Offerings: wing bar, po' boys, southern sides, salads, garlic noodle bar, plates & favorites, Mac & pasta favorites. Bites: Cajun fish po' boy (15.95) -small dab of tasty cole slaw -plentiful skinny straight cut French fries. Crispy crunchy texture, no mushiness. When cooled still taste delicious. (Unlike other vendors) -Po' boy came on 2 round buns ala hamburger style. 2 generous fresh tasting catfish fillets not overcooked, had a peppery kick. Crispy texture. Overall rating 7/10 Customer service: cannot comment on, didn't experience this during our visit. Upon arrival we ordered on the self serve kiosk and went to a nearby table while waiting for a text to let us know our order was ready. We ordered : Wings & Fries combo -- lemon pepper wings & "Cajun fries" 7/10 wings were flavorful but not as good as I expected based on the reviews. They weren't dry and were meaty which I appreciated but the seasoning itself isn't that good. Would get again but try a different flavor. The "Cajun fries" were more like regular fries, zero Cajun seasoning to it. They were also the coldest part of the whole order so I'm assuming pre made and sat in a food warmer. Would've rated higher if fries were fresh Garlic noodles & Cajun fish 8/10 Fish itself was a bit chewy but the seasoning was good and the garlic noodles were delicious! Perfect amount of flavor and portion was perfect. Lobster 5 Mac 9/10 this was probably our favorite part of our entire order. Lobster was good, tasted fresh, and the cheese sauce was to die for. Lemon pepper wings were a 10/10. Some of the best I've had. Perfect size, seasoned flawlessly, and what stood out most was how oil-free they tasted. Super flavorful but still light on the stomach, which I appreciated. Also, shoutout to the woman at the register with the curly hair and big smile, she was so kind and welcoming. People were around placing orders, that makes me excited that people still supporting. Ordered on a kiosk which I liked because I know I have full control of my order. The person was there to answer any questions. Ordered the brussels sprouts which were a bit heavy on the vinegar. Then I had the honey fried chicken and garlic noodles. The chicken was dry not juicy or very flavorful. Now those noodles!!!! I will be back ASAP for those. The garlic was perfect and I think it had cheese on them, 20/10!! The food from this restaurant is so good. I loved the garlic noodles and the shrimp the most. I got two different kinds of shrimp. One of my orders came with sautéed shrimp and the other came with breaded fried shrimp. I have to say the sautéed shrimp were amazing. They were so big and full of meat. The fish was basa and it was just okay to me. It wasn't horrible, but it definitely didn't steal the show like the shrimp and garlic noodles did. Their fries were okay as well. They were very skinny, but seasoned well. The customer service was awesome. The employee was patient and answered all of my questions which I greatly appreciated. Also, the ambience of where the food was served, which was for the culture on a taco. Tuesday was amazing. I have to say the music made the food taste even better. I got some lemon pepper wings and some shrimp garlic noodles. Food was done pretty quickly and service was pretty good. The employees were nice. I cannot complain about the food. The garlic noodles were excellent, and the shrimp was cooked to perfection. My chicken wings were crispy and had excellent flavor. I gave it 4 stars because of the price and portion size. I stopped by Emeryville Marketplace to get something to eat. This place looked like the best choice, and I was right. I had one of the chicken sandwiches, it was really good and a nice size not small at all . I could barely finish it because I got full,l because of the fries added. It came with Cajun fries, and the portion nice! I don't eat fried food that often, but this was a good exception. worth it. I also got one of those iced drinks and let one of the workers pick the flavor for me. It was hella good too. For first impressions, the service was great and friendly. Food was served generally quite fast so theres no complaint about efficiency. For the food, I'd say the chicken was a bit more on the dry side and I fully expected chicken thighs because of the price, but the meat used was chicken breast. The garlic noodles themselves were on the better side as the fragrant aroma of garlic was instantly apparent and the noodles have a perfect chew to them. Sadly, the sauce covering the noodles was more salty than I would have liked as it lingered on the back of my tongue. The drizzle of honey helped cut the feeling a bit, but not enough to get over it. Overall I've heard from other friends that there are better options on the menu like the wings, fish and fries. I'll be sure to give them a try on the next time and hopefully change the rating of this new establishment soon. I just wouldn't recommend the chicken and garlic noodles read more

went again today 7/15 and the girl with braids to the back she was very rude and touching the top of my moms straws with her bare hands after she got done touching the counters and everything else in the restaurant, NO GLOVES. and then when my mom asked can she get a new straw the girl rolled her eyes and started to get upset but that's not even sanitary. I heard today they had a bad health review, i see why. She then went to the back started laughing and looking with her coworker. Some people should not work in any place of business with that attitude. All while the manager or owner whoever he is. he's the tall guy that just stands there like a statue looking not correcting his employees or apologizing for this mistake his employee made. I really had high hopes for the spot as it is in the same place have another southern spot that I really loved. But unfortunately, flavor and cost wise, this fell short. Service is great and really attentive and nice, but you can have the best service and still not have the best quality food unfortunately. I got the chicken salad and attempted to get a side of mac & cheese, however they didn't have a side of mac & cheese so it ended up getting the entire full portion. I didn't need a full portion and unfortunately they didn't offer a side of the mac & cheese, which they really should consider doing. The salad was OK. I didn't like that the dressing was already put on a salad and I had requested the food to go so it was a bit soggy once I actually sat down to eat it. The mac & cheese was just noodle noodles with cheese. That's the best way to put it. I wasn't impressed them won't get it again. If I'm in a bind and really need something to eat, maybe I would get the salad but not really. My Mom brought home some takeout from Tease Southern Kitchen (TSK) at the Emeryville Marketplace. The garlic noodles and honey fried chicken were so outstanding that, the very next day, I contacted TSK to cater those menu items for the repast for my cousin's celebration of life (falling that weekend). DeWayne and his staff at TSK were so wonderful and provided superb customer service, especially given it was a tight turnaround to have the food ready. The TSK staff even went into their restaurant extra early to accommodate my catering order. The food was ready on time and the ambiance was awesome at their restaurant. DeWayne even beautifully garnished the pans of food with edible flowers--a touch that I hadn't even requested but TSK went above and beyond for me. DeWayne also was so kind to load the pans of food onto a cart and bring them all the way to our car in the parking lot across the street. Just first class all the way! Our family and friends loved TSK's food so much that many of them had seconds and even packed some to take home! I can't thank TSK enough for their delicious food, exceptional customer service, and genuine kindness during this difficult time of mourning. We didn't realize it at the time, but we arrived at Tease right as they were closing and were still met with the friendliest, most positive energy and truly exceptional customer service. We were extremely satisfied with our meals - I finished mine, which says everything for me. I wish I had the name of the young woman who helped us because from our first interaction through food delivery, her energy was amazing and perfectly complemented the meal itself.
