If you are looking for a quick breakfast on the go this is the place. Located nicely near the water it is a perfect place if staying in the hotel district. The food was priced really well and the value was right on par or better than I expected. I had the Everything Bagel with shaved pastrami. It was perfect. There is not a thing I would change. My wife had the avocado toast that had their pico de gallo on it and nicely seasoned with some garlic seasoning. It was a bigger sized portion than I expected. Also added the fruit cup and it had premium stuff. Large blueberries, melon, grapes and even pomegranate. This exceeded my expectations. Sorry for no food pics. Staying at the hotel right by this and popped over for a quick lunch. They have a menu in addition to a specials board and the staff were friendly and quick service! I got the chicken cordon bleu sandwich - it was tasty but there really was not a lot of meat/ filling over all (a thin-medium layer in about 2/3 of the bread). Fast Jacks was a great, quick to-go coffee/breakfast option when I was in the area recently for a conference. It's very affordable, and had great breakfast specials/combos too. Pro-tip is that you can call-in your order so that you don't need to wait--the stand is a bit small (big shout-out to the staff for making my visits so pleasant!) so it can get busy quite fast if there are many orders piled up. This is the perfect little spot to grab coffee and sit by the bay. There seasonal coffee flavors on their chalk board always catch my eye and interest. It seems like when I go it depends on who makes the coffee and how busy it is because sometimes it's just good and sometimes it's great. The food and gelato are good too! I had the spiced apple latte with almond milk and iced maple white chocolate latte with almond milk the last few times I went. Cuban bread and butter hit the spot. So simple yet so good! Staff is always polite. I can't help but come here everytime I'm in Tampa. read more

Fresh made eggs, bacon, cuban-pressed sandwiches, and more, along with coffee, espresso, etc. And...you can get it for less than $10. When the line at Starbucks is 40-persons long, walk over the bridge, enjoy a view of the boats, and grab a well-made carry out breakfast at Fast Jack's. PS - Food comes in to go containers, but the 3 days I was here (Dec 2021) I grabbed an outside seat at the affiliated Jackson's Bistro & Bar, and enjoyed a view of the water. read more

Convenient spot for a quick lunch hot breakfast. Prices are OK, but the food is really good considering it's a walk up window. They share a kitchen with the parent restaurant Jackson's. The steak sandwich, and the Cubans are probably the best items. They also make a breakfast sandwich on a cinnamon bread that is delicious. read more

I stumbled into Fast Jack's while looking for a reasonably priced quick breakfast a couple weekends ago. Ordered breakfast and after the fact realized they were slammed with orders (it was peak coffee/breakfast time) I had to be somewhere soon after and let them know to cancel the order. Later as I was walking over the bridge into downtown (at least 1000 feet away from the Fast Jack's), the gentleman who took my order chased me down and handed over my breakfast to me. As other onlookers told me "that's service right there!". Breakfast was delicious and I encourage everyone to give this place a try. read more

Stumbled across this place for a break while attending the APEC Convention at the Tampa Convention Center. A nice little walk up shop for dessert, coffee, teas, sandwiches. Along the Riverwalk located on the other side of the bridge from the Tampa Convention Center. The server Chrissy was really helpful and let me taste as many samples of the gelato as I wanted. A small gelato you can mix up to 3 flavors and a large gelato up to 4 flavors. I ordered a small gelato, strawberry and chocolate which was about $3-buck-something. Especially with the hot humid Florida weather and the nice view along the Riverwalk it was nicely located and convenient. This place is good for a lite snack. read more

We went here for a quick breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. They had a breakfast special for $4.50 with scrambled eggs cooked with fresh veggies, 3 pieces of bacon on the side and cuban toast.
