He did an Arredondo mod on a 1976 50 watt Marshall that chugged, surgically serviced a 1980 Marshall 2204 modded by Todd Langner, and then turned a 1959 Filmosound Projector amp into a bluesy slide rock sounding little beast. Super nice guy too. I drive all the way from Sacramento to have work done on my amps by the best - CB Electronics

Recommend by Bananas I sent a video of the noise, then met and asked Chris to repair it. He said needed to look at the amp from nose to tail in order to fix the issue. When I picked it up I asked him what caused the noise and what was done to resolve it. He said he never heard the noise, but it was solved. He was really firm----he was an expert and it was fixed. I'm not calling into question the work he did. He replaced the tubes, repaired the speaker, and did some other things. Great! But how can you be sure a noise is fixed, if you never heard it? I'm in recording mode and guitar is my secondary instrument so I use it rarely. I used it about 3 times over the next 6 months and I heard the sound again but wasn't fast enough to get it recorded. 6 months after that I was able to. Yes it had been awhile, but it's an intermittent and the sound is identical to what it was before. If Chris had heard the noise, identified the cause, and replaced the part, I would believe it was something else. But that's not what happened and the sound is identical. Chris felt I should pay him again to do the same thing he did before. I asked if he might have overlooked something the first time and was told his work was "perfect". The suggestions that he might have overlooked something (delivered in a calm and respectful tone) did not go over well. We are all human. We all overlook things from time to time. His complete refusal to acknowledge that possibility is unreasonable. If he did fix it, I would expect the fix to last longer than 6 months. He kept saying emotions should be left out of the conversation which seemed out of left field. I totally agree. My mode was calm while he grew increasingly condescending and defensive. I pointed out his tone was becoming condescending and he actually said "oh wow...you're just like my ex-wife". Not sure why he brought his ex wife into the conversation but it was extremely unprofessional. I was being calm and respectful and there was no reason to make things personal. I'm a professional musician and have been going to Real Guitars/Gary Brauer for decades for guitar work. I can't say enough good things about Gary and his staff. Never once felt condescended to. Chris definitely did not treat me with the same level of respect I extended to him. At no point did I get angry or condescending, it's not my style. I hoped he would consider my viewpoint. I don't feel he did that. I told him I didn't feel good about my experience with him and left. He's probably great if nothing goes wrong, but handling difficult situations with grace shows true integrity. In my case Chris was unprofessional and unaccommodating.

I tested the broken one in the store and it still didn't work. The guy behind the counter said that maybe the technician (Rashid the owner) forgot to do some of the work, so leave them and come back next week. I came back the following week, but it appeared that still nothing had been done! WTF. Again they said leave them and it will get done right this time. These machines are very valuable, so I didn't want this guy touching my decks again. I took them home, opened the covers and saw that at least one of the drive belts hadn't been replaced and the decks clearly hadn't been cleaned. There was no way for me to tell whether they had been tested, lubricated, calibrated, etc, but the broken one was still broken. I had paid a 50% deposit when I first brought them in. When I took the decks home I was mortified by the work (or lack of it) but at least I thought that I had only paid $500 instead of $1000. At least it wasn't a total rip-off, right? Well when I got my next credit card bill, I saw that they charged the other $500 (without my authorization!) weeks ago while they still had the decks and before I picked them up. Again WTF. I still can't comprehend the incompetence and/or lack of veracity and integrity of this shop. I really really don't understand how they have such great reviews from other customers. Maybe Rashid is a great TV repairman, but just plays an audio repairman on TV... All that said, I should give credit where credit is due. This was my second time I had visited their shop. The first time I had a great experience. Rashid told me that although it would be very expensive to have him repair my subwoofer, I could easily do it myself, and told me where to buy a new driver and how to install it. That impressed me...

What has impressed me most is the level of personalized attention they provide. They really take the time to understand the project, think through the details, and develop a thoughtful plan rather than simply recommending a one-size-fits-all solution. They've been incredibly thorough, responsive, and helpful in explaining the different options and making sure everything is designed correctly from the start. You can tell they genuinely care about getting the system right and creating a solution that will work reliably for the long term. I highly recommend Brilliant Connectivity to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and thoughtful networking professional.

And we also know that, in the future, nearly everything will need to be connected to the network. After weeks of searching for a solution, we discovered Brilliant Connectivity, which designs and installs Ubiquiti Unifi networking systems, the finest high-performance networks and wireless products on the market. Daniel G, the owner and founder, is a senior IT expert with deep knowledge and experience using Ubiquiti products to create customized networking solutions for his clients. And his installer, Rafael, did an excellent and clean installation that covers our entire house, upstairs, downstairs, interior and exterior. It is our pleasure to give Brilliant Connectivity our highest recommendation. Thanks to them, we have a home networking solution that meets all of our needs, and there are no more frustrating IT glitches and time-consuming DIY fixes to deal with. Thank you, Daniel and Rafael!
