Shout out to our great waiter Joseph!! After doing such a great job, we found out at the end of the…read moremeal Joseph had only been there for two weeks. I was highly impressed. I've been here quite a few times. These last two times I went I got the prime rib and both times it was delicious. My dad and his wife Sharon also got the prime rib, but they got theirs marinated. This is where Joseph's skills came in. Sharon's prime rib was overcooked. She asked for medium rare. He immediately had it replaced with a new one, no hassles and also obliged us with the extra macaroni salad that she fell head over heels in love with. The rest of us, my Dad & Uncle enjoyed the hell out of our meals. The food was delicious & Joseph's attention & personality made it even better. Thanks J&R! 1-31-2026

My server was Danny D and he was spot on and it was an absolute pleasure he served us. I was introduced to Da Noi from a very close friend and I keep coming back. 10 out of 10!!

Da Noi is the great Italian restaurant you might not know about. Situated on Montauk Highway in…read moreIslip, Da Noi serves Italian-American cuisine that competes with the best. Baked clams are my "litmus test" for Italian restaurants, and theirs are in my top 10. Their menu is insane! So many choices, so many specials each day, and a huge assortment of desserts. If you cannot find something to eat, there is something wrong. The bar area is very small, so don't plan on spending too much time there before you get seated. Their staff is attentive without being annoying, and their dining room is large and welcoming. Once seated, you are greeted with complimentary bruschetta and their ample bread basket. Two things I recommend ordering are their clams and if you eat rabbit, definitely get theirs when it is offered. Portions are huge and the quality of seafood is always fresh. They have a small lot in the rear of the restaurant, with both a rear and front entrance. There is also street parking available (do NOT park in the bank lot across the street--you will get towed).

Fairfield Ballpark, Central Islip (Ducks Game)…read more I had the pleasure of trying the Piggy Fries from the Dang BBQ food truck during a Ducks game, and wow -- they blew me away! These fries were made to order and served piping hot, with a perfect delicate crispness that held up beautifully under the generous toppings. The meat was tender, flavorful, and clearly slow-cooked with care. Every bite was better than the last -- honestly, it was even better than I expected. The food truck itself was impressively clean and smelled incredible from the mix of barbecue and fried goodness wafting out. The very beautiful woman taking orders had such a kind, pleasant face that she instantly brightened my day. And major kudos to the cook -- whoever's running the grill is an absolute star. I'm already craving a second plate! If you ever catch the Dang BBQ truck at an event, do yourself a favor and order the Piggy Fries. You won't regret it.

Having this bookmarked for quite sometime my boyfriend snd I finally decided to stop in…read more Parking is not the best. Their lot is only big enough for about 5 cars. For drinks, I had the smoky Mary and my boyfriend had the dang LIT. The smoky Mary came with a piggy popper. We also ordered piggy poppers as our appetizer. They were probably the best stuffed jalapeños we've had. It also came with a good sauce to dip. For my entree I ordered the bbq shrimp. It came with a choice of two sides. I went with Caesar salad and collard greens. Both were good. When we were done I realized it didn't come with cornbread as the menu stated. We were already done, so I didn't mention it. My boyfriend had the smokehouse lasagna. He really enjoyed it and the portion was huge. We also added sausage as we wanted to try it. It was just okay. I wouldn't get the sausage again. After we got home I looked at the menu again as I thought the bill was a little high. My suspicions were correct. We charged more than what the menu says. For the piggy poppers we were charged $18, when the menu says $15. The smokehouse lasagna is priced at $26 and we were charged $27. Not really sure what happened here. It was a decent lunch. Just slightly disappointed about the price discrepancies and not getting cornbread.
