Bright and spacious with abundant tables, soothing, instrumental music played at low volume and accessible plugs makes this an excellent place for work and study. While there often are students being dropped off for group projects, it has never been loud inside. As a mom of non-driving teens, I especially appreciate that this establishment is located on the side of a busy strip mall with many parking spots directly outside the entrance, so very safe for pick up and drop off. I was debating where to go and heard of a place close by Teapresso Bar Walking in, I was probably the 2nd person in the shop besides one person on their laptop. But the atmosphere is nice, very nice and bright. Definitely really calming. I was not very sure what to get but was suggested by one of the baristas for the Strawberry passion tea and a second drink the Hong Kong Milk Tea with tiny boba. I enjoyed them both. Very refreshing and light in flavor that definitely hit the spot on a hot day. Overall very nice visit and the staff are nice as well. They do have WiFi available and the seating is well spread out. I needed a post-dinner sweet treat so we stopped at Teaspresso Bar since it was nearby. First things first, the menu is huge! They have a variety of teas, syrups and milks to choose from. I ordered a lavender jasmine milk tea (75% sugar, less ice) with boba and it was close to $7. Expensive but the norm for boba these days. I also noticed that they have a big fancy machine that brews the teas fresh to order!! I haven't seen a boba store that brews the tea on the spot since I visited Austin so that was a plus for me. The store is also very spacious and would be a great study or hangout spot with friends. As for the service, the worker was nice but seemed tired. I used to be a fan of Teapresso when I visited one of their original locations near the Heights, so I was excited to find a new branch tucked away in Sugarland while driving by. The vibe of the place is exactly as I remembered, young and trendy, but the pricing and quality of the drinks makes me seriously reconsider another visit in the future. I ordered a fruity red lychee drink with lychee jelly, and I was charged $7, which is even more expensive than a Starbucks refresher. The drink was highly recommended by the staff as a signature at Teapresso, and so I held some expectations for it, and it unfortunately fell short of that expectation. As I reviewed the menu for the other drinks, there were a few that still caught my eye, but no item on the menu has price clearly marked, which might be a marketing tactic to eliminate bias when picking selections, but I feel knowing an estimate is still helpful instead of being shocked at checkout. Came here the other day because I haven't had Boba in a while and thought I would try something new. I've been here before in the past, but this was my first time in a few years, the inside still looks the same but they definitely had more drink options this time. I tried the Hapa Haole milk tea which I believe is a green tea base with white chocolate. I did not make any adjustments to the ice or sugar and found that the drink was the perfect sweetness. The service was great even with only one worker at the time my drink came out at a reasonable time. If you are looking for a good place to study this is the spot! I ordered a Taro Milk Tea with mixed boba but it looks to be their taro latte. I had a takeout order which was already bagged so I unfortunately didn't see that it was incorrect. It's been a while since I've been to Teapresso Bar so I stopped by one day on a whim because it was on the way home. There are quite a few boba tea options now in SugarLand area, but this place has been here for a while and has quite a comprehensive menu of tea and coffee. There's no doubt that the interior is beautiful and this is one of the most peaceful tea house anywhere. The only issue I have is that the drinks are not always consistent and sometimes can be a little too syrupy. During this visit I ordered the Pandan Coconut Milk Tea, which I've never tried anywhere else before. The concept sounds amazing for a coconut lover such as myself and I love the fragrant aroma that pandan brings to any dish or drink. Although I had no expectations, this drink was unfortunately a huge disappointment and was far from panda or coconut. Neither flavor was prominent and the tea tasted like watered down milk tea. Straight from the sandy beaches of Hawaii, this tapioca hot spot is making its way through the City of Boba (aka Huston). With its second location in Houston (first one is in the Heights), Teapresso Bar is here to stay. I've been twice now and have ordered the Passion Orange Guava (must get) and the Raspberry Lemon, both with 25% sugars. The passion orange guava was light and refreshing, you a perfectly subtle fruity taste. The Raspberry Lemon tasted slightly watered down, but I did order it with less sugar so I'm sure that affected it immensely. The boba itself has the perfect soft and chewy texture, with a slight hint of sweetness. The coolest thing about this place though? They have matcha boba! But there's a catch - it's more of a jelly than a boba and the matcha flavor is super subtle, but it's really refreshing and a nice healthier alternative to the boba! The customer service here is impeccable. They happily took time to answer all our questions and let us sample the matcha boba. Two of our boba drinkers were slightly unsatisfied with their drink (because again, 25% sugar so both tasted a bit watered down), but the employees were quick to make them new drinks without any hesitation! There's a new boba sheriff in Sugar Land folks and their customer service is on point. Our group of four stopped in over the weekend and they were giving out scratch offs for free swag because of their grand opening. Swag included free drinks, 50% off, free metal straws, free mochi ice cream, etc. That alone made me enjoy my experience. They also had samples to try. There were two flavors that day, a teapresso drink and a fruit tea flavored drink. Both delicious. The menu is impressive but I think their sinkers are even more impressive. They had boba, matcha jelly, mango jelly, crystal boba, lychee jelly, and so forth. They offer customized sweetness levels and I am usuallu one that opts for 0-25% due to personal tastes. However, I definitely recommend going at least 50% in the sugar department. Anything less leaves the drink a little lacking in flavor. This happened to me and I asked them about adding a but more syrup and they were super accommodating. My friend ended up feeling the same way and they offered to make a completely new drink! That was really sweet (wink wink) of them. Overall, very spacious interior, good place to hang out or study, quality drinks, and great staff. This location is a bit more tucked in and hard to to notice from highway 6 (they are next to Papa John's) and I only found it because I frequent that shopping center a lot. Perhaps a few balloons or signs would be helpful to attract more customers. This place deserves it! read more

I love Teapresso and maybe I'm slightly bias because I like the Heights location more, but my parents live in SL so I come visit weekly. We always order Teapresso milk tea with boba and wintermelon green tea half sweet with boba. If not weekly then biweekly and today is when I've had it with this crew that messed up my order TWICE. When the girl took my order she asked with milk or no milk (for the wintermelon green tea) and I replied "no milk just tea". When the other girl made the drink, it came out as wintermelon milk tea.. then she remade it, and it came as wintermelon black tea. This order took more than 10 minutes. Super cute interior with a lot of open space, natural light, and bright colors. It's a very refreshing place to be in. Their menu options are limitless; I was pretty overwhelmed by the amount of choices they had! It definitely isn't your typical boba store menu. I went with the pandan coconut tea at half sugar. I thought the drink itself was pretty tasty, but I didn't get much of the pandan flavor as it was overwhelmed by the coconut creamer. I also got it with the taro crystal boba -- I had never had crystal boba before and was curious as they told me it was chewier boba. Honestly, I was really not a fan of the crystal boba, it's more on the texture side of lychee jelly; it's hard and not that chewy (I felt a little tricked). And I couldn't taste much of the taro either.
