It was a miss at the Waipahu Teapresso. From walking in, the girls just stare no hello, small kine awkward. This was on 8/27/25. I was so excited to try the "mango sticky rice" smoothie and oh boy was that not worth $10. Spent nearly $30 for a total of 3 drinks. The mango sticky rice smoothie did NOT taste like mango sticky rice. Had a very artificial mango flavor taste. There was no coconut flavor whatsoever. Took a few sips and that was it. Really wanted to like it, but need to stick to just the regular dessert.

Refreshing drink in Waipahu, Oahu, Hawaii... It was the first day of July... a warm 80°F day that felt like 90°F. I finished doing paperwork and errands for my aunty and thought that I deserved a treat. Searching my Yelp app, I found Teapresso Bar in the Westgate Shopping Center! I know that Teapresso name because I have a Loyalty account! ...and I know Westgate Shopping Center because Leeward Drive-In and Thelma's Restaurant are on the ends of that strip mall! The free shared parking can be busy at times. Luckily, I arrived at an odd hour. Teapresso was empty! It looked really spacious with several tables and many chairs. Decor was cute - but the Angel Wings mural is gone! Shucks! However, there were some kawaii keychains and colorful tumblers for sale! Service was polite and efficient! I entered my number in the rewards system and ordered a Waikiki Sunset because of the layers of colors! It was a perfect, pretty, organic lemonade! I'll be back!

Located at Westgate on Farrington Highway, this Teapresso was ok. 4 stars because drinks are good, but no loyalty card, Clover, 5 stars, or anything to earn points. I had the wintermelon milk tea and it was made the same as other Teapresso bar. Service was ok, but it took a while to get my drink. Lots of parking, but parking is always full and tight.

Not all Teapressos are equal! The last two visits within the past year (more out of convenience) didn't really stand out to me. I'd only visit this Teapresso if I wanted a dessert drink after eating Thelma's Filipino food. I remember visiting this Teapresso during their first month about seven years ago, and I was excited. Since then, I've tried other mom and pop boba shops and other Teapresso locations, and the Waipahu Teapresso doesn't compare. I still enjoy the Ewa Beach/Ho'opili and Waialae locations more for their drinks AND boba texture. The last time I had boba here, the boba was HARD, but the mango kumquat tea drink was still good. Not great for a $7 boba drink. I decided to cook the boba longer. I don't like writing these reviews anymore, but I'm hoping this will help them improve the quality of their products, especially since Waipahu doesn't offer many options for legit boba... Also, watch out for their loosely swinging door which could hit you from behind lol. On the plus side, their rewards program (via phone number) is transferable here and all other Teapresso shops on Oahu.

I always order the green tea haupia milk tea from other locations, and it's been my fav and always recommended to others. My other half went to this location and when he brought it, it was super dark; and when I drank it I started coughing really bad, the green tea was super potent like not even drinkable or diluted. I tried called them 5x for a refund on my other half's card and they don't answer their phone. I even tried to see if it was possible for the other location to exchange or something but even they mentioned how dark it is. i love matcha, and still would of drank it even as a regular matcha but it was soo potent like not diluted, it's not drinkable. This was the first for me ever, so disappointed in this location.

First time at this location, was a little hesitant because I wasn't sure how my drinks would come out (I normally venture the central locations) but I left completely satisfied. It's a spacious area, lots of room for people to walk in and out, good amount of tables and chairs. The staff here are so friendly and the drinks came out quick and tasty .. So happy it's close to my home! Menu can be a little intimidating however, I try not to get to fancy. Lol Today's choice? Pink hibiscus drink with Lychee popping pearls lightly sweetened extra ice please. Service quick and friendly. It was so festive inside I loved it! Menu has something for everyone. From coffee, smoothies both fruity and ice creamy type. Customize to your liking by adding all types of boba, pearls, toppings, foam etc. Totally satisfying and so happy!

Ever in a mood for a cool delicious and cannot put down drink? Teapresso in Waipahu is your place. The service is always good and place is clean and nicely decorated than most stores. I opted to try the Ube Latte with Mini bobas-it didn't disappoint. There were several new ones if you're a chocoholic

Any day is better when there is milk tea with boba involved! I walked here from Firestone while they were working on my car. It's a great place to hang out and have NICE COLD milk tea! They have wifi, a/c, and plenty of seating and tables. The staff are nice. And FAST! Parking seems a little tight, but this is mid day Saturday...it may not be the case at other times or days. However, I see they have loads of delivery options (DoorDash, Grubhub & Bitesquad), so never fear....you can get your tea, coffee, or ice cold slushy delivered to your door!!! (Yay). While milk tea is traditionally non-dairy...a lot of places use non dairy creamer, which is not the healthiest and also super high in sugar....SO I was excited to find out they have multiple ORGANIC non-dairy milk options - almond milk, oat milk, coconut milk, & soy milk. Their yogurt series with purple rice looks amazing with all my favorite fruit flavors (mango, pineapple, peach, honeydew, lychee, ube, strawberry ) ...sadly yogurt and I aren't friends, so I won't be back to try that, BUT I will be back to try some of their other iced tea options, organic lemonades, and fruit slushies! Not much in terms of food or snacks...other than some macarons and gummy bear options...which all look tasty. Side note: there is a Ria money transfer booth inside.

Wonderful service in a very clean space. Very cute decorations are up for Halloween right now. Their selection is ginormous!!! They have fraps, bubble teas, smoothies, and more. The flavors are too many to count. I was very impressed. The workers are very patient, kind, and knowledgeable. Absolutely love the vibe here. You can tell they love their jobs. The drinks we ordered were really delicious, and the price is not bad either! I will definitely be back here to work on trying those items on their selection boards. Don't skip visiting here. You won't know what you're missing if you do.

Everyone in waipahu goes here so we had to try it. Von got taro milk tea with small boba 50% sweet. He thinks the boba is way too small. Laura ordered California milk tea with regular boba 50% sweet. It's pretty sweet. It's good though. They offer games here which is fun. Drinks didnt taste powder.. Aesthetic here is great. Great place to just hang out. Would come back here to try other stuff, like the lemonade. Standard pricing. read more

I was craving Taro Milk Tea, so I decided to come to the Waipahu Location. First Impression; I liked the atmosphere and the modern decor of the place. First Impression of Service: Not so great. It was busy but it should not take a ridiculous amount of time to make 1 drink. I waited 10 minutes for someone to take my order and another 15 for my order to be finished. The other Teapresso Bar's I've been to around the island we're busy but at least we're efficient and got out drinks really quickly. When I ordered my drink, I asked for 50% sweetness. Because they took so long, I had right away. I finally had a first sip of my drink and it tasted so powdery and potent. YUCK! Plus it tastes like it was 100% sweet than 50%. This is the first time I've been let down by a Teapresso Bar. The workers at this location really need to step it up, never in my life have I experienced Boba this potent and service that took forever. I'm only giving 2 stars just for the decor. The service is just horrible. If you want Powdery tasting Boba, this the place you come too read more

Teapresso bar is now my to go place when I need my milk tea boba fix. The only place on the island that makes boba drinks freshly brewed and not with powder. My favorites are, teapresso and Thai milk tea with boba. The service there is fast and excellent they always make it just the way I like it every time I go there. read more

I usually love this Teapresso location but this would be the first time I've experienced bad customer service. My boyfriend walked in and no one greeted him. As he ordered and was ready to pay, he asked if there was applePay. The worker had no facial expressions whatsoever and just said "no," that gave off a rude vibe. As he got the drinks, I looked at one of them and realized it was not filled as much as a regular drink should be??? I mean it's fine if the drink isnt filled all the way to the top but it was really terrible. Didn't want to go back in because of the customer service that was given so we just left disappointed and dissatisfied. read more

Update: a few hours after posting this review I got a DM from the business owner who said: "I should not involve the business in the review, he loves his kids and was only hitting him on his hands. That I should stay out of telling him how to raise his Kids. And my parents should've given me an ass whooping. I stand by my rating/review and will never give a cent to a business that condones the treatment of children like this- family or not. I hope readers of this review consider the same. ---------------------------------------------- I'm rating the boba Tea 4 stars. But giving 1 star for the fact that while we were waiting for our drink to be ready a dad from this family that runs the tea place apparently (per another customer in line with us)...hit his little kid no older than a year old so many times and none of the staff said or even looked at the crying kid. For what??? for dropping some piece of food he was eating... awful experience as a customer and shame on the staff (who may be Family?) to not say anything. Dude with the white framed glasses who hit your kid so many times and acted like you didn't hear me say "stop hitting him"- you're evil....and karma is a bitch. read more

So glad they opened a legit tea place in Waipahu. First time here & my drink was SO delicious, I'm already planning to get another tmr morning staff was really friendly greeted us right when we walked in & they all thanked us on our way out - I hardly ever experience that much appreciation from any business. When I was ordering I wasn't very confident but the cashier was really helpful & very patient. Also I love the fact they were open passed 6pm on a Sunday cuz everywhere else was closed & my pregnancy cravings was hitting me HARD! Safe to say I'm grateful & def will be a regular! read more

I came here during their soft opening and everything was perfect, not to mention the owners are the sweetest and most considerate people ever! Their drinks were always consistent during the soft opening and grand opening. But after they received new hires, the quality of both, service, drink quality and boba quality has dropped significantly. One time, a few weeks after their grand opening, I ordered a 75% Jasmine Milk Tea with boba and light ice. When I received my drink, it was bitter. So I asked the baristas if they could kindly fix it, but every time I drank the sample they'd reach out to me, it would taste the same! The girl who was making my drink wasn't mixing the classic syrup when she kept adding into the drink! There was 150% sweetness and I noticed the sugar was just hovering on the bottom of the mixing cup, because she wasn't mixing it! So I had to get the only drink they knew how to do. A Teapresso Milk Tea.. I was so disappointed. Through the times that I did try to give them another chance, it would always be the same issue with sweetness. But the issue that bothers me the most is the quality of the boba. When they opened initially, their boba was PERFECTION. It was springy, but soft, not mushy and good bite of subtle sweetness. As this location continued to grow, the boba got more and more mushy. It almost reminds me of the boba quality you'd get at a Jollibee with their Pearl Coolers. It's not pleasant. A side note, I love grass jelly. But their grass jelly isn't made properly, it's supposed to have a soft jiggle, even softer than the custard topping. But theirs is hard, no softness whatsoever. Grass jelly and custard are popular boba toppings, especially in Japanese and Chinese style boba shops. Really disappointed, especially when the baristas call you "weird" when I ask for both toppings in my drink. They're weird for not knowing it's a thing. Whatever is happening during training, I think needs to adjusted. I hope they fix these issues soon. We need more good boba places on the island. read more

Love love love! The owners are so sweet. The hokkaido milk tea with sea salt foam and the owners keep me coming back. I am so happy Kapolei has a legit boba place that serves boba with milk tea, not the usually honeydew powder stuff. My brother is also a regular and comes almost every week. They have a self serve popcorn machine and fun games and free WiFi. It's a trendy environment that is welcoming. 10/10 recommend! read more

Four solid stars for Teapresso Waipahu! My go to has been Rainbow tea house but I've found a new favorite! So convenient to be in Waipahu because it's very near to me! The Teapresso milk tea here had to be some of the best milk tea I've tasted. Every order is freshly brewed and made to your liking! They have lots of varieties of tea to try. Organic blends, coffee and different jellies and toppings. Teapresso milk tea being number one i have it a shot and I'm hooked. This place is in a pretty busy parking lot but there's a lot of parking so that's a huge plus! The staff here are very friendly and are willing to remake a drink if you're not satisfied. Of course being you pick the sweetness and toppings it should be A ok when you get it. Samples are always available and can be made if you want to try something but are not sure. I asked about the viatnamese iced coffee and they made a Sample for me to try. It's very bitter and strong if you're looking for that extra boost! Stop by Teapresso if you haven't. The Teapresso milk tea is amazing i would highly recommend it. I will continue to come here and support this business. My favorite has been replaced! Review #46/100 for 2017 read more

Young staff that looked like they hated their jobs. They weren't knowledgeable of their menu when I asked for suggestions. Their menu is a bit confusing. Their brown sugar, milk drink is posted under the tea section as if it's the "Brown Sugar Milk Tea" but it's not. My milk tea was just a $5 cup of milk and no tea which they got my order wrong. Mentioned that this is not what it was supposed to taste like and was told that tea is NOT added in the drink. UGH! I paid ANOTHER $5 to get it correct and she forgot to put the Boba. read more

The 3 stars is relating to the delivery of the drinks. I did it via grubhub. Placing an order was easy. It stated it would be delivered from 2:45-3:09. Got a notice that it was running late. Driver had a hard time locating my address but didn't bother calling for directions. If it wasnt for the Live app we wouldn't have known that he drove pass. Ended up walking to his vehicle. The drinks were watery from the ice melting. I guess thats what you get when you order delivery. read more

The Teapresso is very upbeat and friendly the workers are friendly and helpful . They have a variety to choose from and the menu is clear and easy to read . Workers also goes over the menu and can help you decide. Location is way to find a few shops over form Leeward drive inn located in Waipahu . And they also have cute floating cup holders .witch I decided to get and the prices here are reasonable. read more

Went back and tried their Thai tea since it's been a favorite of mine throughout all bubble tea places. Glad to say that I really liked theirs! Great flavor and not drowned out by the milk. Their boba still had the great consistency I liked too. Definitely coming back for more Thai tea. read more

I hear about this place from a lot of people saying it's good the one in Kapolei. So my son and I wanted to give it a try. We where passing waipahu so we decided to go to Teapresso Bar in waipahu. We walked in looking at the menu then we decided what drink we wanted. Went to place our order and asked cashier questions about the drink cashier was giving as attitude for no reason we told the cashier what drink we wanted and if we could get less ice he said yea. Got our drink but not what we paid for. Less ice mean less ice not less liquid. Never again. read more

It's my first time coming to this place and first impression is okay it's a bit noisy but it's tolerable. I ordered and gotten my drink and decided to stay. Since I'm waiting for my laundry to dry from the laundromat. Within 10 mins of sitting inside the noise escalated from the costumers on the other end they were yelling and laughing at the top of their lungs. I do understand that it's a place to hangout or to chill but damn! make sure other people are comfortable too to stay. Regarding the drink, I order and KitKat Frappe and it's okay and gave me the shi*s. Lol I don't think I would come back and chill at this place or order the same thing but they have lots of drinks to choose from the menu. If I will come back I'll probably just order and chill in my car. read more

Don't let the location deter you! Quality ingredients, delicious drinks, friendly and knowledgeable staff await inside Spacious spot to hang out with a group. Board games and photo backdrops provided too. Today was my 4th time there and it was considerably quieter and slower than usual. During the week, many Waipahu Intermediate students hang out there after school into the evening so it can get busy and loud. The wait time has been less than 5 min. once you order Definitely a go-to for an afternoon pick me up! read more

I am sorry to say that my experience here today was probably the worst experience I've had at a food establishment in a very long time. For anyone who knows me well, I am not the type of person to get upset easily over food and drinks. On the menu, under the "Signature Milk Tea" section, it listed Seafoam Green. So that's what I ordered, I could have said "Seafoam Green MILK TEA" but I just assumed that it would come out as a milk tea because it was under the signature milk tea section. So, admittedly, that was a mistake on my part. So, when I received my drink, I noticed it was just plain green tea with Seafoam on top. So I look at the girl a little confused and question it. Then, I followed up with "I thought that this was supposed to be a milk tea?" She said, "No, you ordered it with plain green tea." So then I say "I ordered it as a Seafoam Green, which is how it is listed on the menu." And all I get in response is a blatant "I'm sorry". Meanwhile, my straw breaks while I attempt to poke through the cover, and she just says "You want a new straw?" At this point I'm irritated and I'm not the type of person to ask for any type of handout or any kind of free thing. So as she continues to explain, I just wanted to get out of there and just said "It's fine..." and left. I have been in similar jobs (I used to be a barista) so I understand. However, it should be a general understanding that if a customer seems unsatisfied with what they received, it should be a priority to do something to make the situation right, instead of just "I'm sorry". Also to top it all off, there were a ton of kids inside the shop, many of whom didn't have any drinks in hand. A lot of them looked like they were just there to abuse the free WiFi. So if you're trying to enjoy a nice time with a friend to catch up, this is not the place, especially around 2/3pm. They do however make great drinks, so I do suggest going to any of their other locations. I have not had any issues at any of the other locations - all of the staff are nice. So, I do encourage you to make a hard pass on this one and go to the next closest Teapresso. read more

My kids and I stopped in after soccer practice for a couple of smoothies. It's clean, well lit and plenty of seating. We ordered 2 smoothies and a slushy... super yummy! We are pretty particular about our smoothies and these are fantastic! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable as well. Definitely found our go-to spot. read more

9/22/2021 Ordered 2 avocado smoothies with lychee jelly. In the smoothie were granulars of the avocado skin, measuring in size of about 1/64 to 1/16 on an inch, that was visible from outside of cup. It left a bitter after taste. Also found a small piece of sticky emblem. All the smoothies ordered at Waipahu, this never happened, to which I found out, the place has new owners. read more

This is a very convenient location close to my workplace where I can escape from the madness so that I can get some refreshing milk tea or fruity flavored iced teas. Parking is pretty limited, but if you arrive before or after the lunch rush you'll find a spot somewhere in the lot. I like that that we can earn points for free drinks by entering our phone number on the FiveStars loyalty program touch screen system. There's lots of tables to sit at. There's a shorter table in the back where it looks more ergonomic for little children to sit at. The drinks are made fresh with real brewed tea. They make their boba balls nice and chewy (that doesn't sound weird at all). They also tend to get busy around when school lets out around 2 PM and the middle school and high school students start filling the place. read more

Taste Tea is located in Waikele Premium Outlet which is divided in to two section and Taste Tea is located in the area with Lowe's and Old Navy area and is found along the fence and not in the McDonald's food area. The only downside is there not seating in this area regardless of the freeway vibe and is pretty much a grab and go situation though love the convenience of having this spot with lots of free parking does make very Taste Tea. I've seen Coffee or Tea? whenever I'm in the area but really have the hardest time finding parking at this Crossroads at Waipio complex which is probably why the limit customer parking to 30 minutes to be fair but then that leaves you little time to sit and relax as they do have some tables inside to do so. After finishing at Car Wash 808 Express I though to give it a try and was lucky enough to get a parking and knew it was meant to be as I walked in liked what I saw inside as it's nice and clean and quite spacious and had many of the snacks and treats to choose from as well. I did notice their featured drinks and the Honey & Lemon Black Tea which sounded exactly what I needed and though I'm able to adjust the sweetness and ice level as well is nice to enjoy my drink, the staff made it very fast and efficient giving me lots of time to run over to Golden Coin for some lunch as well. Love this cozy spot though the time limit does deter me from visiting here as I do like to sit and enjoy my tea sometimes as well. Thank you!

That changed last week when I saw a photo of the drink that called out to me, a Mango Sticky Rice Smoothie. Suddenly al other meals were put on hold, and there was only one possible way to get through my day- follow the siren's song straight into this small but sweet boba shop! Sure enough, this smoothie was completely worth the visit, and will probably bring me back again before it is gone. The smoothie was a simple mango cream with some coconut, but it sat atop a scoop of still warm Thai sticky rice and under a scoop of diced mango, which had of c ourselves been drizzled with sweetened condensed milk. The only thing it was a missing was a salty element, so I added a sprinkle of flaky salt once I made it home. I was only there for a short visit, but the employees were so very sweet to me and to the other customers there with me that day. If you find yourself wanting a sweet treat and are anywhere near Waipio, Teapresso is a fantastic choice for your time and money.

This visit was rather strange though we walked in and no one was at the counter. No bell to ring. We said hello a few times and we were ready to walk out. But one of the ladies from the nail salon was sitting at the table in the corner and we asked if they were open. She alerted someone in the nail salon and she came out promptly. This time around we ordered the mango sticky rice and D2 had the lava flow. I was curious about the mango sticky rice, bc it's blowing up all over the place here at various other places so I had to give it a try. I thought it was something new. Turns out it's just like mango sago that I get on the mainland. It was good though and very satisfying. Blended fresh mango, coconut milk, and mini sago pearls. D2 wasn't sure how she felt about her lava flow though. She asked what a lava flow is supposed to be and I told her coconut and strawberry. When I saw her drink it was more yellow and possibly pineapple?! She said it definitely tasted like pineapple more-so than coconut. Oh well maybe their interpretation is different. She drank it anyway and said at least she's tried it. We've been so many times I've lost count. They have a rewards system by just typing in your phone number. We've tried so many things like li hing lemonade, passion fruit slushes, coffees with egg pudding. And everything is good.

Also, like every other Teapreaso location nowadays, they have a surcharge for paying with a credit card. We won't be back.

It was sure good to be back, and I am happy for their business to have its own place where customers can sit, not just takeout. They are now located near West Loch station by Mickey D's and Seafood City [the shops West Loch station). I live in Honolulu but it was sure worth it to take the rail to satisfy my sisig craving. I ordered their pork sisig with rice, and it sure was still delish! Pro tip for the business is using calamansi instead of lemon (but still good!). My order seems like it is for just one person but honestly, if you share it with another person, you'd still be satisfied because it is stomach-heavy! If you didn't have much to eat throughout the day, you could easily demolish the sisig dish I ordered. For drinks, they have canned sodas inside for $2.00 but I decided to get some smoothies at Hang's just doors down the place. As the parking spot may fill up, you can always drop a buddy off to pick up some to-go order. I have yet to try some of their other dishes such as their beef pares noodles. So--if you are craving ramen--try switching it up and get some of their noodles! I also recommend getting bulk orders for parties! Mahalo and I hope this business continues to reap success!

Also, our order of pancakes came 20mins after we finished eating, I wish i were kidding, We kept trying to flag down Aunty to cancel but she was very frazzled cooking, taking orders, and filling orders so we just waited. At the end we spent $60 including tip and left with a Hoo-Hum experience. Although I know for certain I just don't have the greatest of luck with this place, I am so happy they are still around and very much thriving! Places like this, that make Hawai'i so great are slowly shutting their doors so I do have a very great appreciation for their hard work and resilience through the many years.
