Brisket, cornbread, and a bowl of chili
Jim B.

Great place for barbecue in the Mojave Desert. If you are traveling to Death Valley or coming to Tecopa to discover the Hot Springs Stopping for a meal and brew. lots of homemade specialties to sample.

BBQ Brisket,chilli beans, honey cornbread.

This guy doesn't need to be on a reality BBQ box show. No wonder he's way out in the middle of nowhere. You have to get out here because the brisket is the most insanely & tastiest ,most importantly the tastes buds just marries it all together. His Bomb dipping sauce is amazing & Chili is excellent along with the honey cornbread ,it's to die for, Don't wait too long because it's a 100% thee best BBQ I've tasted yet. There's another BBQ in Beatty NV and it holds nothing compared to Tecopa brewery BBQ. Try the healing hot springs & while you're out here, go out to China Date farms & get you a date ice cream shake. Next trip I'm getting the 32oz brisket.

This place has some flavorful and juicy pork ribs & the brisket sandwich was Smokey & delicious! Don't even get me started on that candied bacon! This place is a gem & they really have perfected their craft. Prices are great as well. Went to the natural springs for a day trip & are here afterwards. Not a single regret! Check this place out!

Heading to Death Valley in search for Lunch.

Was closed for the summer. Long drive from Las Vegas, but fun and nice roads and scenery! Will return!

Steaks and beer off a dusty road…read more What a surprise to eat this well in tiny, quiet, Tecopa. The menu is small but thoughtful with great cuts of meat, a few appetizers, soup, salad, pasta, beer, and wine. After a long day of hiking, a glass of wine was exactly what we needed. We started with a luxuriously creamy, well-seasoned potato soup and an orchard salad bursting with blueberries, apples, strawberries, pomegranate seeds, cheese, and a bright balsamic vinaigrette. Then we split a juicy filet mignon, the kind where your knife simply glides through. Even the veggie medley and mashed potatoes were perfection. And whatever you do, don't skip dessert. The warm date bread with vanilla ice cream and date syrup is one of the best desserts I've ever had. A couple notes: look for the neon lights out front because it's incredibly dark and easy to miss the turn. The dining room is romantic but tiny, maybe five tables, so call ahead for a reservation. An immense thank you to the chef and owner for creating such a memorable meal in the middle of nowhere. Unexpected and oh so delicious.

This is definitely a no-frills restaurant outside looking in. But once you sit down and taste, then…read moretaste, and taste some more...this is time well spent! Highly recommend! Plus the service was on point too! Call ahead for reservations or pop by for a 5p or 7p sitting. You won't regret it!

We recently visited for brunch with my niece and her children…read more We had just gone to Starbucks and picked up a Frappuccino and another iced coffee drink for a treat. Unfortunately, the restaurant has a policy that no outside beverages are allowed. We really didn't understand how strict they were about it, since it's not like they offer anything like a Frappuccino or iced coffee as a beverage. So there's no competition there. My niece had a very awkward conversation with the person who greeted us and it was just overall a very unfortunate interaction. The server looked at me and said "We're not going to have an issue, are we?". She was SO rude and really embarrassed my niece in front of her young children. The food was okay, but I really wish we had just left.

Las Patronaz is a solid 4-star Mexican restaurant in the dusty small town of Pahrump, NV…read more My daughters' grandparents suggested this place since their number 1 Mexican establishment was closed on Sunday (November 23, 2025). Service was nice and welcoming. The colorful decor and variety of seating was appealing. + Raspberry Teas = $3.90 each + Coke = $3.90 + Strawberry Margarita = $9 + Jalapeno Margarita = $9 + #5 Beef Enchiladas Rancheras = $13.75 + #15 Beef Enchilada And Relleno = $13.25 (I did not love the red enchilada sauce at all. It was too sweet, but the relleno was the bomb!) + #1 Shrimp Tacos = $14.25 + #18 Flautas And Guacamole = $13.25 + #13 Ground Beef Taco And Spinach Enchilada = $13.25 + 1 Guacamole Half Order = $7.75 My other complaints were that I wasn't all that crazy about the location tucked sort of behind Walmart and I hoped for spicier salsa. Still, I would go back with family again for another jalapeno margarita (which was loaded with chopped jalapenos) and maybe try their albondigas.
