I'm back and to write this much needed review for Technopia, because oh mah lawd, Jason resurrected my shattered screen and basically gave me a new phone. I dropped my phone whilst waiting for an Uber, SOBER, and was so shattered that it, indeed shattered - but luckily the picture and everything was still intact. Talk about a Spiderweb filter. I've been putting off getting a new screen replaced because I heard a few horror stories about phones not working and people having to buy a new phone either way. I literally put it off for months, and one day I randomly got fed up with adding extra L's and O's to my words, and was tired of all my friends correcting me, I'm an Aries, we hate that. Thankfully Yelp, has this "all message type of thing" to get quotes and that's how I came across Jason. He had a tremendous amount of reviews and a lot of great one for iPhone screen replacements and a bang for my buck, praise to my wallet - he had a reasonable price and quoted that he would be able to fix it in less than 20 minutes, plus he was local bc I try to avoid anything Sunvalley, and anything Mall, etc. I sent him a message letting him know I'll drop by and wanted a screen replace etc. The place is near Noah's and there is plenty of parking in the front and in the back. It's located right next to Barre Method, and neighbors with Color Me Mine, if Jason said he'd take hours on my phone, I would totally gone there. Anyways - Jason quoted me exactly what he said, and told me to come back in 20 minutes. BOY THAT WAS THE LONGEST 20 MINUTES OF MY LIFE. After getting gas, stopping by Pier One, and finding gray hairs while in my car, my phone was finished. I basically got a brand new phone! Jason did a great job, AND he mentioned with that service I have a lifetime warranty with anything phone related. *shatters phone screen again, lol jk you know I bought a glass protecter shortly after*. The reviews were right, Jason is honest, and does high quality work, not to mention he is VERY KIND. I'm hoping eventually I'll be able to change this review. We dropped a television off that wouldn't stay on back in early February. We were told at the time it'd be a couple weeks, service was friendly, so said ok and went on our way. Now 10 weeks later and still no communication from them. I've called a few times and each time they apologize, they're very busy because of the pandemic and the part should be in in a week. They've told me this now 3 times each three weeks apart. The owners are great people, very fast work and courteous. I've brought my phones there and Jason has repaired each time with reasonable prices. He put a free glass cover on my phone too. I've had 2 screen replacements on other phones and this recent issue he replaced my charge port. At first my phone didn't power up which was the issue after dropping it and it landing while plugged in, right on the charge port area. It wouldn't charge past 3% and I couldn't use the phone. But after the charge port replacement and after a hard reset and leaving it to charge overnight, the battery on my iPhone 12pro kept its charge and is now working fine. After careful consideration I've decided to give Technopia 5-stars. My other option was writing to Yelp and asking if they could add some extra stars for this stellar business, but I figured a 100% score was good enough. Though they've been in the electronics repair business 25 years, you may not know they also repair all types of cell phones, since they only started this side of their business a couple of years ago. Jason spoke with me on the phone about a repair to my Samsung Galaxy S5 charging port. He ordered the part for me and I brought it in today; the day before leaving on an international trip. I expressed the importance of not deleting any files on the phone (this happened to me once after a screen replacement somewhere else) and he assured me it would be in good hands. It certainly was! Only a few hours later a woman from the business called me and said my phone was ready for pickup. It works perfectly. AND THE BEST PART??!! Their price was significantly less than anywhere else I called. (And the turn-around time was very fast.) Highly-efficient work, high-quality work product, and low-cost to the consumer. I took an andriod Motorola cell phone in for a new screen. The repair was fast and reasonably priced. The repair was not checked well by the shop and I found the screen did not work properly after arriving home. I made another trip. They corrected the problem within a few hours. However the phone did not work properly after this. The screen would go black when receiving calls and you could not end a call. This turns out to be symptom of not installing the screen correctly. I was forced to take the phone to another shop where they informed me that the new screen was of low quality (observed by simply pushing on the screen and seeing it go crazy) and had been installed incorrectly to cause the symptoms experienced. I can not recommend this shop for android repairs. read more

However. they quickly told me on the phone that the problem was due to a defective panel that would cost more than a new TV, Not the news that I wanted to hear, but they did not waste my time or money by coming out to look as others wanted to do. Don't know anyone else who does really FREE diagnosis. Often times, when repair cost would exceed repair, they were fine with me using their written estimate so that I could get a free camera etc. replacement under my 3rd party vendor 5 year warranties. They always deserve more of my 'paid' business but have been there for me many times. The several actual repairs have been reasonably priced and thorough. That's pretty quick service! The cost for the repair was $75 total, including the $30 estimate that was then included in the final repair cost.
