I also had an excellent experience with TEG (Tom Tsvetkov. 404-452-7910 tegrepipe.com). - I received three estimates. TEG's was close to another quote; both were about 1/2 the estimate of the third. Tom estimated the work to take 5 days. - I received a contract via email that evening and we scheduled work for about two weeks later. - Tom and Ron arrived each day as expected (8-8:30), and the work was completed in five days. They patched and painted the drywall that had to be removed. - PEX was installed with only a few small cuts to the drywall. To reach the upstairs bathrooms they ran pipe through the attic which helped minimize the cuts. - Throughout the project Tom was professional and all business. He kept me informed of the progress and took time to answer all my questions. Any decision points were discussed with me. - We always had at least one shower and toilet available in the afternoons and evenings. For us we had the master bath facilities working each evening. - For an additional reasonable cost he replaced one shower and one sink fixture. - He acquired the necessary permit from Cobb County and the replumbing work was inspected upon completion. - I've had two questions post-completion and Tom responded within 24 hours So overall, this was an extremely satisfying home improvement/repair experience. TEG (TEG Repipe) replaced all the polybutylene pipe in my house. They did a great job. The first day they planned what they would do. They found a better way to run the pipes than the original plumbing. They taped off areas and used plastic to contain any dust. They cut only the holes needed in the ceilings and walls. The next day they removed all the old polybutylene refitted the entire house with new PEX-A. The same night the water was back on and working great. This included 3 new shower valves and all the other fittings needed for the sinks, refrigerator, toilets, utility tub, washer and dryer, etc. The county inspection was a formality since everything was done just right. After the inspection, TEG repaired all the holes that were cut. The sheetrock repair does take a few days since proper drying is needed when repairing sheetrock. Then, the walls and ceilings were repainted to the exact color. I know where the holes were made, and I cannot see any sign that they were ever there. I would highly recommend TEG. We just completed a repipe with TEG due to 9 pinhole leaks in copper pipes. After quoting with Delta Mechanical and Plumbing Express, we selected TEG. Delta was only a 1 yr warranty with PEX 1798 pipes. Plumbing Express was a 10 yr warranty with CPVC pipes. TEG uses Uponor PEX-A pipes. Tom was detailed, professional, hardworking, efficient, courteous and trustworthy. He repiped our house over 5 workdays. When the Cobb County inspector came, he commented that Tom is a perfectionist, and he does some things that are above code because he feels that it is needed. The TEG van is the most organized work van that I have ever seen; it is a great indicator of his working style. TEG pricing was competitive and worth every penny for the quality of work completed. Due to pinhole leaks in our interior copper water pipes, we repiped our entire house. Tom Tsvetkov with TEG did an outstanding job in making the replacement. Unlike other plumbing contractors, TEG repaired and repainted all cuts in the drywall necessary to install the new plumbing. They did an excellent job each day putting down drop cloths to protect my floors and cleaning up each day and after job completion. When they left the job was totally done. The only thing I can say about TEG, Tom and his associate, they were outstanding! I had to have my entire home replumbed due to pin holes in my copper pipes. I should have done this 5 years ago and I would have saved a lot of money. Tom was able to evaluate where he needed to cut drywall and did his work like a surgeon. TEG replaced our copper pipes with PEX pipe after we experienced 4 pin hole leaks over the course of two years. The project required replacing all the copper pipe and drywall repair for where the access points had to be cut. The turnkey job took from beginning to end 6 days.
