View and Live music June 2026

Ambiance: The rooftop has a great vibe and a wonderful view of the Houston skyline! We were there about an hour, and the band was setting up the whole time. We didn't get to hear any live music unfortunately! It was hot outside, but the rooftop had a large fan above to keep everyone cool as best as they could! Service: We ordered our beer and appetizer at the bar and one of the staff will bring the food out when it's ready. Food: I ordered the fried pickles and honestly was not impressed at all. The pickles were greasy and didn't have a lot of flavor. The portion was also very small considering the price. Overall, I'd recommend passing on this appetizer.

We came out on a Wednesday evening. The weather was perfect! Our goal was steak and socializing. They have enough parking in their lot to accommodate a week day crowd, and street parking whenever it goes overboard. They how to borrow on every floor, so there's usually plenty of space in the place to serve the masses. We camped out on the third floor balcony, and took over a table for seven. In addition to their normal menu, they have a seasonal cocktail list. They also have different evening themes like trivia, steak, or bingo. On various nights. We came for steak night. Cost wise and options, it comes across very well. However, they don't season their steaks at all. Or at least they didn't. On this particular night. I had to go and get packets of salt and pepper just to have some flavor. It was cooked exactly as it should be, it just had zero flavor. Do not recommend. The flavor was not changed at all by the chimichurri sauce, or garlic butter. Neither of those toppings had a lot of flavor either. It's really more oily than anything. Drink wise, I can rate highly. They're old fashioned from a solid, they had a seasonal gin cocktail that was pretty good, and I had a decent core of a 12-year whiskey that I enjoyed neat. They also have whiskey Wednesdays, which are $3 off any whiskey. Not a bad deal. I also had their seasonal winter Belgian and it was very good.

It doesn't matter how far back you and Houston go, there is always a new place to check out. The area around Winter Street Studios and the Silos has really changed in the last 5 years also and Tejas Brewery is one of the newer places. This place is actually a lot bigger than I expected and has a good sized area dedicated to brewing along with a nice ground level for kids/dogs etc. and a very nice 3rd floor patio with a great video of the skyline (well at least for now until someone else builds something in front of it). Their beer is pretty good but their food offerings and other cocktails are apparently exceptional according to the other people in my group. I wasn't sure what to expect so I already ate before I came but after looking at the street tacos and even their salad, I regretted my decision.

Great views. Great beer choices. Food is decent. Bar food so it's ok. The nachos with birria are good. Great views of the city. Plenty of fans. Plenty of seating. It's a good place to watch the game and meet up with friends. Service could have been slightly better but it was ok.

The views are what I enjoyed the most here. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have different daily specials along with happy hour specials. I did post a picture of both for my reference for later along with yelps. lol

I've been here 3 times for our monthly Book Club Meeting and love it. First of all, they have free parking which is a huge plus. As soon as you walk in, you can take either the stairs or elevator to the second floor and you can then sit indoors or outdoors with a great view of the city. Even though they are a brewery, they have delicious cocktails and I recommend the Tejas Bramble (Bluebonnet Gin, blackberry, lemon juice). For my meal, I've had the Loaded Nachos (Tejas Negra queso, refried beans, cabbage, pickled onion, chilis, pico de gallo, salsa verde, queso fresco, crema, cilantro) twice and will most likely order them again. Service is okay. I will be back!

I went to a social event there. They had offered a free brewery tour for the first few folks who attended. While I was offered a tour, I'm not into beer so didn't take one. Our gathering was on the third floor. The view of Downtown is spectacular. The live music was too loud so it was hard to have a conversation. You order at the bar but the food is brought to your table. I ordered a Caesar salad with no added protein. I found it pricey for the quantity served. It's $14. There's plenty of free parking and that's a plus.

I loved this brewery! The beer flight I got was really good and such a good deal, and a great way to try several beers. However, the fried mac and cheese elote balls I got had barely any elote in it (maybe one kernel of corn) which was a bit disappointing as that was the appeal to me. There is a huge parking lot which is a plus!

the service was fast and direct. the cocktail was similar to other cocktails that i've had before and at a decent price. i think the best thing about tejas brewery is it's location and view. the ambiance is very open and welcoming.

This is a great hang out spot or even a date night spot. The first floor has a bar and does tours. Second floor has a full sit down restaurant. Third floor is the roof top with a bar and amazing view. You can also get food on the third floor but have to order it at the bar. Every staff member I encountered was super friendly and seemed happy to be there. The old fashion was really good and went down nice and smooth. The burger was perfect. Super juicy and had that homemade taste. The fries were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. No complaints at all. I will definitely be back soon.

Food: did not order food. Beers- Hefe was nice. Would prefer more citrus flavor My date's comments: Amber- smells malty but flavor does not match the nose. Festbier- "I don't remember" of purpose was to be festive was not memorable. Service: lovely! Attentive but not overbearing. Reminded us happy hour was ending soon so we could get in our orders. Ambience- bummer that 3rd floor patio was closed for private event :-( second floor patio- very loud w train, bit of exhaust at times. Be forewarned.

We had a great first visit to Tejas Brewery! Everything we tried was so tasty. I got a beer flight and honestly couldn't even pick a favorite--they were all that good. My boyfriend got the coffee porter and really loved it too. We also ordered the elote mac and cheese balls, and they were delicious (the marinara sauce they were served with was such a good touch). The staff was super friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. The location is awesome with a nice view of downtown, and they had tons of specials going on. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to!

Tejas Brewery is truly a gem with a space that's absolutely breathtaking. The first floor is the brewery and a spacious outdoor that's perfect for your furry friends. The second floor features a full-service restaurant, and the third floor takes you up to the rooftop with one of the most stunning view of the Houston skyline. A perfect afternoon would be exploring the exhibits at Silver Street Studios located right next door, then heading to Tejas Brewery to watch the sunset with a refreshing beer in hand. I'm looking forward to return with my family and friends to catch their live music events and trying out their hot food items. My only critique was that the beer wasn't cold as I would liked, especially when you are craving a crisp and refreshing drink. That doesn't take away from the experience, I would recommend Tejas Brewery to anyone that's looking for great time.

They also have dog bowls and water for your pups if needed. The bartender/owner was great, she let me try a beer before committing and checked on me several times during my stay there. It's nice to see they added more seating and more personal touches to the place. They were having smoked wings. 6 for $10 or 10 for $15. Comes with chips, carrots/celery and ranch. They were quite smokey, a lil salty but still delicious. The vibes are chill and they had football on. All and all a great place to stop by for a beer.

We ended up being mostly the only ones in the brew house for most of the evening which was a surprise, we enjoyed the beers and the service. There is a local brewery that is inside the brew house, Turkey Forrest Brewing. We enjoyed the hazy IPA, cream ale, and a watermelon tajin ale they had on tap. They also have beers and canned beverages from a variety of other places and popular canned drinks too, to suit any preference. My boyfriend and I had a really fun time playing board games they had available and chilling out. There were also Halloween movies and a playlist playing. Seems like we were there on a slow night, they appear to have events throughout the week such as a run club and bingo nights. Definitely a fun, chill option in the area!

It's a nice lowkey neighborhood spot with a bar and outdoor seating as well. The ambiance was chill and casual which I am all for. They are pet friendly as I got to see some fur babies come in which is always nice. We started with some glasses of Cabernet and told our waiter we were celebrating my birthday. The food didn't take long to come out and was so darn good. It was probably one of the best steak nights I've had in a while. We had the ribeyes, mash potato, mac and cheese, green beans, and French fries. The steak was seasoned perfectly and grilled to the perfect temperature to my liking. We are still talking about it, I can't wait to come back and try their chimichurri sauce. We ended with the strawberry and Cinnamon Toast Crunch cheese cake.
