After being turned away from one local Dodge Dealership due to the age of my 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan, and due to the Fact that we bought a Lifetime Warranty when we first bought the Van. They actually told me that they would NOT accept any vehicle older than 2012, Lifetime Warranty or not. Another local Dodge dealership wanted to charge me a Diagnostic Fee of $230 right out of the gate, which may or may not have been refunded. I called Eddie James and he took total care of me from the first Phone call. He told me that most Dealerships schedule their Warranty work as fill-in work because they don't make any money on them, and put Cash customers first, resulting in days or even weeks of waiting for your vehicle to be repaired. We dropped our Van off the next Morning to have the A/C Blower Fan and Resistor replaced, and picked it up the following morning, all fixed with No hassles, no nonsense, just fantastic Customer Service. Very disappointing experience at Tempe Dodge. The original vehicle I purchased had safety issues that were never resolved and multiple mechanical failures that led me to believe it was a lemon. Based on my experience, they were aware of the vehicle's condition firsthand. Charles, the manager, later said they would "take care of me" on another vehicle, but the damage and extent of damage were misrepresented, and the numbers I was promised did not match what was presented. I recently purchased a vehicle from here and the process went smoothly except for a strikingly weird experience where the finance lady stormed in and started accusing us loudly of trying to game the system and somehow leave the company in trouble with the Tax Gods or something to that effect.We had been discussing with the sales person options for transporting the vehicle to Oregon so maybe that confused her in some way. Who knows ‍ Some weeks later I received a snippy letter from presumably the same person blaring that I had misrepresented my credit status and therefore they could not do business with me. Gentle Readers: the first thing I told the salesman was that I don't use credit and it would be a cash transaction in full. There was never ANY question of financing. I purchased a vehicle from this dealership and paid extra for a maintenance plan. Before buying, I specifically asked whether alignments and cabin air filters were included and was told that they were. When I came in for my first service, I was told those items weren't covered and that the plan essentially only included oil changes, which was completely different from what I'd been told when I purchased it. I spoke with a manager to try and resolve the issue. Instead of focusing on honoring what I had been promised, he told me the employee who sold me the plan could lose his job, mentioned he had a wife and kids and said the economy was tough, which felt like an attempt to make me feel guilty instead of addressing the actual problem. I explained that I wasn't asking for anyone to be fired, only that the dealership honor what was promised when I bought the plan. The manager said he would look into it and contact me. It's now been weeks and I've never received a call or any follow-up. I was completely ghosted. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in this dealership. My concern isn't just the maintenance plan. It's that I was told one thing during the sale and experienced something entirely different afterward. When I tried to resolve it, the dealership failed to follow through on its promise to get back to me. Based on my experience, I do not recommend buying a vehicle from this dealership. On 3/10 2026 I called to schedule a appointment to have a safety recall performed on my 2025 Ram 1500. I was very blown away by how rude the service advisor was. I stated I could drop it off next Weds as i am out of the country for a week but when the repair was completed my girlfriend could come pick up the vehicle. I was rudely told that it was not allowed and if the vehicle is not picked up the same day as the repairs are completed it would be towed at my expense. All i was trying to tell the advisor is they had a whole week to get the recall done. Very unprofessional. This is not my first bad experience I've had with them. Two weeks after purchasing the truck one morning it would not start. I called the dealership was advised the tow bill would be charged to me if I had it towed there. I was able to get the truck started so i drove it to them. I received a call later that day that it was related to the second alarm that they installed. I asked can it be removed. The service advisor said yes. I said please remove it. Later i got a phone call stating we could not remove it but we performed an update. To this day i still do not understand how as a advisor you call someone and say you can perform a repair, get authorization to perform said repair and then not do said repair. My first oil change I was informed that this dealership does not do a drop off you can only wait. Which is very weird that a dealership does not allow drop off's. But ok agreed to come in and wait. After the oil change was performed i found that the tech never placed a sticker where they said that they did, there was oil hand prints all over my hood, bumper, left front fender and right front fender. The next day i called and advised that I had to clean my truck and I was very upset. As a professional repair facility there is no way you should be allowing your techs to leave oil hand prints all over someone's car. All i got told is that they are sorry that this happened. I work in this industry as a service advisor. The level of disrespect you receive from there advisors and techs is horrible. I am currently looking at different dealerships to have my repairs performed. I highly advise against letting this dealership perform repairs on your vehicle. one month ago we dropped off a 2014 Ram 1500 eco diesel with 48 k mikes . the auto leveling systemwuit functioning normally . causing the truck to lean on side then the other . after one week in Tempe Ram service, they called and gave the truck back stating they cannot find the problem. they didn't charge us . we continued to use the truck for a week but problem persisted. We drover the truck to a private shop up in Scottsdale . In 2 days they solved the problem. They replaced the compressor it was seized . They drive truck to a different Ram dealer to charge system with nitrogen. That Ram dealer found a cracked frayed air line. they informed us this line is what caused the original failure and because of ithis line the compressor seized up from trying to compensate. They charged us 500 dollars to recharge and repair aifline. The private shop charged us 1600 dollars to diagnose and relkace new compressor . I'm upset because Tempe Ram had that truck in their shop and still couldn't find this broken aiine. If they would hzve found it and repaired we would gave never had to replace the air compressor. because of their negligence in not even trying to locate the problem they simply returned the truck at no charge. the other desler only charged 500 dollar for recharge and sir line repair. this is what we woukd have paid if Tempe could diagnosed properly and repair . I will not trust this dealership again. Took my Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4xe in for a 4 wheel alignment. When I picked it up they had done a 2 wheel alignment and the back had way too much toe. I called and Ruth told me that it was correct and they could not do a four wheel alignment on my car. She said the service manager said it was correct. I drove it for a week and it started driving really bad, having to push the wheel down to the left to go straight. I broguht the car back and Ruth swore we couldn't do a four wheel alignment. When I got the papers back the four wheel alignment was done. She still claimed it was not. I asked to talk to the foreman and he confimed a 4 wheel alignment was now done, and there was some miscommunication. Now the car still has the issue where you must push down and left on the wheel to go straight, they refused to fix it and just refunded my money. This Dealership is the shadiest dealership I have ever been to. They are not going to refund me my $3000.00 deposit for a truck I did not buy and did not sign any sale agreement paperwork to all for having it taken down off the website for 2 days. I was told I could get my taxes from my area adjusted ti the deal and so I assumed it was after they told me the payment and it all seemed good.... Asked for paper work the next day before driving 7 hours out there to find the numbers did not match the taxes for my zip. The dealer then offered a solution by adding an add on call "extra tax" which is illegal to call an add on "tax" to create a tax evasion scheme to pay cali taxes but also be taxed more by Arizona than initial offer which will raise payment and total price. This offer was denied as it seemed shady. The sales manager hung up on me after asking for a GM or owner and the GM approved of this behavior and called me a liar when there are recordings. Then makes a false statement that my deposit will be forfeited after 48hrs if I do not make a decision to buy the vehicle which there is no paper or form that states such thing. They stole $3000.00 from someone who is trying to start a business at 26 and make a living but I guess dealership profit is what they care about more instead. Please beware of this dealer. This will be the second dealership in Arizona that wasted my time but at least the other one owned up and fixed the problems. Got a higher MSRP truck the next day at the payments I originally wanted from another local dealer.... But now I'm out $3000 due to a greedy dealership. We recently leased a new Chrysler Pacifica from this dealer. After all the paperwork was signed we were told the rear passenger seat does not lock in the upright position. We were told this was because when they were detailing the car prior to delivery they pulled to levers at once and the cable disengaged. They said just bring it in to service during the week as they were closed when we took delivery. We were told it that they will fix it in five minutes with a "special tool". Well we drove from our home in Scottsdale specifically to have it fixed only to be told the whole seat needs to come out and it will take at least half a day. When we expressed our disappointment and dissatisfaction the response was "well, it's under warranty". No care for our time or the lies we were told. I know that auto dealers are not k own for honesty or integrity, but to sell a car with known damage and lie about it is a special kind of scum. They claim to be a family owned dealership. I probably should have checked their Yelp reviews before my purchase... I bought my 2022 Jeep Gladiator at Tempe Jeep because of proximity to my home. There is a saying, "the Sales department sells a customer their first vehicle, the Service department sells every vehicle after that..."--well I won't be buying again at Tempe Jeep. At 7000 miles, I was driving east on 202 Loop North, early on the weekend. I hear a "tick"--after I got to my destination I realized there was a 4" crack coming down from the top of my windshield. There is no chip, no indication of rock damage--I my vehicle has the "Gorilla Glass" option. I figured this is pretty obviously a defective windshield and something that would be taken care of under warranty. Well... after buying a $58k vehicle, the crew at Tempe Jeep said, "it's just something that happens with Gladiators and Wranglers" and "you can call Chrysler Customer Care". After not being able to get in touch with a human on the 800 number, I went back and asked to talk with the Service Manager (who never did come out to talk with me)--I waited for a while until the Service Writer politely told me to kick rocks. Buyer beware... Update: I am now being told that they are not covering my glass warranty because the vehicle is not equipped with "gorilla glass"--this is a problem for me because I had never heard of gorilla glass for a vehicle until the Tempe Jeep salesman sold me on it. I remember him showing it to me on the vehicle option sheet (because I thought that it was probably a waste of money)... yet, It's not on my copy of the sticker. This review is long overdue and well earned by the service department. Since buying my vehicle 5 years ago I have been in this service department several times and every time it gets worse. First time I was in there was for an oil change. I went to pick up the vehicle and they had cracked my windshield. The service manager denied the damage was done there saying "they have video". I asked to see the video and was told they did not have access and would call me when they did. After several calls to the service manager over a couple of weeks I never heard back and had to pay $450 out of my pocket. I have had to replace my battery three times in four years. The last time being 13 months ago and it's dead again. Last week my service provider asked that I bring the vehicle in and stated I might have a $50-$100 deductible for the battery. She then called me a few hours later stating Chrysler would pay $288 and I needed to pay $500. Hell No! for what ? to replace it again in another year ?. I had to have the tow truck pick the vehicle up and tow it to another repair shop to have the work completed. These guys won't take responsibility for their actions (broken windshield), they won't back their product (3 batteries in 4 years) and they sure don't keep their word ($50-$100 deductible). [BEWARE] Worst Service Dept in AZ! We made an online appointment at Tempe Dodge for 9:00am Friday to get an oil change and have a tech look at a bad sensor and a broken visor on our Ram 1500. We drove from Tucson to come here for service because we wanted to stay loyal to the dealership where we purchased our truck which was... THE WORST DECISION EVER. First of all, the online system did not capture all the issues and reasons why we needed service. So there was already miscommunication as soon as we arrived. When we got there, we were told there were 45 cars ahead of us before a tech could look at the sensor on the truck. Rather than get the truck's oil changed while we waited for the tech to become available, it just sat there waiting.... Until the following day! After waiting 4 hours on Friday, they still had not looked at our truck but we had to leave to get back to Tucson in time to pick up our kids from school. We were then promised by our service advisor that the truck would get the oil change by the time we arrived Saturday morning and that the tech would look at the sensor by the end of the day. With these promises made, we went down the street to rent a car and head back to Tucson. At 4pm our advisor called to tell us that they did not do the oil change and the tech still did not get a chance to look at our truck BUT at least the oil change would be done by the time we arrived Saturday morning. He promised... (lies!) We arrived back at the service center at 9:00am Saturday morning expecting the truck to be done. The waiting room was busy but to our surprise we were told that there were still 25 cars ahead of us before the truck could get its oil changed. So much for "Express Service"!! Tempe Dodge was unable to efficiently manage their service dept. To make matters worse, when asked why we were still waiting behind 45 cars Friday and 25 cars Saturday after having made an appointment, the acting service manager said that appointments don't matter and have no bearing on where they put you in the queue. Basically, walk-ins will get priority over your appointment! We waited another 2 hours but could not wait any longer because we had to be back in Tucson by 1:00 for our kids taekwondo testing. My husband told the acting service manager that the way we've been treated was unacceptable and then asked the advisor to get our truck so that we could leave. When the advisor couldn't find the truck, we were then informed the acting service manager took it and put it in the bay to get the oil change. But where was this proactive attitude all day Friday and Saturday morning??? Needless to say, it was the worst customer service I've had in my entire life. BUT we do appreciate that Tempe Dodge has done their best to make sure we don't come back because they've effectively wasted our time, our money and our patience. Extremely unhappy with this experience. I reached out December 13th to purchase a car I found browsing Auto Tempest. I received a welcome email the next day in which I responded due to my recent divorce, I was credit challenged. After speaking with a couple people over a few days, I received a call saying I got an approval at which time the terms and estimated payment was outlined. I just needed to send over verifying documents in which I immediately forwarded. I was asked for stubs which I provided. I was then asked for a W2 in which I provided. I was told I'd receive a call back and would have the contract overnighted to me. I set up a ride as I can't fly due to health reasons, returned my rental, and prepared for this new car. I hear nothing Friday, Saturday, Sunday, or Monday. I finally received correspondence (12/20) that the lender needed more verification because the stubs appeared "Generic". I've worked the same job since November 2009 and have never heard my stubs were basic. What were they supposed to look like? Now they want three months of bank statements; will that look too professional? I feel as if I was given the run around because of my credit profile. How did I receive an approval if my income wasn't verified? The owner of the company reached out to them and still a no go. What a waste of time. This was one of the more stressful buying experiences of my life. I should have listened to the one-star reviews instead of giving the benefit out the doubt and trusting the five star reviews. They replaced my clutch a year ago and charged me 4,000.google search showed that it should have cost 800-1500 parts and labour's included. The clutch broke again one month later. They fixed it for free, but I'm still annoyed they charged me so much money and I checked in with chrulysler jeep ram of superstition and they said on the phone it would cost 800 in parts 200 for labor, then later told me it was 2800 to replace the clutch assembly and disk. So price check with a cheaper dealership before you have your vehicle towed there and someone ask them why they charge so much read more

So I just recently retired from Jeep dealership in California after 20 years in sales management, took my asu students wrangler in for a leaky radiator hose, you could see it leaking and pointing it out. They ended up quoting us over 4000. For repair, we quickly picked up Jeep and at the advice of a dealership employee called Scottsdale muffler, they got us right in and completed repairs under 300. Great to know there are honest people out there. Shame on dealership for recommending unnecessary repairs, I'm an insider so I knew better, I think about the folks who don't know better and spend money they can't afford because they afraid to not complete repair. Not happy, service manager thought it was more important to do an interview than to discuss my dead battery I bought from them. My 74 year old mom used my car while I was out of town and she had to jump start my car several times. I took my car in and the could not do anything since they were backed up. Apparently safety is not important. I ended up at Autozone for a new car battery, even though my battery was under warranty. Now I'm stuck trying to get reimbursed from them or Chrysler and nobody wants to help. Unfortunately I have to have warranty work done here. Later hidden in the paperwork is the missing $1,000 made up of dealer add-ons that are useless items like a subscription security service and refilling tires with nitrogen. I wouldn't buy from this company again just because if they hide price items, it makes you wonder what other ways they are trying to screw you. We had this new car 8 days just to hear back that we have to give it back because my husband lost his job might i add was not without a job for longer than TWO DAYS! We are also self-employed workers so we have income no matter what. So Jason and Anthony Davis wanted their vehicle back because they said our pay stubs are "fraudulent" and our insurance ID cards were "Fraudulent" because of how they look? Mind you we have receipts that show differently since I paid to add another car on my insurance policy. They ended up "working out a deal" and decided they will give us a different car with payments of $460 (which we initially asked for before) because my husband's pay changed alright. We get off work we take the necessary actions AGAIN to purchase insurance for this "new car" My husband spoke with Mr. Anthony Davis and Jason Three times before arriving to pick up the "new car" they had waiting for us they told my husband that all he would have to do is come in sign the new agreement and be done in 15 minutes. We pull up with their car they wanted back we had our car seat everything ready to put into this so called "new car" they had for us only too walk inside the building and get the keys ripped from my husband hand by Jason and told we aren't getting a new car? Why might I ask? Here is the audacity part Because they decided to leave us stranded with no idea what to do? With a baby-sitter watching our small children at home, We stood there embarrassed and feeling overwhelmed because we aren't understanding how any of this is possible? We took the steps infront of their business and purchased ANOTHER Insurance policy (third policy) through a different company to show them we are not faking/lying about anything! We provided all the necessary documentation and plus more that they've asked for! We came to this place with clean credit and an awesome car payment history and money down and also going through bankruptcy thinking they would help us out since we received a letter in the mail "$750 visa gift card, no money down" only to be played and lied to and embarrassed. Also, the money we put down for the car down payment they will use it for us adding mileage and detail cleaning and replacement on oil filters so I won't get my money back that's pretty much what I'm understanding. I've overall spent half of what both cars were worth! People say things in reviews all the time about bad business and we were told by another lady our first visit who was also coming to get her money back she whispered "don't buy a car from here" we put everything aside and believed in this business but in all honesty read the reviews do your research on the business before stepping foot inside here. read more

If I could hit zero stars I would. I purchased my van 12 years ago from Chrysler during the recession the had a bumper to bumper lifetime warantee. I paid almost $4,000 for it. Every year I take my car in for something that has gone wrong and starting 2 years ago the dealership ALWAYS tries to tell me that my warantee is no longer valid. They first said it was because I got a divorce and my name changed so I had to send them all my divorce docs and show them I truely was the same person. Then they said my ex husband was the primary policy owner because we BOTH had our names on the car. Again two years ago I had to go though getting them all information. Last year they tried to tell me that my warantee didn't cover something because I didn't do a (5) year check up( which is not in the contract) so after I fought that then then finally did the work. Right now I am sitting at home with no car. My father is dying of cancer, I am supposed to be there in Minnesota with him but I cannot fly due to COVID. I'm supposed to drive there tomorrow but Tempe Chrysler has my car and is refusing to fix the A/C because the Mopar warantee AGAIN is trying to not pay out on our warantee contract. I've called three times, they service person cannot tell me what the problem is, only that it will take 7-14 days to get someone to adjust whatever they need to adjust so that my warantee shows my name as the owner of the car. Again..,,they did this exact thing to me 2 YEARS AGO!! While I wait I also get a car inspection report....they obviously think I am a stupid woman because this report doesn't just show the A/C that needs to be fixed but another $2,000 worth of non covered Maintenence work like changing steering fluids, break fluids, etc. which has nothing to do with A/C problem that I brought it in for. My car is running fine, why would I need to do all that? Oh yes, because they want to make SOME MONEY off me. I've been divorced for almost 10 years now and they have done work on my van every year for the last 5 years. Why SUDDENLY when I need something done, is there a problem?? This is fraud, this is breach of contract, this is illegal. And if my father dies because I cannot get there to him, this will not be the last you hear from me!!! You'd think Chrysler would honor their contracts instead of trying to get out of them ....shame on you and your customer service and ethics!! read more
