Got a ding on the A pillar of my wife's Lamborghini Urus. As you are aware this is a structural area where the metal is extra hard with no access from behind. I like to keep an immaculate car and do my own detailing, ceramic coating and I've even dabbled in some glue pulling in the past. I was gutted when my worst nightmare happened - someone dropped a kayak down the side of my parked Tesla leaving three dents in a rear door. I've had a small dent in the rocker panel of my Porsche GT3 ever since it arrived off the boat from Porsche. The assessment by Porsche was that it was probably picked up during shipment of the boat to the USA. Pretty annoying... I had already had this looked at by Porsche but unfortunately they were not able to remove the dent, citing the location. They said it would be possible if they drilled a hole but given the car I decided I didn't want any holes drilled and left it as is.. Enter Ted's Dent Works, some 12+ months later. RJ recommended his work. What can I say, he's removed the dent.. Absolutely amazing given the previous unsuccessful attempts. It was in a really bad location and I've now got XPel paint protection film all over the car making it even harder to work on. The owner of CA Dent Works, Ted Martelle, did a FANTASTIC job on my 1965 Ford Mustang! The car has a 20K paint job and was dented at another shop (name withheld). Ted was able to roll out most of the dent by using special pry tools bewteen the door and glass window that was rolled down. He then used a small torch to heat the painted surface just enough to get the metal to move enough so that the rolling on the inside was pliable. As you can see from my pictures (before and after) he was successful. And this is a special Dupont paint black in color! He pays special attention to detail, and understands how paint and metal work with each other to achieve a great outcome. This saved me from repainting the entire door which would have been costly due to the high end paint on this car and trying to match it with the rest of the vehicle. I then had him come back out and remove some fish eyes in the paint, swirl marks, and some runs in the clear. He was able to use 3000 Grit orbital buffing pads and water to achieve perfection yet again. CA Dent Works is THE PLACE to take your cars to for dent and paint work. read more

Alright so I had just bought my new 2010 camaro and not even a month into it, I got a fist sized dent on a body line of the front side panel....man was I pissed. Worst part is 4 out of 5 dent places (got from yelp) said either they couldn't do it, or would do it for $200 but it would only look 90%-95% improved. I stumbled on California Dent works and he quoted me $300, at first I thought damn it's so much more, but I'd thought I'd call to see why it was so expensive. Spoke to Ted, who I believe is the owner, and he confidently said he would make it as good as new, and that I probably got quoted half his price for something mediocre. Accidents happen. My Prius and I had an unfortunate encounter with a pole in a parking garage. What seemed like a brief "love tap" from the driver's seat was worse than I thought.
