Passed by this and many of the bars/restaurants on Cahuenga Boulevard but this time I wanted to try out Tribute Hollywood. This bar/restaurant was packed because of the FIFA soccer games yet my friend and I arrived as a table was leaving so we had to experience this cool place. Tribute Hollywood has several televisions, lots of high top seating and a bar with hanging plants right in the middle of the space. The menu has lots of delicious food and drink options. It was happy hour so my friend and I ordered several things to share. You order at the bar. The two bartenders were working hard making amazing drinks very fast and taking food orders. We got a number and sat back down with our drinks. The food came out fast and hot. We got the chicken wings, fries, chicken quesadilla and fried veggies. Tribute sits where one of my favorite restaurants , Kitchen24 , used to be . The walls are lined with pictures of the history of this locale from glorious yesteryears ,. I love that the bar is located in the center of the venue which creates a very lively atmosphere. I visited on a Thursday afternoon and the crowd was very age diverse . Their Paloma drinks are very deliciously strong! We paired them up with finger licking buffalo wings . Will definitely be going back '! read more

The food was delicious! I ordered the pineapple chicken wings and chicken tacos! The wings were crunchy and had the most perfect flavor! I ordered chicken tacos as a lettuce wrap, but there was a confusion. Raul was very sweet and gave me a free lettuce wrapped tacos because of the mistake! First time here, I heard the wings were good. So I tried them with a Cesar salad. The wings seem just ok. No big deal. The service was not great. We had never been here before, but decided to come by and check out the happy hour. We got there right when they opened and the place was nice and peaceful. I got a feeling this place gets pretty busy in the evening as it seems to be mostly a bar, but they also have quite a few items available. I thoroughly enjoyed my hazy IPA, as I properly couldn't see my fingers through it, and my friend enjoyed her skinny margarita, saying it was made just right! We enjoyed playing with our cheese sticks and seeing who could get the longest cheese pull, obviously she won, lol! Sooooo on Wednesday 5/14 at midnight, I came here to order wings and drinks and the guy working behind the bar was extremely rude and gave creepy misogynistic vibes. He was also blatantly drinking behind the bar and appeared intoxicated and/or under the influence of something while working, which is completely unprofessional and raises serious concerns about responsible alcohol service. First, he did not want to take our order. He told us they were closing. Then he told us if we weren't ordering then yeah they're closing, but if we were ordering then they're not. We told him we wanted wings and drinks. Instead of taking the order, he starts telling me my girlfriend is hot and that he'll take her. We awkwardly laughed it off and asked what drinks he recommended. He said he wasn't making some of the drinks that were literally on the menu, including the mezcal drink and tequila drink. I then tried to order wings with ranch and he ignored that too and continued hitting on my girlfriend. Then he said his girl was hotter and started showing us pictures. At that point we brushed it off again and asked if we could actually order or not because what is going on? Instead, he walks away, takes our menus, and kicks us out. We asked to speak to the manager and he said he was the manager. Mind you, I've heard plenty of stories about this guy giving bottles away for free and being an asshole to customers. I've always had a great experience here, but I will not be back unless he is removed. I don't feel comfortable and neither does my girlfriend (or several other people). He also made comments about being better looking than me, which was just bizarre. What type of establishment is this where the employee refuses to do his job and instead spends the entire interaction sexually harassing a customer's girlfriend? It's really disgusting and I'm disappointed because I actually enjoyed this place. I don't feel comfortable coming back, especially because I don't know when he's working and I don't want my girlfriend being harassed by him again. She was literally in sweatpants. We also had witnesses who saw the entire interaction and even came over afterward to talk to us because they could tell how uncomfortable and inappropriate the situation was. Like wow. read more

I got a blood orange ginger beer and my friend ordered a seltzer on draft and $1 wings. She really liked the wings and they honestly looked great. I met a cougar at a bar in Claremont. She was married, so when we decided to hang out, it had to be somewhere we wouldn't get caught. We picked Tribute because I really liked the ambiance. Good lighting, and a nice open space. My date especially liked that she could escape through the back if necessary. Ryan, the bartender greeted us and right off the bat, we felt welcomed. I started with the Ramble on cocktail, which was balanced, refreshing and absolutely delicious. Ryan had a great presence and excellent customer service. Didn't even flinch when my date ducked behind the menu every time someone in a polo walked in. The lady friend, who sat two seats over, had a Peppers & Peaches IPA from Claremont Craft. I grew up in the Inland Empire, so it was nice to to see their beer in Hollywood. She didn't cheers me because she said it looked sus. We both ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich. It was absolutely delicious and I gobbled it down in seconds. The breading was perfectly seasoned and the chicken was tender, the pickled onion and slaw took it to another level of delicious. I will absolutely be back in a month when her husband is out of town again. I stopped by this bar after work one day and was immediately welcomed by two outstanding hosts by the name of Joey and Raul. Their hospitality and skill in crafting cocktails make every visit genuinely enjoyable. In the middle of Hollywood. where things can sometimes feel a bit unsafe, their customer service stands out for being warm, attentive, and making you feel completely at ease. The drinks are consistently excellent; well-balanced, well-made, and exactly to my liking. The building also has a great history, previously serving as a recording studio before being transformed into a bar that now offers weekly events and promotions including their worthwhile happy hour that goes up until 8pm. The food especially their wings and pepper jack sticks are incredible. I never thought pepper jack sticks could beat mozzarella sticks, but they absolutely do. I haven't had bacon wrapped dates in a couple of years- they were delicious. Boyfriend and I are Tequila snobs. We don't do 1942 or Casa Azul. We look for additive free, smaller batch tequila. They had El Tesoro which is a good sipping tequila. Wish they would have had an Anejo. We ordered the reposado served Neat. We also enjoyed the Cider that they have. It was refreshing.
