We started with a luxuriously creamy, well-seasoned potato soup and an orchard salad bursting with blueberries, apples, strawberries, pomegranate seeds, cheese, and a bright balsamic vinaigrette. Then we split a juicy filet mignon, the kind where your knife simply glides through. Even the veggie medley and mashed potatoes were perfection. And whatever you do, don't skip dessert. The warm date bread with vanilla ice cream and date syrup is one of the best desserts I've ever had. A couple notes: look for the neon lights out front because it's incredibly dark and easy to miss the turn. The dining room is romantic but tiny, maybe five tables, so call ahead for a reservation. We really didn't understand how strict they were about it, since it's not like they offer anything like a Frappuccino or iced coffee as a beverage. So there's no competition there. My niece had a very awkward conversation with the person who greeted us and it was just overall a very unfortunate interaction. The server looked at me and said "We're not going to have an issue, are we?". She was SO rude and really embarrassed my niece in front of her young children.
