The fajita sizzling plate had a generous portion with guac as one of the sides, along with rice, beans and salsa. We also had a taco trio, which also had generous portions of meat for the size. Food generally is on the milder side so ask for additional hot sauce or Tapatio sauce if you prefer it a little spicier. For the chicken wings our favorite was the buffalo sauce, followed by the tequila lime sauce, followed by what was called a barbecue sauce, but closer to catsup and sweet chili sauce. The (on-cob) or off cob Elote is very rich with creamy mayonnaise and Cotija cheese. The three tacos Trio is good served on fried tortillas and a little less expensive during happy hour, which runs from 5 to 8 PM Monday through Fridays and all day Sunday. Service was very good considering how busy this place can get. But everyone's very friendly and accommodating. Ask the couple try to explain to him where they wanted to see he shouted at them I don't understand you. And followed be telling them to get the **** out. They were never rude to him they just wanted to sit in a different seat. I asked myself to sit at a seat where I can watch the game and was told no because the table was meant for 3 and not 2 ppl. I just said okay although he was very rude to me as well. I also want to make it a point to say I stayed at the restaurant from 5-8pm enjoying the baseball game and my dinner and during the entire timeframe the seat the couple ask to seat in was never sat. It was not busy and there were multiple 3/4 top tables open. I only stayed because of how much I enjoy the wings here and my waitress is always so kind. So I visited Tekila for the second time and it was a completely different experience compared to my first visit. The first time I dined in, I encountered a server with an attitude and never even smiled, which left a bad taste in my mouth. However, I decided to give the place another chance cause the food it good and I'm so glad I did. On my second visit, the waitress was a lot nicer and friendlier, can't member her name bit I think is was Alishaa, completely turned things around. What stood out the most was her honesty opinion when I ask for recommendations. She didn't just recommend the most expensive items instead gave us honest suggestions based on our preferences and that is what I really liked when dinning to hear from a waitress who genuinely cared about our satisfaction rather than just trying to upsell us stuff. The flour tortillas were heavenly, some of the best tortillas I've had. This would be a 3* review if it weren't for those tortillas. Soft, plentiful, grilled lightly I think. Just delicious. The Lime Shrimp was very flavorful and limey, and buttery. I liked it. By the end it seemed like too much butter, but it wasn't super problematic. The fresh chopped pico blend mixed in with the big juicy shrimp and buttery sauce was quite good. The rice and beans next to it weren't slouching either. My dining companion loved his frozen margarita. He had 1 fish taco, 1 steak taco, 1 pastor taco. The pastor was the best, and the fish taco fell apart - the tortilla sogged underneath a cabbage slaw. Since we were a fairly large group we got a table and the interior spacing was very generous. Didn't feel squished at all and the lighting also helped set the mood.
