I went Tech no 2 off of Mountain View because I just put a new battery but battery light was still on. Talked to Ben about it and told it was my alternator that was bad. He took a device out to check the voltage of the battery to show me why the alternator was not good. The looked busy but he told me can get it done in two hours. That sounds great to me. This is based on my last visit. I called and asked if they could fix my nitrous oxide sensor on my BMW X5. They said sure bring it over. When I got there I told them the sensor needed to be replaced. He said let me look at it and I'll let you know. I dropped the car off and called them back later that day. I asked what the situation was and he said that my nitrous oxide sensor had to be replaced and that I had to take it to the dealer because he can't sync it with to the cars computer. When I go to pick up my car, he said that will be $40 bucks for me to look at it. I told him that I already told him what needed to be fixed. He said well I can fix it but ur still going to need to take it to the dealer to get it synced. He told me I still had to pay the fee even if he can't do the job. After going back and forth I realized that this was going no where. I will never be back. Maybe he can do the job on older cars but my issue is to not tell me you can fix something and then tell me I have to go to the dealer and still charge me! Beware read more

I just got home with my newly repair car from these folks. I want to thank Ben very much and his team for working on my car. The other day I sprung a leak on my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I couldn't tell if the hose leaking was a radiator hose, or something else. I had heard great things about Ben's business and to his credit their service is all around great! Ben took a quick look under the hood and he was able to almost immediately figure out what work my car needed. It turns out I had a leaky water pump system and he was able to give me a really good estimate on cost for parts. I did some research to look at the general costs for the type of work needed beforehand and what Ben offered was very reasonable. I asked Ben if he could do a tune up and he was helpful in negotiating what kind of work I wanted for the tune-up. Please don't believe all the 5 stars rated for this shop. He has his friends and relative rated for him! The owner will base on how you look like to give you a quote (price). If he thinks you have money and willing to pay more he will find a way to make you believe there are problems about your car. He doesn't have a price list. He just bases on his gut...LOL. I made the mistake of taking my car to the chevy dealer because my brakes were grinding. The dealer charged me $150 just to tell me what the problem was. Ok, let me begin, took my car here and I called before I did. 3 days later my car was never looked @. Ben said he would call tomorrow, never did, I called and said my h2o pump was bad and it would cost so much to fix, and he was spouting off numbers off of the top of his head, my wife called to confirm price to authorize the work. Told her a complete different price. Ben just guessed and lied. There was nothing wrong with the h2o pump because we took it else where. Ben was quoting near $800. We got it fixed some place else for under $200, and had it back in hours. I'm suspicious of all the 5 star review, must be his own workers, also, when my wife went there to pick up car, workers were very inappropiate by there stares. Car got over heated on my 2004 Accord, Came today based on the review from other yelpers. Met with Ben and he quoted reasonable price for the 3 leak radiator hoses (most of the charges are for labor fee of an hour and half work). I also requested him to check and top off all the needed fluids. He top off my transmission and steering fluid with no extra charges. My 1998 avalon ran of air conditioning, needs refill new gas. Normally it cost me $95 in my regular work shop.
