This apartment complex gets a 5 star rating for the management alone! I have been living here for about 10 years and the two years that the leasing office manager "Tina" has been here has been a Godsend for our community, things have improved exponentially in a relatively short period of time. The property manager "Tina" is not only professional but friendly and responsive as well when it comes to the community. She has a great staff of ladies that do their job well. The maintenance "crew" is always prompt, responsive and provides excellent service & precise fixes! Any issues have always been fixed and resolved in a timely manner. Out of all the apartments and condominium complexes I've lived in around the world the maintenance here is by far the best! Temecula Ridge apartments offers a junior Olympic size pool that is the biggest I've ever seen in an apartment complex. The gym is functional and has most of the basic equipment needed for a good workout. Security patrols at night 7 days a week, giving a more safe living space for families and individuals alike. The landscape is well kept and maintained. The property flows well and in addition has a small but adequate dog park. Also the property itself sits up on higher ground giving great vistas/views of the city & mountains. One of the hidden "bonuses" that this complex offers is they actually let you rent additional garages if you have more than 1 vehicle! The property also has a guest apartment for relatives and or friends to rent while visiting (better than a hotel and just as cost effective). In my opinion Temecula Ridge is one of the best if not the best apartment complex in Temecula and surrounding cities. read more

I lived here for almost a year with virtually no issues, however people are right, upon move out even though I was signing up for another year in another unit, they converted my full security deposit (civil theft). California law makes very clear, landlords can't charge for ordinary wear and tear, and they said I owed them more than the full amount for paint for just hanging art on the walls. The people at the front desk are nice that show you apartments because it is a rouse. The management of Jennifer and especially the assistant manager Marissa are extremely unprofessional, rude and act like you are the problem. Overall I would say you pay an excessively inflated rent for the staff to think it is your job to service them (instead of the other way around). Run away from this place. Homeless live in the woods near here and occasionally live in the crawl space under the stairs here. Do you want your kids playing near homeless tweakers? Another point is the owner of this place owns a multitude of other very large properties in SoCal in Texas and is probably a billionaire. The management acts like fat chance conservative elected courts will vindicate the very liberal tenant friendly laws of California. I can't say this place is worse than other options but it's definitely the worst place I've ever lived on three different continents at nearly forty years old. I can see why some reviews are positive because if you just are fine on principle with your security deposit being taken for no reason and you happen to get a good unit with good AC, lack of the dungy old carpet and stopped up drains I have and broken door handles, you might be ok. They act like it's your job to be a free employee of them and let them know all of the things they should have fixed before you moved in. My hourly rate as an attorney is $250. I feel like they owe me thousands in them wasting my damn time. No doubt the owner will give some bullshit lying apology I feel this way. read more

We resided at this property for a little bit over a year, we didn't require much of dealing with the rental office, but move out time came and trying to get our deposit back was when things became interesting. Our deposit was around $1,400.00. We where very annoyed and disappointed to get a refund in the amoun of $500.00. We tried to dispute the charges based on what was provided on our lease for move out expenses. We had our carpet cleaned by their cleaning crew and the office said it was not up to their expectations until we let them know it was their cleaning crew. I shared a 3 bedroom, 3 bath, 2-story suite with one other person, so we definitely got the best place out of all the interns. The apartment was very new, and I was amazed when I first moved in. The entire place was furnished, including kitchenware. We also had room service cleaning every two weeks, which was very convenient. The apartment staff is also very friendly, and the gym and pool/spa were definite pluses. We even got our own garage for two cars. Everything was great, except that our TVs could have been slightly bigger, and I did have some problems with the internet that had to be resolved. I was actually charged by Beyond Communication for no reason at all. One big problem for me was a lack of an office table in our apartment, making it impossible to study without using the kitchen table. Oh, and apparently it's impossible to have your indoor temperature lower than 70 degrees during the summer. We had ours set at 70, and our neighbors were complaining that our AC was too loud because it was constantly on. read more

I absolutely love living here. The staff are overly communicative (in a good way). The community involvement is awesome staff does events, food trucks, and holiday competitions. The amenities are awesome! They have a huge pool, gym, dog park, kid park. Our apartment is comfortable and bigger than any apartment I've ever lived in. We have a washer dryer ROOM, 2 PATIOS, and a detached garage. Parking is hardly EVER a problem only like really late nights have I ever had a problem with parking (we have 3 registered cars so that's kind of a lot too). The people that live here are super family oriented and we have made friends with lots of the kids, we walk to stores, and there's just so much to love about this place! They are always upgrading, checking/testing safety items in our units. For Xmas last year they upgraded all the thermostats! I literally have never lived in apartments like these I never want to leave!!! read more

For the extra two stars I just require half decent parking. Seems to me that everyone that lives here, uses their garage as storage. They park in the parking lot, so there's never ANY parking which is super unfair and inconvenient. You might have to park outside the complex; even the future resident parking is full. Lived at Temecula Ridge Apartments for 18 months; be aware that they will cheat you on getting your security deposit back. When my family moved in I emailed the sales office that the carpet was severely stained and dirty. They are still charging me at move out for dirty carpet and said it was their protocol. When I put in the notice of termination, I requested samples of paint so I can patch and paint any nail holes, the office stated that I needed to provide my own containers for the samples, which I did. A week later I was given the paint containers and the containers were marked which rooms they were for. We used their paint they provided and they are charging me for the sheen of the paint not matching. When I said I received the paint from your staff, that is what was provided to us, they responded "we are charging you for the wrong sheen being used" and doesn't care it came from their staff. There are plenty of apartment complexes in the area, stay away from Temecula Ridge Apartments, truly isn't worth the cost of the apartment and staff being unethical. read more

The mobile park I live in many have 19 hole golf carts, so I figured if they bought one of them it's a good recommendation.I was there a few weeks ago and really liked Robin's honesty. I still looked around at other dealers, but Robin's knowledge of carts really impressed me. So I figured if I am going to spend a lot of money I have to have reliable and sincere answers. Complex looks well kept towards the entrance, to fool new prospect tenants. Don't be fooled by what you see though! Take a Drive through the ENTIRE complex and drive around, you'll see how Run-down this place is, stairwells, walls, landscaping is terrible & not to mention the Exterior Paint towards the center units! My neighbor who's lived here 10+ years, says its been the same for many years, so don't believe when they say, re- painting is in the plans! BEWARE If you have small children or Pets!! This place is Crawling with COYOTES during evenings, do to an open land-field towards the back of property! Its not fully fenced, theres security gates for vehicles only but entire property is open for anyone to come including car thieves! Its a constant problem here. Just moved in 2 weeks ago and I am loving my new cozy home! Thank you to Asst. Manager, Marissa for being so accommodating and very helpful throughout the process. Waiting for a little more than a month for the renovations was really worth it. The brand new appliances, counter top and flooring are outstanding. At first I was concerned about staying in a ground floor unit because I was worried about the possible noise of the tenants on the second floor, but so far, it's either the insulation is so good that I may have heard some movements upstairs but muffled or I just got really lucky I have quiet neighbors. (: Maintenance service was also very prompt when I requested for a door bell check. All the employees I have seen at the leasing office and on the grounds have all been friendly and welcoming so far. Parking is very convenient too. The gates close at 6:30 pm which makes me feel more secured especially at night time. I still have to check out the other amenities and hopefully have more time to enjoy them soon. read more

I move around a lot, and I have rarely experienced such rude and inept office and maintenance staff as at Temecula Ridge. Every time I walk into the office, I face nothing but attitude. Any problem with the apartment is immediately my fault (even though I just moved in) and the maintenance staff actually disabled my garage door so I wouldn't leave it open during the day anymore. A note would have been nice? The enormous rats that live behind my building also make it impossible to spend any time outside without wondering what might be scurrying around my feet. All I can say is thank goodness my lease is up in a few months and I won't have to deal with any of the staff here again!! To be fair, I rent this apartment through a third party corporate housing company. A lot of the trouble has come with miscommunication through them. However, the same company has been moving me around for 2 years, and I have never had any of the problems that this complex has given me. Also, you can ignore the comments from David L. Abbott uses a third party to furnish their apartments, so none of his comments are at all applicable to anyone except Abbott interns. read more

This is the worst place I have ever lived! The management sucks. Especially Jennifer! There is a terrible ant problem in the summer as well as tons of illegal activity. Management is so nice before signing lease but once you're in they begin slacking. Took 7 months to get my patio door fixed, had to contact corporate before anyone came out. The units themselves are very nice but you can hear everything through the walls. Also there is a lot of car vandalism, which the property is not responsible for. This apartment complex a year ago would have received a much higher rating than I am giving now. They have had recent changes in the front office with their leasing managers and the complex has suffered as a result. The quality of tenants has greatly diminished - as a complex that allows large breed dogs picking up feces & maintaining a clean environment is key to living in peace with everyone - but with the Newer crowd they have been leasing to the quality of caring how the surrounding environment looks has been diminished significantly. At any given time I will pick up 6+ other dogs feces just for my peace of mind that I and my dog won't step in it come nightfall or in a rush. Living with a dog in an apartment is a huge responsibility as far as keeping them mentally & physically stimulated and I don't take it lightly - it's just financially where we have to be. Further more with taking in risky leasers the complex has seen a rise in tenant occupancy per unit, decrease in parking due to said tenant occupancy rise per unit, and an exceedingly high number of visits from the sheriff with dispute issues and evictions. The urgency in handling in apartment emergency maintenance is almost non existent - later last year we had a class 3 sewage flood INSIDE of our apartment due to a blocked pipe and a month of us reporting sewage issue with our bathroom prior to said incident and nothing was done until it was too late. And even then, sanitarily speaking the maintenance was sub-par considering the medium they were supposed to be cleaning and making our living space live able again. It has been a disappointing year for Temecula Ridge. I would go elsewhere and spend your money more wisely if at all possibly. Needless to say when our lease is up I am out. read more

We were charged an unbelievable amount of money to clean, repaint etc. The apartment was left by us in like new condition. Like what can't I say about this place but I really enjoyed living here. Beautiful apartment homes on top of a hill. Woke up to a beautiful view every morning (lived on 3rd floor) ever since I've moved in & moved out the staff and management has been super awesome, helpful and accommodating. LITERALLY in my opinion one of the BEST apt complex I've lived in, in Temecula. Very spacious in size , love there floor plan options, gated community, crown molding, no squeaking floors, big windows, walls insulated really well, barely heard my neighbors. Garages were very spacious as well trash and Mail not far of a walk. Maintenance dudes always on it doing what needs to get done, very helpful if ever I had an issue. Temecula ridge even does pizza nights & each holiday set up a lil contest to try & get the community involved and together which I think is really awesome how much the staff and management care about their community as much as they do! Also they also have an on sight gym with free weights, treadmills & other various workout equipment. Unfortunately I had to break the lease but Andrea and mike worked with me, answered all my questions and got back to me as soon as they could even tho I called a lot aha. I've lived here at Temecula Ridge for over a year and a half, 4 months into re-signing a new lease. I recently became aware that I was rented an apartment that the management knew had no capability for cable/T.V. which is something they should have made known to me at the time I moved in and given me the option to take this apartment as is, but they did not. I'm also a military veteran with a 100% service-connected disability rating for anxiety depression/PTSD and had a pit bull service dog until I moved here when I was given a copy of their breed restrictions for dogs which restricts pit bulls. However, since I've been here I have ample evidence of hispanic tenants with pit bulls, one of which have 2 big pit bulls. With me being African American this demonstrates gross discrimination on the part of the management here of which I have begun a HUD discrimination complaint. When the workers here cut the grass I'm left having to clean up around my door and patio where they leave the grass where it is. I've resolved to bagging the grass from my door and patio and leaving it at their front door. At least in front of their door it's bagged up as opposed to being spread out over my patio and front door. Aside of them discriminating and being in violation themselves they have the audicity to harass me about other provisions like not keeping my vehicle in my garage. As long as I'm not breaking any laws or disturbing other tenants they don't have the right to tell me what to do with the garage space which is a part of the apartment that I rent from them. These people obviously make their own clauses regardless of whether or not they violate existing California landlord tenant laws. read more

This was probably my worst apartment living experience. Upon moving in, the apartment appeared clean. However, after walking around bare foot my children's feet looked as if they had been walking around Walmart, they were completely black on the bottoms. This was same day we moved in. I moped the floor 4 times and still the water was brown when I dumped it out! That should have been my first clue. We spoke to the lady in the office about how dirty our place was. She didn't really have anything to say as the apartment was "cleaned" prior to us moving in. Clearly it was NOT. The appliances are old and don't work well. You have to turn the dryer on 2 times to get your clothes dry. You can't use the oven during the summer months because it puts off SO MUCH HEAT! Your electric bill will be almost $400 during the summer. However, my biggest complaint is that you will get totally ripped off when you move out! Upon moving in we were required to put $1000 deposit down. Once we moved out we thoroughly cleaned EVERYTHING. I can guarantee it was cleaner when we moved out than when we moved in. We were there for only 5 months, hung no pictures, made no holes in the wall or anything. They charged us for cleaning and REPAINTING the entire apartment?! They kept almost $800 of our deposit. All for things we shouldn't have been charged for. I would never recommend these apartments to anyone! If you move in expect to get robbed when it comes to your deposit. read more

I love living here for the most part. Walls are fairly thick so sound from my neighbors is rare, which is so hard to find in apartment living. It's a quiet neighborhood and I LOVE that. People that are loud are few and they seem to leave quickly. It's very dog friendly :) a cute dog run/park so all the pups can interact. A nice playground for kids and lots of grassy areas. They were built very well and have most high end finishes. Awesome pool a d outdoor area for family get togethers and bbqs. Our patio is HUGE which is great! The only downfall is the gym. It is usable, but it's kept at a very cold temp which is not ideal for proper working out. They have a good amount of weights, a kettle bell, and cardio machines. The management is also pretty great! No complaints here. Andrea, Michael, and especially Marissa have been amazing. All apts come with a garage and parking is usually open. All in all, we love it and recommend it to anyone who wants a quiet life. read more

Moved here from a house to scale down. Rebekah was super thorough showing me all available apartments but I chose a 1 bed with attached garage. The application process and move in process were a breeze, Rebekah kept me in the loop on everything I needed. This place is awesome! The garage is HUGE and I can drive in and shut my garage door and walk right into my apt! Theres room for my car, and storage! The ceilings in the apt and garage are tall so it feels really spacious. Kitchen is open to the dining/living. ALL my furniture fit, I have a large overstuffed 9' sofa and oversized dining table, everything fits! The windows are heavy duty vinyl (very secure and keeps heat and cold out) and big, so lots of light comes in. I haven't had to run the air or heat yet! I love the patio! Its HUGE too, for an apt, that was a big deal to me, coming from a house, having a nice spacious patio to put plants on and such. I have plans! I very much enjoy sipping coffee and watching the balloons rise up over wine country from my patio! My bedroom is huge too! fits my queen bed, dresser and desk ( office space) easily! Walk in Closet. And the bath is HUGE! like wheel chair access huge! Coming from a house this place is perfect, has everything I need and everything I wanted. Its a great fit for me and I feel very relaxed, safe and comfortable. The neighbors are super quiet, so quiet I often wonder if anyone is home! Its weird but I am serious and people have dogs and I rarely hear any dogs! I'm just super happy and impressed with everything. The grounds are kept nice, I never see any dog poop or anything. Since this complex sits above Rancho Cal on a hill, I really don't even hear street noise. I love how quiet it is. I see mostly mature folks here, and haven't heard any loud boom boxes or any other typical apt noise. I dont even hear TVs?? !! Weirdly quiet but super nice! Birds in the morning singing. I have to update my review. My husband and I are still living here and are looking elsewhere. Although Temecula Ridge does seem to be one of the better complexes in Temecula I feel like things are going downhill. The office staff has changed since I moved in but they are still helpful. Although there is not much they can do about the people moving in. My truck was broken in to a few weeks ago and I am CONSTANTLY kept awake because of the noise at night. The demographic has drastically changed and I believe it has brought in a bit of rif raff. The keypad that controls the gate is currently out of order and has been broken for weeks at a time at least three times since I have moved in. They say that there is 24 hour security and what they really mean is they are available by phone 24 hours. I called once because someone was pounding on my door at 2 am and the person on the other end of the phone asked me what I wanted them to do about it...Not once have I seen security patrolling. They also changed the way they accept rent payment and we have to pay rent and utilities in two payments, Like I said, I am not miserable, it could be much worse but I am definitely not thrilled being here. read more
