Had a great time this last Saturday afternoon with Temecula Black Car. We went to three wineries and enjoyed tastings at each. We had great service everywhere we went. Our drive, Sergio, was very friendly and entertaining. We had the chance to chat with him at the 2nd winery and enjoyed the conversation. The English cab type of car was interesting and fun to cruise around it, although two of us had to sit backwards on fold out seats. Not the most comfortable seats but after drinking some wine it didn't matter. I would definitely use this service again. read more

I booked a winery trip for Mother's Day with black car company and we had one of the best experiences with this company. Tony our driver was the nicest and most courteous. This company took us to some of the nicest wineries in Temecula to include the Callaway winery which was gorgeous with amazing views. We went to four different wineries and the packet included lunch at the Falkner winery restaurant which was delicious and also had amazing views. Great day! Meant to write review sooner. Friends and I were there at the end of June and wanted last minute plans for wine tasting tour. We called on a Friday to reserve for that following Saturday and it worked out perfectly! Tony asked how long we wanted to be out and planned 4 wineries and lunch for us which was SO convenient since there are dozens of options to choose from and we didn't know where to start. His son ended up being our driver and picked us up and dropped us back off at KOA campground. We went to 4 places and by 4th one we were definitely thinking we should have just stuck with 2-3 so we could spend more time at some of the ones we liked and not be so buzzed. Haha. Definitely will refer Temecula Black Car and will book them next time I'm in town. We felt so privileged to be able to have our own car and not share with others too!! Did a private wine tour today as a birthday gift from my sister and had Chris as our host. He was amazing, the process was so simple. It was my first wine tasting tour and I didn't know what wineries to visit, so I told them the types of wines that my sister and I prefer and they found the perfect fit for us. Chris even got a birthday card for me while we were visiting one of the wineries when he found out it was my birthday. My daughter turned 21 during the pandemic and we had originally planned to do a trip to wine country up north. His son Chris was very funny and courteous and showed my first-time wine drinking friend how to enjoy wine. Chris was a great guide during our Temecula wine tour. Honestly, I didn't know what exactly I had signed up for. I just made the reservation and let the company pick the car and wineries. Best decision ever. My husband and I visited 4 wineries plus a restaurant for lunch, and everything was fantastic. I do not often review things on Yelp, but I am going out of my way to make sure I convey how FANTASTIC my experience was with Temecula Black Car. Chris is extremely knowledgeable - having his Level 3 Sommelier license. He knew a great deal about many of the local vineyards, grapes, harvesting, and the benefits for each winery we visited. He started us at a lovely vineyard with a wide selection of wines (plus live music, and great views); and then catered the remaining 2 locations to our preferences. For instance: we said we were interested in getting something to eat, while also sampling some robust reds, so he brought us to Lorimar Winery as they had a wonderful brunch buffet & a delightful tasting experience. He also regularly brought us bottled water from the taxi cooler & fresh lemon wipes to stay cool. (It was over 100 degrees.) He even texted us while we were in the vineyards to make sure we were being treated well & if he could bring us anything during the tastings. The tour itself was $319 for 4 people. (I called directly, and got a discounted rate comparable to Groupon, but booked direct.) It covered pick-up & drop-off at our AirB&B, travel to 3 vineyards, AND the tastings themselves. We paid for 5 hours, but ended up going a bit over. Chris was again super accommodating. We enjoyed our time so much, we invited him to hang out with us afterwards! He's a great host and has built a fantastic company. Highly recommend for family/friend outings or just a relaxing day in wine country. read more

We've used TBC several times and would not even consider using a different service for wine tasting tours. They are fantastic to work with, they listen to our request, are always on time (and keep the group on schedule too!), and are just all around good people. They have great relationships with all the wineries too so you can tell they are well respected in the community. We've taken the black car itself with pick up in Temecula and we've also been picked up in San Diego in their other vehicles and I don't have a bad word to say about either option, though I do recommend the black car at least once because it's just so cool. I chose Temecula Black Car so that we could have private transportation due to COVID, and it was above and beyond our expectations. Another great wine tour with Temecula Black Car! We were a group of eight family members celebrating our brother in-laws birthday and choosing Temecula Black Car was a perfect fit, we wanted to share our beautiful Temecula wineries with our guests and wanted to be responsible as well. Chris, our driver, arrived on time and greeted us with a warm smile and great attitude. All four wineries were amazing, with Altisima being our collective favorite (their wine, food and views were all outstanding). There was a saxophonist ( CJ) performing at Altisima while we were enjoying our lunch and treated our birthday boy with Happy Birthday on sax, what a treat! Chris was awesome in making sure we stayed on our timeline and made our whole day special and fun (sorry Chris for all of our off-key singing!). The only suggestion I would offer to make would be to service the black van that we utilized, the step did not slide out when the side door opened, making it difficult to get in and out of, especially for women in heels. The wineries chosen for us were wonderful, and we really felt like VIPs with the way our driver knew everyone and was greeted cheerfully wherever we went. We loved our tour with Tony and Temecula Black Car! Like the rest of the country, we've been staying home and away from crowds, so when we finally decided to venture out, we wanted to go with a company that offered private tours and would handle the details of getting us into the wineries and (hopefully) away from the most crowded spots. We did the tour of four wineries, including lunch and we were completely satisfied! TBC delivered, bringing us to four spots that had very tasty wines and that were spacing out customers well, despite it being a busy Saturday in Temecula. The lunch at Falkner was so delicious, one of the best meals we've had in a long time! Tony arrived on time and did a great job of shepherding us along, taking care of setting up the tastings and then leaving us to enjoy ourselves. He kindly took pictures and answered questions along the way. We had requested the London Cab car and did get our request met, which was really awesome. We hadn't been in one of those cabs since our last visit to Europe and it brought back lots of fun memories. All in all, a very good day on our tour - we'd highly recommend TBC, they are professional and will take you to some great spots! Last thought - I noticed the one star reviews when I was writing up my review, I can't say what happened there, but I would not let those reviews stop you from booking with this company. What a deal. My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary in Temecula and we're so glad we found Temecula Black Car and Tony. First, it's $280 for two people in the fun London Cab for 5 hours, 4 wineries (tastings included), and lunch (included). That is a super deal. We figured with all the tastings and lunch it would have cost us around $150. Tony picked us up from Temecula Creek Inn (don't stay there unless it's free) took us to Robert Renzori, Briar's Rose, lunch at Falkner, Palumbo, and Danza Del Sol. Tony was a great guide and even presented us with some sparkeling wine as an anniversary present. I highly recommend. We were able to book him about a week in advance, but Easter was a super slow weekend for Temecula. There is a great Groupon for 5 people for the day too. read more

What a great day we had with Cindy and Temecula Black car. We had never been to Temecula and went to visit some friends for a little R&R, birthday celebration and wine of course. We started the day with her picking us up promptly at 10 and taking us to the greatest wineries. Cindy took such great care of us. She was always there when we were ready for the next adventure. She introduced us to Temecula and made the day so great. As a spur of the moment we asked if we could hit one more place for some avocado oil tasting and she called ahead got us a reservation and even took the time to buy us crackers to use for the tasting as the place said they just ran out of bread. To the next level they go! I can't recommend them enough. Such a great way to see Temecula. I can't wait to visit again and do it all over! She was truly fantastic! My wife's birthday is April 1st. As part of her "Birthday Weekend" we planned a trip to San Diego, CA. As a surprise for my wife, I scheduled a tour with Temecula Black Car. Please keep in mind that I knew nothing of the region, nothing of Temecula wine tours and nothing of Temecula Black Car other than what is posted on Yelp. To say the least, we truly had no expectation as we had no comparison. We simply hoped for the best. Jake picked us up at the designated location. The traditional English style "Black Car" was clean, roomy and could not have provided a better first impression. Jake then began to ask a few questions of our wine likes and dislikes, a little about the reason for our visit and in general was social. More on Jake as we go through the review yet in summary, Jake was spectacular. If you haven't met Jake, you should. Our first stop was Callaway Winery. For my wife and I, although we really appreciate a good wine, had never been to a winery. For a first stop it could not have been better. The outside setting was simply spectacular. Inside, the winery was clean friendly and inviting. Jake lead the way to make sure we were signed in, received our tasting coupons and provided the initial guidance to get us started. Jake then, very professionally removed himself from the area and waiting for our readiness to leave. Jake took a few pictures of my wife and me then it was off to the second stop. By the way, the wine was good...we bought one bottle. On the way to our second stop I suggested to Jake that he had outdone himself and there was no way to top our first stop. I was wrong. The second stop was completely different and better than the first. For my wife and I this was by far the best stop of the day. The setting at Briar Rose was outside, with a slight breeze, in the shade, a garden type setting and absolutely no rush. The perfect picnic. Jake again escorted us into the area, made sure we were introduced to the staff and then to the garden. The service was great yet more than great, the server seemed to be quite informed of the wine making processes and the grapes. By the way, the wine was really good....we bought two bottles. The Estate Tempranillo!! Between the second and third winery we stopped for lunch. A nice place, spectacular view and once again, Jake took care of us. On the way to our third winery I again suggested to Jake that he had peaked and should take us back to our car. And, once again Jake exceeded expectation with the third stop. Again, completely different that the first two. Lorimar was by far the best in terms of overall taste of each of the wine samples. Most of all, Lorimar had great Blues Music in the background that matched perfectly with the setting. The service at Lorimar was more in line with sort of a Street Fest in terms friendly, helpful, fun and energetic servers. The background music coupled with the service made for a spectacular combination. By the way, the wine was fantastic....we bought three bottles. 2012 Zin / Petite Sirah. All in all an unforgettable day for my wife and me. The Black Car, Jake, the winery selections made by Black Car, the wine tastings and most of all...time with my wife. Wow, what a day!! read more

Seriously, you need to let Tony take you for the wine tour with lunch at The Pinnacle. He was able to accommodate my sister's TravelScoot scooter without a problem. He took them to four or five wineries, where they enjoyed friendly service and bought some awesome wines (they like to collect wines). We couldn't have asked for a better afternoon of wine tasting in Temecula. Tony was so nice and went over the wine lists with us at every stop to recommend wines that we would like (we aren't huge wine drinkers). We definitely didn't end the tour thirsty - or remotely sober for that matter! We did the fixed time, half day tour from 2:30 - 6:30. You really can't beat $75 a person for a private tour!
