This place claims to be a country bar but it is not a country bar. It probably holds over 1000 people at $10 a head for entry, but they are too cheap to hire bands. They have a DJ who plays all kinds of music and mostly not country. The staff seemed nice, but I would not go back. I prefer a county bar that plays country music, not a club that calls itself a country bar. Not sure how this place keeps going with so many bad reviews that say very similar things. read more

Went to old town last night with some friends and got into every bar perfectly fine until I got to stampede. I went up to the bouncer to show my id and he told me I could not come in. Meanwhile they let all my friends inside. I was extremely confused and ask why and he told me the manager won't let you in because you seem intoxicated. I was walking straight completely fine and did nothing prior for them to say that. I'm extremely disappointed of how I was treated here by the manager and I definitely do not recommend this place. read more

He played the harmonica like a toddler, then 5+ slow sad sappy songs and killed any surviving energy. The DJ finally figured out how to play some country rock at the end of the night.. that quickly disappeared. Well, it looks like a country bar, but it sure doesn't sound like one. I think only one in ten songs was country. The rest of the time it just felt like a night club. Alright if you're into that I guess, but if you're like me and you don't enjoy house or club music you'll probably be disappointed. Nice venue though! Really fun bar with a ton of space. Great for large groups, bachelorette parties, or just a nigh out! The line facing was fun to watch, they do lessons early in the night if anyone wants to join in! Let's take the brand new full drinks with someone (not even on the dance floor) dancing in front of them quickly so they don't see without asking if that's there's! A great place, but not the best. The dancing is fun, there's a few different bars, a whiteboard to request songs/dances, and some outdoor space as well. They accommodate us when we make the trip and have motorcycle helmets and other gear and they keep it safe for us. However, the food isn't good, sometimes employees give attitude, and when the DJ steps away there's moments of silence between songs (and it's accidental so it's noticeable). Overall it's a fun bar to dance at, but I mostly just go for friends and the dance floor. read more

Always a good time no matter which night I go! Security is constantly roving the place, which is really nice. They swoop in on morons trying to drink on the dance floor. I've been quite a few times and always leave dry thanks to them. I can get on the dance floor myself and act like a total idiot learning the dances and having a marvelous time with no issue! No one has ever given me grief. They all learned the same way!! I love to watch the amazing dancers AND the bad ones, it's ALL fun! Just as much fun as joining in and being one of the bad ones myself haha Do not wear sandals. Bring cash for cover. DO NOT BRING YOUR DRINK ON THE DANCE FLOOR. You are not in a music video. You come to this place to dance and or drink. Unfortunately, they know no matter what they will have a crowd... so they don't run air conditioning. Whether it is broken or they just don't want the electric bill... expect it to be over 100 from the trapped body heat. Where the gross mismanagement really is, is they don't even bother to open the built in roof skylights to let the heat escape. For having a great dance floor and doing a Renovation you would think they would run the AC. Many of us would probably pay a 10 dollar cover for AC but if you come here in summer.. proceed at your own risk. Expect the Temecula Stampede sauna. read more

Ken and Brandi obviously don't give 2 craps about their employees or customers, I went in to give it another shot this past weekend and I've talked to many patrons inside their establishment and word on the street is KEN AND BRANDI , the owners of Temecula Stampede treat their employees like crap on top of their customers (obviously hence they don't care to fix the AC from what it sounds like in years) they don't care about anyone but themselves,and their money .I've heard their employees are always in and out because either people leave from working here cause of how they get treated or they get fired , I also hear their employees don't have an AC in their break room, I hear they aren't even allowed any free waters (even when it's 90 degrees in their )anymore so employees have to bring their own bottles and if they don't they are s*** out of luck, I hear in the past YEAR they've been through 5 managers ..I mean that should say something So many regulars in that establishment have told me so many things and it's just sad. How can owners of an establishment get away with so many things within their business with how they "run" their building, how they treat their customers and how they treat their employees. read more

worst place ever. listen to the reviews when ppl say this place treats people horribly. they say that a lot of their staff is from the military and it shows. they are all on power trips and yell in your face. they don't allow re-entry for people under 21 even when the bouncer sees their wristband, the X's on their hand and checked them in no more than 15 min ago. drinks are expensive and a waste of money. the music sucks and could only be fun if you are a regular or are violently drunk and will listen to anything forced upon you. read more

I'm old enough to remember the "Midnight Round Up" with owners Kenny and Vance. I'm old enough to remember when that facility actually played country music all night and hip-hop from 12 to 1 AM and that was it. After taking about a decade off from going out I decided to check out a place that I used to sneak into underage when it first opened. WTF happened to this place? Nothing but hip-hop and a handful of country songs. This place definitely seems like false advertising now. One thing you could do to improve it right off the rip is to have your DJ go to either the Youtube Music App or the Spotify Music App and search for "Country Remix". You'll find a station on each platform that has a ton of actual "today's mainstream" country songs that have been hip hopped up by good DJs. Who knows maybe your DJ can get a clue and could play music that at the very least has a country music foundation to it. I understand you are in the business to make money but play something with enough country in it and enough hip hop to appeal to both types of clientele may be a better business strategy. Not sure if you can tell but Temecula and the surrounding area ain't LA or San Diego. Or.. Just change the name to "Temecula Twerk and Crunk Factory" and then no more false adevrtising. read more

I was at this place on may 31st. And what I witnessed was an absolute disaster. The staff and management were very rude and aggressive with certain patrons. They signaled out some individuals behind us in line and told them that they were not allowed in. I did not see any reason for this. The staff is in partnership with the local police and I witnessed them usher someone out of the bar right into the hands of the local police. This individual was not disruptive at all. After this first arrest, the police also arrested at least 5 other people. One was thrown to the ground for trying to video what was happening. It turns out that all of these individuals were from the same wedding party. Seems like they all got signaled out for not being locals. I will never be going back and I would not recommend this place. Not a good environment. read more

Love this place, particularly DJ Kermie and my favorite bartender Adam! Also a huge fan of Kelsey's lessons when she's there. I'm there about every other week. But I will say, it's because I enjoy the dances that other dancers here want to do. If you're looking for a "TRUE COUNTRY" dance hall where every song is a Cowboy ChaCha or a Boot Scootin' Boogie, this isn't it, at least after about 9pm on weekends. If you're looking for TRuE cOUnTrY, you're not going to find it in CA - I dance at almost every line dance bar from San Diego to Ventura, and they all play a mix of country, pop, hip hop, and whatever other line dances are popular. It is, though, a very fun place to be and the energy is insane - and Kermie is awesome for giving his local dancers a stage to show off their own choreography and dances they want to take off. This place also makes a mixed floor work well for them - mixed as in line dance at the same time as partner dancing - because of the size of the floor and the guardrails, which is pretty unique compared to other places. read more
