Chicken Quesadilla on top and chicken flautas on bottom

I've been to Te'kila once before but only for drinks! This time we got food and it was good! I got the chicken flautas from the appetizers because I wasn't that hungry and my friend got the Chicken quesadilla, both were good. The service was good and fast, we watched the Colombia vs Portugal game. The ambience is nice, they have indoor and outdoor dressing and lots of tvs to watch sports! They do add an 18% gratuity fee to every check! It's on Hollywood blvd so parking is a bit rough, we thankfully found street parking!

We stopped in during Pride & had a great time. Service from Alisha was fantastic. It was crowded & chaotic due to the parade but she was still friendly & attentive. The food was delicious & the drinks strong. If you ever find yourself on Hollywood Blvd craving Mexican food, this is a good stop.

We were enjoying a taco Tuesday and this was our second stop of the day. Really enjoy this place as it has quality food and nice decor. I sure liked my chicken street tacos from the happy hour menu and was a good place to enjoy them on this taco Tuesday. The server was attentive and helpful, and we enjoyed the unique decor of this place, really has its own feel. This place is great if you wanna sit right on the sidewalk and eat and drink with all the action that comes along. we enjoyed our visit and look forward to returning soon!

Came here for happy hour after work on a Thursday. I found parking at a meters on the side street across from Te'kila. It was pretty quiet, not alot going on like back in the day. The bar adds 18% automatic gratuity to all bills. The bartender was nice and gave me everything I asked for. It was a chill time, nothing major to report. I got a well gin with club soda, tasty. A margarita which was good as well and the nachos without meat. No complaints just in and out.

Was in the area to watch the Hollywood holiday parade, and had some time to eat before it started, so we popped in to Te'Kila to grab something to eat. Sat at the bar and got things started. Luckily it was happy hour, so tacos and margaritas were on deck. Grabbed a mango margarita and a strawberry mango margarita. They were pretty basic, tequila tasted like it was bottom shelf, and the flavor was ok. Nothing amazing. Tacos were also hot and miss. The carne asada had nice flavor to it while the carnitas tasted like they needed some seasoning. Overall, can only comment on the happy hour for, but get the carne asada tacos, skip the carnitas and maybe get a margarita with better tequila.

Great Mexican restaurant! The fajitas were amazing--fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The carne asada fries were some of the best I've had, loaded with delicious toppings and generous portions. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive

AUTO GRATUITY OF 18% WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR CHECK WITHOUT NOTICE! This place is okay, it's a casual "sit yourself" spot. One thing I found a bit odd was the tacos only came with meat. There was no lettuce, onion, cilantro, cheese, etc to come with it. I would've rated this spot higher if the tacos came with toppings.

This is THE place to be for a Seahawks game. Football aside... the staff is always very friendly and prices are great for the area. Food is mediocre, BUT it's affordable, so I cannot complain. Best happy hour beer deals in the area.

DELICIOUS food! STRONG drinks!!! An AMAZING happy hour menu which is all week and even all day on Sunday's! Happy hour items are limited but even the price of their regular items isn't that bad! $16 for a huge wet burrito! $50 in total for two meals with a lot of food & Two alcoholic drinks! And that's including tip in which they do charge an automatic 18% gratuity fee to every check. Service was awesome! Very attentive, they weren't super busy, inside is a very divey vibe, with Christmas lights, pop music on the tv's, cool art, it definitely matched Hollywood which is perfect cause it's right on the Hollywood walk of fame! Love this place and will definitely be coming back!

The Food is good. The fajitas are excellent I get a combo of beef and shrimp and it is always delicious. Margaritas is big and strong and they have wide variety of tequila to choose from. The service is great, Victor, Victor #2 and Marina are awesome.

    More hair

Let me start by saying I love this restaurant I have been coming for years. Most of the workers know me or have seen my face. I usually order the buffalo wings and a frozen margarita....as you can see in the photos I demolished my wings but was very disappointed and disgusted to find a long piece of thick hair wrapped around one of the last three wings left and buried in the sauce. I called the location, asked for management and spoke with Francelli who said that the manager was not in. She said I could come with a receipt and get a new order which is cool but hairnets for cooks would be even better.

Everything!!! It wasn't fit for a Dog!!! Enchilada was dry, the black beans clearly came from a can (rinsed and served) the rice was decent and the Margarita was delish!! I had to ask for chips and salas!?!? Most Mexican restaurants provide chips and salsa almost before you can sit do, well not this place plus they charge you without warning!!

    Frozen Margarita (Strawberry)
    Kia A.

I had a great experience dining here with dear friends! We ordered the same drink, Frozen Margarita (strawberry) and it is the best I have tasted so far! The strawberry flavor is strong but you can also feel and taste the alcohol. The foods are simple but they are great because they are prepared well! Their chicken Fajita, Elote, rice, beans, and meat, and the spicy salsa are good!!! Service is swift and the staff are professional and accommodating! I recommend this place.

They do not take reservations at this location. I just had the same experience with the looping back to the Yelp page. When I called they informed me.

Shirley Brasserie, the restaurant referred to above, is also located in The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel (located next to The Lobby). The "iconic" they refer to is the fact that this hotel is historic -- it was built in 1926 during the Golden Era of Los Angeles architecture. It is named after Theodore Roosevelt. The first Academy Awards (Oscars) was held here in 1929. The hotel had its ups and downs since then but currently it looks beautiful and thriving. Take your out-of-state visiting friends/relatives to this place. Because this is a big part of "Hollywood". I recommend The Lobby to hang out after a long day's work or after a nice dinner nearby. This is where my sister and I went after our dinner at Musso and Frank. My sister ordered their Espresso Martini which was really good. I had a beer. Our server wasn't as warm as the ones during my visit in 2023. I think she was an introvert or a bit of a nervous person. But she did not seem potentially horrible. Restroom: I did not go to the restroom this time. I think there was a line. But I remember back in 2023 that you had to ask for a key or a code. Which is understandable for this area. Parking: I recommend the valet parking. If validated, the fee is really reasonable (I forgot how much they charged). We got ours validated because we ordered those drinks from The Lobby.

It's one of Hollywood's older bars, with real history behind it--reportedly frequented by classic Hollywood figures back in the day--and it even shows up as a filming location in movies like Ed Wood and others. There's a certain weight to that when you're sitting inside; it doesn't feel like a modern, over-polished bar, but more like something that's been part of the city for a long time. The patio is one of the best parts. It feels private and tucked away, almost like a hidden courtyard where you can actually relax without the usual Hollywood noise. Inside, the vibe leans into an old gothic aesthetic--dark, moody, and atmospheric in a way that works really well for the space. Drinks are reasonably priced for the area, and they usually have solid specials going on, which makes it more approachable than most spots nearby. The food, on the other hand, is pretty average--nothing special, but it does the job if you need bar food while drinking. That said, you don't really come here for the food anyway. The ambiance is where this place really stands out. It has that classic, slightly gritty old-Hollywood feel--dim lighting, neon glow, and a no-frills setup that makes it feel authentic rather than curated. It's the kind of place where you instantly feel like you've stepped into a different era. The crowd is usually chill and mixed--locals, regulars, and people who actually know what the place is instead of just stumbling in from the Walk of Fame. Even though this restaurant is a bar restaurant located in the Loews Hotel, the dishes are a lot more elevated and high-quality than I expected when compared to bar food. Food was actually very good. I didn't realize that food was Asian-Mexican fusion, but I have to say the mixture of flavors worked very well together. We ordered spicy tuna nigiri tacos, birria gyozas, skirt steak with Viet chimichurri sauce, ceviche, short-rib tacos, scallops with spicy hominy, and chai brownie for dessert. Every dish had great flavors and were seasoned very well. Steak was cooked perfectly and seafood quality tasted fresh. Hibiscus cocktail was also very tasty and refreshing. My only callouts were the chips for the ceviche were stale and the brownie was quite dry. Service was great. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive, checking on us constantly. Food pace was also well-timed and came out accordingly. The reason why I give this place a 4-star is because of the ambience. This bar restaurant is attached to the lobby and it can get very loud and rowdy with hotel guests sitting around. It would be better if the restaurant was separate from the lobby area to provide a more personal and less noisy dining experience.
