thought I'd humor her and try it out. The decor is fun and makes me just want to hang out. I tried the thai milk tea and asked for the sweetness to be low- they did it :) and it was good. The staff are friendly and prices are descent. This is my first time at this tea bar. I've been wanting to try it out for a while. As an avid tea drinker I am particular about where I order my tea from. As I walked in, it reminded me of a trendy cool lounge spot. Definitely a place to chill and read a book or work on my laptop. It was spacious and had cute decor. They have a large menu with different types of teas and add ins. They make their tea fresh out of an espresso machine just instead of espresso they insert real tea leaves and brew it in the machine. I must say it is very clever! I ordered the jasmine milk tea with honey, 25% sweet and added in the strawberry heart jelly. The jasmine tea tasted really good, although I couldn't really taste the honey. The heart shaped strawberry jellies were super cute and it was like having a pop of fresh strawberries in your mouth. What I really love about this place is that they offer free tea samples and showcase their add in's so you can see exactly what you are putting into your tea. They even have the fresh teas lined up so you can smell them. Super cute place! The only negative thing is that I had to wait sometime to get my drinks. I noticed that someone who ordered after me received her drink first. But maybe they were having to brew the tea a little longer. My family is boba obsessed so of course we had to try this new location. Nice clean place with tables and window seating. They have a popcorn machine that you can load with kernels to pop fresh popcorn. They have butter and salt to flavor the popcorn. They also have board games to enjoy. One big plus for me-- they have a bathroom! It's behind the curtains and down the hall. It was kept pretty clean too. Ok now to the drinks. We got the regular milk tea, honeydew milk tea and lychee dew (which is a lychee/honeydew combo). My little one didn't like the melon jello that came in the honeydew milk tea. So just like their sign says...they remade a new one for her. The lychee dew smoothie was refreshing. The regular milk tea was the typical. Overall it's a nice place and the workers were nice too. No place is completely perfect, sometimes they get the order a little wrong... but I only mention this to say that it would take a grotesque catastrophe to stop me from coming here. The whole 'brewed to order' thing results in a drink that is clean, bright, and potent with flavors that are authentic to the essence of each tea. Teaspresso has THE best Thai Tea in this galaxy: spiced, fragrant tea that is tempered with a thick but appropriate amount of cream. My current favorites are the Earl Grey Milk Tea, the Green Tea Thai Tea (think Thai Tea but with Matcha instead! For those who want the Thai Tea experience but less indulgent and lighter) and the Almond Milk Tea. I am unabashed in my obsession with Teaspresso's sea foam, a frothy, topping that is light in texture but stays true to its whipped cream origins. Thuy lets me get it on EVERYTHING. Last but not least, the people who work here are always friendly and eager to give you a good drink. My only warning about this place is that it will ruin other boba places for you; I went to my former favorite boba place (Mr. Tea) and I couldn't even finish the drink. Boba is awesome here but past few times i came for the Vietnamese coffee its been horrible. First time i ordered it was so good nice and strong and the coffee wasn't bitter. Past 3 times i came its been so bitter to the point its not even drinkable it leaves a nasty bitter taste. Very upsetting spending $6 for a coffee and you cant even drink it . Hopefully they start brewing it better or they start having times for the brew to be expired or something. This one taste extremely horrible. This is my favorite location. The workers who work at this location are very friendly and helpful. Thuy is the owner of the store and she always makes sure you get the right taste of your drink. They also put out samples every day so you can try them first before buying the drinks. Every time I come here I have no complaints. They have a large selection of drinks to choose from including organic lemonade, fresh fruit smoothies, fresh brew coffee and milk tea, and I highly recommend the Honeydew Milk tea and the Green Tea Kit Kat Frappe with the coffee jelly. The last time I came, the owners let me sample their newest drink that is coming soon, Brown Sugar Milk, I believe. It was really good! Been going to Teapresso for a while and nowhere else seems to compare in quality. Every drink I've gotten feels fresh and not so heavy, which I love. I like to get the matcha latte milk tea as a pick me up but the past (more than a few) months I feel like the service has really been lacking. Which is strange to me because their service used to be great. I have two young kids and sometimes it's too much to take them out of the car to get a drink, so I really relied on phone ordering where I could just run in and pick the drink up rather than having to wait for it to be made. Now, they don't seem to answer their phone. Soo I was thinking, maybe they're just super busy? Well the last two times it tried calling, I went and there was no one else there...the phone was actually ringing, but no one was answering despite there being 3 workers (that I could see). Although they have awesome drinks, customer service and convenience is really important to me soo sadly, I haven't been coming here much. read more

December 22nd 2019......I'm impressed. I walked in saw the menu, knew what I want but I saw these metal straws for a dollar. I picked two up, cashier offered to washed them. Then I saw some samples! I tried the Strawberry Jelly and Coffee Jelly. The cashier(cute) gave me some samples. Samples were pretty good. Before I know it my drinks are ready. I grab washed metal straws. I proceed to poke my Thai Tea. Take a sip....tastes buds are happy which make my brain happy and the bobas balls are not hard in the middle some of these places you go to have hard centered Boba..which is bad juju....it's an akward location for a place like this, but a hidden gem in Waipahu. Also I wonder if I bring in my own cup will that be acceptable? Like a 64oz... *Note to Store Manager* Might I suggest Brown Sugar boba balls?
