In comparison to the other HVAC companies in the metro Atlanta area, ACE&A has always turned out to be the cheapest. They always provide, quick and efficient service, whether it be replacing a whole furnace, fixing a compressor problem, or replacing a bad thermocouple (the part that sends an electrical signal to light the pilot light in a furnace). The only down fall, their time frame window is a little broad, for example, noon-6p.m. That's why I'm deducting a star. If I owned my own house/condo I would totally trust them in servicing my heating and or air conditioner!

Despite the additional service and cost, the noise never went away. After receiving conflicting diagnoses and no resolution to the problem, I decided to hire a different HVAC company. Unfortunately, my experience was frustrating and left me with little confidence in their workmanship and troubleshooting abilities. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

I used them a month before that and he was similarly 2 hours past the time window they gave. But the biggest problem is that they are ridiculously expensive, and I mean ridiculous. They charged me $595 to replace the drain tube on my dishwasher. They said the high price was because of "labor," but we are talking about a hose going out from the machine and into the drain. Wrap your mind around that. I could have bought a whole new dishwasher at that price. Use them if money (or your time) is no object to you. I won't use them ever again.

I called three companies they all could not come and they were charging over $100 just for diagnostic and were not crediting that if there was repair. I called Climate Heroes they said we charge $89 and if there is repair we will waive the $89. I scheduled and they were able to come the next day. The lady also said for first time customers we discount to $49. The next day the technician was late I called and they said we are getting a lot of calls he is running late and we will discount your fee to $29.00. The Technician (Jackson) arrived not too long after did a complete check of both our downstairs and upstairs system and determined we have bad Freon leak in one of the systems. He actually showed me pictures of inside of the coil that was all frozen with ice. The unit was about 10 yrs old he suggested we consider a new system and contacted their Sr. project Manager Ron to come. Ron arrived while Jackson was still trying to fix the system temporary. Ron did a walk through of the house and estimated what type of system we need. He gave me an estimate even with discounts it was higher than what we wanted to spend. I contacted couple of friends in that business and they all agreed for the unit he was recommending it was a reasonable price. I called Ron back and made him an offer for less than his estimate. He check with is manager and accepted my counter offer. He scheduled the install for following day. That is when Edwardo Hernandez and Brandon Kim came. During these process I was constantly kept informed of their status. They came and worked all day until late almost 10 p.m. but the job was much more complicated as the old system and the Duct work done by the builder for the original system was installed very bad. I am not sure if it was even to code. They removed, replaced all that and installed both the unit in the attic and outside fan and compressor. For the system to work properly and draw all the hot air out Ron had added a new Return and an additional supply. They ran out of time but came back early next day and completed the job. Checked everything and during the whole process kept me informed of their work and educated me on the new system. By the time they left the unit was working perfectly cooling the house. At no cost to us they also checked the second unit added more Freon and checked it fully. In my opinion both the staff at the office, the management team and the technicians went above an beyond to make sure we were fully satisficed. We will defiantly purchase our other unit from them. But as a certified Business Coach having worked with many such companies. I am highly recommending Climate Heroes to everyone. You will be fully satisfied not with their product and work but the value for your money. I rarely give such reviews to any company but because of quality of work and the value specially for such an important assets in anyone's home I believe Climate Heroes get 100% of my remanadtion.

I used trusted friends and neighbors to get the names of reputable companies. I called each company and explained to them exactly what I needed. Without stating who the other two companies were I will just say that I chose Protech and it was an easy decision. Their price was very competitive and they gave me a quote for a job without trying to sell me on products that I didn't want. I worked with Marty Gildemeyer (Protech Owner) and we was very responsive to me in answering questions about the plan. He also provided some references of previous customers that I spoke with, all of which raved about Protech and their customer service. I have no background in HVAC so to find a company that made me feel comfortable about this process was such a relief. As far as delivery on the product, Protech delivered exactly on what they said they would do. Brand new unit, re-worked all my old duct work, and installed three zones...all in one day. I even threw a curveball at them and told them I wanted to be able to use home automation with the thermostats. Marty said no problem, ran new wall wiring, and ordered the new thermostats. They'll be coming back to install them once they get in. His crew was great! They worked very hard all day long and did an excellent job cleaning up after the project. They showed up when they said they would, they delivered on the plan at the price they promised, and they finished when they said they would. It was OUTSTANDING! I would recommend Protech to anyone, new projects and old projects, I believe they can handle it all.

I first had my AC guy come out but he couldn't fix it and told me to contact Rheem authorized service. I found the ProTech heating and air in the Rheem website and contacted them since the reviews were ok. When the service person came last Friday he diagnosed it that the furnace motherboard was the issue. He said that the company will see if the motherboard is still under warranty or not and will call me on Monday. That Friday's cost was $239 that included residential fee of $98 which was reasonable. Then came a call on Monday from Marty and he said the total cost of replacing the motherboard was cost $911. I asked him about if the motherboard was under warranty or not and he said it was and even though it seemed high I went ahead and had them replace it due to high temperatures. However, this morning I thought about the price and after quick search on Google it turns out I was overcharged. I put my Rheem furnace model number which is 8.5 years old and Google says professional service will be around $450-$750 and this includes motherboard cost of $250-$400 which means service charge should only cost around $350. It was my mistake of not calling for second opinion. I do believe in honest company will service in this day and age where one bad service could affect company's future customers. ProTech heating and air clearly failed to provide me honest and fair service by charging me more than double the market price.
