The proprietors are the sweetest people. My family was visiting from out of state for the Christmas break and had a hankering for pie so we brought them here. We left with at least three whole pies! And some single serving pie slices! And a wonderful gift from the owners! There were only seven of us, but, all of that pie got eaten. And they were delicious. Oh my goodness all the reviews were right this place is divine , I could've stayed hours looking at all the beautiful gift sets they have . While I shopped for gifts my husband was purchasing pies , I couldn't believe he bought 3 pies for the two of us lol. Peach , key lime and the popular Tehachaberry pie , yes we tried all three and the berry was the best , but all were so delicious. I also got vanilla chai tea and it was so good, the ladies that run this place are simply amazing, they really go out of there way here to give you the best experience . I went there today and yes the shop is spectacular I could of spent all day looking around. I purchased the chocolate peanut butter cream pie. I was expecting more then what it was. I had small ribbons of peanut butter on the top and the filling tasted like chocolate Jello pudding. The banana cream pie filling tasted like vanilla pudding with chunks of banana. Not what I expected for $18 dollars a pie. I was given a sample of the key lime pie and that really tasted good. I will definetly go back for other items like honey, tea, and I am sure I will find more that I want. I will have to pass on the pies though :( read more

We stopped in and I was surprised by the diverse amount of fresh baked goods. We were greeted by an older female who was happy to explain what each pie was and how to bring them home. We purchased a peach cream pie, a tehachaberry pie, a slice of key lime, a slice of lemon, a slice of reese's peanut butter cheesecake tart, a loaf of blueberry lemon bread. Not only do they have pie, tarts, cheesecake, and to go dinners, they also have tea cup gifts, loose leaf tea, honey, flavored salts and peppers, balsamic and olive oils, decorated cookie gifts. They have so much that I couldn't look at everything. The owners are so sweet and helpful. They gave me some honey samples and a sample of this creamy lemon tart that was to die for!! My wife and I went there on a spur of the moment. The shop had multiple items for purchase, not just pies. We enjoyed the pleasant conversation we had with the staff. They share their knowledge about the different products. They had oils, spices, pies, gifts, and a whole lot more. We took home a whole pie and a couple of slices to eat right then. Came here on a whim bc we saw the billboard on our way in from vegas. I love fresh pies. I found the place on Google Maps and it took it into a neighborhood. The parking lot is small but you can also park on the street. It was very busy inside so I thought that was a good sign. They had several sweet and savory pies available along with jams, teas and other random items for sale. We ended up getting a French apple pie and a coconut cream pie since it's my MIL's fave and we were driving into SoCal to celebrate her bday. Fast forward to the eating of the pies- they were meh. We had my mil's pie after dinner- stuck candles in it and everything but it did not hit the spot like I imagined. Later that evening my kids wanted to eat the French apple pie and yikes, I have never seen them take a bite of a pie and not finish it. It wasn't sweet at all! It even had a crumble topping- which are normally sugar-filled. Idk, maybe these pies are for people who don't like sweet pies? I had to check their yelp to see what others said and yep, their pies don't seem to be made with much sugar. The crust is thin and pale. I was unsure if we were supposed to bake it ourselves? This is half boutique and half pies/foods. The boutique is a nice shop to pick up something fun or a gift for someone else. I often pop in here for a hostess gift or thank you gift. They make pies (of course) as well as some other foods. Because I'm gluten-free and dairy-free, this limits me... but I'm SO happy they always have a safe pie I can buy. (And I have never had a gluten reaction to their GF items.) Their gluten-free dairy-free apple pie has been a bit bland for me. So I recently opted for their berry pie and WOW it did not disappoint! The berry pie was nice and flavorful!!! I bake as suggested by doing an egg wash on top, and that gives the top crust a really nice texture. I've also had their GF breads (because they sometimes have GF ones that are also dairy-free) and they are super yummy. The prices are a bit high, so I don't splurge too often. But I'm grateful there is safe pie for me when I really want it. read more

Cheesecake only review. I hate to leave such a bad review, because I love little shops like this. However, my experience with the cheesecake that I purchased was so below my expectations, that I wanted to pass this review along so that someone didn't make the mistake I did. I had heard a lot of good things about their pies and that was my original intention was to buy a pie. However, when I got there, they had some beautiful photos of cheesecakes and decided to get three slices. I purchased a slice of Oreo, Berry, and Peanut Butter. They were very small slices of cheesecake and $10 each, which seemed to be quite a lot, but I figured that they must be really exceptional and was willing to pay the price. All three of the slices had some level of freezer burn along the edges and the Berry had such bad freezer burn that it was basically inedible. I should've stuck with my original plan and got only pies. read more

We were staying at a local hotel so they provided plates, napkins, Ava forks for our hotel room since we wanted to eat the pie later. Quaint little shop with other food items and gifts. Wow! I wish I could've tried every single piece of pie! You can buy whole pies or buy the slice. There's only one thing that would've made my pie better and that's if I could've heated it up. I didn't ask if they could because I was in a hurry. Absolutely scrumptious pie. I purchased two bottles of their balsamic vinegar. One bottle of blueberry for spring and summer salad and a Vermont maple to go with my spinach salads with bacon and pecans. As you walk in it feels like you've just arrived at a party. Such a cute spot in Tehachapi!! I drove specifically over here to try out this spot. I heard it was THE spot for pie. My husband approves (I got him the French apple pie). I also bought some of their shortbread cookies, SO good! Though the one I bought had a lavender flower design and didn't realize it would actually taste like lavender so that threw me off a little, but the cookie was still really good!! I got some of their honey as well, and it was good! They gave out some samples of jam (pear jam) and it was so good I had to buy a jar of that too! The staff there is super knowledgeable and helpful! Feminine energy enveloped every customer entering this pie and gift shop and didn't let go until the customer succumbed or somehow gave the slip and got away. My male companions had enough within 10 minutes and fled outside while I stayed and looked carefully at their merchandise. At the well-stocked pie refrigerator near the entrance, I was accosted by an earnest saleswoman who thoughtfully ran through the list of pies and cheesecakes available. The whole pies were boxed so they weren't visible but I was taken aback by how deflated and pale the sliced pies were. Perhaps they were meant to be taken home to be baked further. Unfortunately, they didn't look enticing enough for an impulse buy. When I moved to the next pie section, I was followed by the same saleswoman who explained the offerings in that refrigerator and reiterated that everything was baked on premises. I wondered how long ago the baking occurred since there were no savory pie smells in the shop. I next moved to the tea section where there were various forms of flavored teas packaged together with teacups and saucers. Another friendly sales lady popped up at the tea station and offered help in case I needed it. I didn't. My last perusal was in the section that displayed a variety of hot drink containers for use in the car. I could have used one, but the flowery, colorful choices were too chubby for my cup holder. I go here every Friday to bring the family pies and other goodies. This place is always stocked up and always ready to go when I get there. I try to get there early Friday because most of the things I like are gone. Here are a few of my favorites The cherry pie, pecan pie, berry pie, the berry pie with blueberries, the strawberry pie, the peach pie, the apple pie, and the chicken pot pie. All of those are my favorites, and I've yet to cover the spectrum of what they have in the store. They have fudge they have jellies jams candies and more. I went into Tehachapie for the first time Monday and my experience was horrendous. I will never be stepping foot in that establishment ever again. It started with the owner Margret harassing me and the other members of people with me . I felt pressured to but I pie and get out quickly. When i assured her that im ok with not needing any assistance she get bothering me and my group please for the love of god never step in foot in that nasty ass pie place also the pies are disgusting and dry as hell !!! read more

Great pies, desserts, and wonderful frozen meals. The cheesecake is delicious! They make several balsamic vinegars and flavored olive oils which they purchase from Italy. They add flavorings to them. I purchased a small bottle to try; delicious! You might have trouble finding the location because the GPS says it's on the right and it's across the street on the left. There is basically no signage that you can see from the street. I love a challenge so I found the location. read more

After two failed attempts at great good & customer service in small town Tehachapi we decided to try a dessert place & boy amazing hospitality, food samples and delicious tasting food all around. We bought 3 Pies and they were all delish my favorite were Triple Berry and Coconut Cream. The Italian balsamic vinegar straight from Italy was epic. So many flavors to choose from - we opted for the Wild Raspberry which was great on salads & on bread. We also picked up some triple berry jam & local wildflower honey. All amazing tastes. There are no stairs but the aisles are close together and a very small place wheelchairs will not fit. Very friendly people and great bakery chef. Kudos! read more

I have not been able to visit this location. But my sister was generous enough to bring by a chicken pot pie home for us to try! I am happy to report that the pie was delicious. The pie was frozen and came with instructions. I did a simple egg wash on it and baked it for about 45 minutes. The flavors were delicious and the crust was perfect. She also brought me a strawberry jalapeño jam which i used on a everything bagel with cream cheese. Perfect sweet and savory flavor with very little heat. My boyfriend and I recently went to TehachaPie to buy a pie for our anniversary and who I believe was the owner Margaret was very pushy and obliviously trying to solicit us and it felt like harassment. We stopped here on our way back from Vegas. My wife is a pie connoisseur... she was NOT disappointed! We had a slice of the strawberry rhubar and shared it there on the tables outside. So good! The crust is amazing. Not too crumbly and not too sweet. Pair's perfect with the fillings. We bought two more full pies to take with us... cherry and triple berry. Both were amazing. They also have a tasting station of olive oil and balsamic vinegars that they make themselves. We bought tuscan herb olive oil and apricot white balsamic.
