This review for Dr. Battaglia is long overdue…read more Dr. Battaglia was referred to me after I consulted another doctor (for something else entirely). My first appointment, I think it took me like... 2 to 3 months before I actually got to see Dr. Battaglia (found out why later). I figured it maybe worth it as my problem has been with me most of my life and I kind of refuse to be a mouth breather any further. When my appointment finally came, my first meeting was with his assistant (sorry I forgot your name) but I got to describe my problem and basically it has been a life long problem of mine. After listening for a bit, she proceeded to basically numb my nose so he can be seen with a small little camera. That is already far better than what my other ENT doctor has done by the way. While the little camera was snaking its way up both of my nostrils, I realized quickly that, I don't think it should be... FEELING it snake like that. When that was done, the assistant (not PA, actual assistant) showed me the video and I saw the problem with my own eyes. Can't really breathe normally when your nasal passage is touching (turbinate's) and other areas were so narrow it was not ideal. I was told to wait a little bit before Dr. Battaglia came, and when he did come in. We exchanged greetings, I did my best to explain things again but he took a look himself, even though the video was there. He said some medical terms that went completely over my head but I already know the gist of the problem I been having (since i just saw it). I know my parents, both have an issue similar to this (not sure how bad) but it was clear to me, at least for my case, it is a genetic problem. Was then given two options, keep doing what I been doing with over-the-counter medication (which was doing barely anything) or have surgery to correct my issue. Septoplasty and turbinate reduction. I agreed to the surgery on the spot, despite not knowing the risks or cost involved because I am way over dealing with not being able to breathe through my nose. Had one pre-op appointment (back in late December, 2025) which was brief. Dr. Battaglia said the operation is pretty straight forward (as he has done this plenty of times I'm sure). There is reason why he takes so long to visit because half of the week, he is doing surgery. Currently three and a half months post-surgery (end of January, 2026. Review for that is posted) and so far, I cannot be happier considering I been able to breathe like a normal person for once. First week was definitely a bit of a pain. Just what I been experiencing most of my like times two. It was that annoying but so far, it has been worth it. I am glad I went through with it. My other ENT doctor was no where as descriptive or helpful. Taking constant over the counter medication for obstruction in your nose is not a solution. Having a video to see for certain the problems I been dealing with all my life is a good way to tell me that what my other ENT doctor suggested was never going to work as my issue goes far deeper. Now, the surgery doesn't resolve my allergy problem but that's another story. If you ever need any advice, having actual proof shown to you by the doctor is always the best. So you can make your own decision.

Dr. Rieber ordered an adenoid X-ray, which was completed and reviewed. We were told that the adenoids appeared normal. During the appointment, I felt our concerns were dismissed rather quickly, and we were immediately offered a referral for a sleepy study rather than receiving a deeper investigation into the cause of her symptoms. Something didn't feel right, so I trusted my instincts and sought a second opinion from another ENT specialist in Orange County. I brought the exact same X-ray, and the specialist immediately noted that the adenoids appeared enlarged. A repeat X-ray was ordered to confirm the findings, and it showed that my daughter's adenoids were actually severely enlarged. As a parent, it is incredibly frustrating to learn that a significant issue may have been overlooked, especially when it contributed to a delay in diagnosis and treatment for a child who was already struggling. I also drove over an hour for this appointment, only to leave feeling unheard and without answers. My biggest disappointment was not just the diagnosis itself, but the feeling that our concerns were not given the time and attention they deserved. Parents know their children best, and when something feels wrong, those concerns should be taken seriously. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend Dr. Rieber.

Very good doctor, especially for kids! Dr Rieber did a tongue tie for my kid it is great!read more

After my surgery, I remember him repeatedly reassuring me, "We will take care of you, and if you need to stay extra days in the hospital to recover, we will make that happen for you." That reassurance meant so much to me during my recovery. His P.A., Kathy, was also wonderful. Anytime I texted her with a question or concern, she responded and made sure everything was addressed. My appointments were always on time, and the entire team was professional, caring, and attentive. Dr. Mendelsohn and his team are fantastic! Katie, Joy, Justin, and the other team members whose names I may have forgotten were all amazing and made my experience even better. Thank you, Dr. Mendelsohn and the entire team, for taking such great care of me. Speaking from my personal experience, I would highly recommend Dr. Mendelsohn and his team to anyone looking for a skilled, compassionate, and caring medical team!

They are so unprofessional and they don't care about their patients.

He is an excellent listener and knows exactly what needs to happen for your wellness. I walked in with great pain in both my ears. He methodically cared for each ear prescribed some medicine, smiled and said "You will be fine." His office is in a gym complex which is not conventional but who cares! No glitz and glamour which is not necessary and way overrated. There is ample parking and frankly it's the doctor you're looking for! Dr. Schwartz is a down to earth very experienced medical professional that will care for you. No need to make anything more complicated than that. A shout out also to Shanelle at the front desk. You will feel welcomed from the moment you call her and know she is smiling. A perfect team!
