My car was hit by a red light runner and the insurance company rated it as a total loss. Thankfully, no one was injured. But now I needed a new ride. I considered a few different makes and models but I was most interested in learning more about the Audi Q5. That took us to Audi Chandler where we met Dak Mabone. Dak is a walking encyclopedia of Audi information. He took time to show us Audis of various years and prices and showed all the features of each model. We took road tests in a couple of the cars and settled on a 2025 Pre-Owned Q5 with low mileage and with both manufacturer and Certified Warranty coverage for the next several years. The sales process was done with attention to all of our questions and Dak covered all the details completely. After all the papers were signed it was getting late so I arranged to pick the car up the next morning. Dak had the car ready and waiting in the showroom and showed me a few additional things to help me acclimate to the car. Dak's customer service and product knowledge are world class. Our experience with AUDI CHANDLER was outstanding. The vehicle was priced very competitively. As a result, I didn't even negotiate on the price. I offered to purchase the vehicle if they could match my banks interest rate, and they came back a quarter point better. The GM, Aaron Enriquez stopped by to introduce himself and provided a copy of the CarFax along with documents that showed there was some paint work done to repair some road chips. I brought my vehicle in at 16,000 miles for a simple oil change, fully expecting to pay out of pocket since it was between my prepaid service intervals. When I wasn't charged, I asked why, and Layth told me it was taken care of "on the house." I later found out that instead of covering it, they used one of my prepaid 30,000-mile services something I had specifically paid for to use at the correct interval. At no point was this explained or approved by me. When I called to address it, Layth was dismissive, snarky, and took zero accountability. The attitude completely changed once the mistake was pointed out, which was a huge red flag. This wasn't a small issue they used a service I paid for without my consent and misrepresented it as free. We were looking at the in stock RS6 and Max came up to us and told us we can order one in any color for $2000 refundable deposit. I told him I wanted Merlin Purple, which understandably is a $10k option. I told him we had to come back in a bit because my husband had an appointment with BMW across the street. Less than 30 minutes later I come back and can't find Max, so I'm standing there and there are 5 employees standing there looking at me, not one came up to me to ask if I needed help. So I called the dealership and one of them answered (the rude bald man) and said why did you call? I said no one was helping me. He said we are all busy. And of course they weren't because I can see them all standing there doing nothing. Finally I meet Max again and he comes back and said it's now a $6000 NON refundable deposit because I want the Merlin Purple color. I said I told you I wanted Purple before and you told me $2000. He said yeah sorry it's a special color. I got up and left. I immediately called Audi North Scotsdale and spoke with the salesman I bought my current Audi from. He said Audi doesn't require a down payment to order a vehicle. So I ordered my car through them. I'm going to talk to my lawyer about this dealership because they obviously just tried to steal money from me. If you want an Audi, go to Chapman bmw and they can order/get any Audi you want. My husband bought an M8 when we were there yesterday. I recommend Chapman bmw. Best buying experience ever. UPDATE: I seemed to have upset someone here with my review, because my name and phone number has been submitted to dealerships across the state, and I've been receiving non stop calls and texts from dealerships I have never spoken to. Great experience with Max C. He had made a personal video for my daughter when she inquired about a Ford Explorer Platinum. She was looking at cars with me and making calls. This was a 5:00pm call. Max stayed late to make her a video and send it so I could see the vehicle. I was tired and actually ready to buy, but nothing was grabbing me. Also, a few of the other dealerships seemed uninterested and not open to negotiating reasonably. As I said on my Google review, " We didn't just fall off a turnip truck." I actually enjoy looking for cars and showing my daughter the process. It should not intimidate anyone. You have the checkbook. Anyway, Max had the car pulled up and waiting. The car was in excellent condition and had crazy technology which I'm still learning. We negotiated price and Audi Chandler worked with us, giving us a reasonable trade -in offer for our vehicle. We continued with pricing terms when Aaron, the general manager, came out to talk. Instead of being immovable like other managers playing hardball, he was upfront and polite. I believe one should be polite, both buyer and seller. They need to make money, but I prefer they make less from me, Ha ha. So we finally agreed on price. There were no hidden charges or sneaky fees. Max had the car detailed, put on 2 new tires and offered an additional protective coating at no cost. As my Dad always told me, "Don't buy a car or home unless you love it so much that you don't mind writing that monthly check." Well, I love my car. Toddy, in finance, was very nice and informative about extended warranties. I know the drill with warranties, and understand that they can really come in handy and sometimes they are just too expensive, it depends how on your needs and one's peace of mind." My experience with dealerships in general has been 50/50 good and bad. As I write this, I'm thinking about three bad (one really bad), two okay and one good one which is the subject of this review. I had moved to San Diego and my car at the time would not pass smog due to modifications I made to it when I was young and just wanted to drive fast. I needed a new car pretty quick and really enjoyed the Porsche Boxster after driving one around the mountains near San Francisco. There were three I had my eye on within a days drive and the one in AZ was a little too fancy. Red interior, a little more than I wanted to spend and a "special edition." I didn't care about a "show off" special edition, but after looking at the car awhile, I realized. This wasn't just any special edition. It was the RS60. To this day, I don't really know if they knew it was an RS60 which was selling for about $5,000-$7,000 over a standard Boxster S. I called the dealership and asked to speak to Tony. This was probably my third call that day. I asked Tony to take a picture of the glove compartment and sure enough, it was #249 out of 1,960 in the world. I certainty didn't set out to buy a show-off special edition, but now it felt like my little show off car and all the red leather was just extra. All in all, I paid the price they were asking as I didn't want to risk negotiating and lose the car. This happened once on a rare car I tried to buy and I still regret it. Tony picked me up from the airport we sat around the dealership for a few hours while my cashiers check was verified. Evidently, a cashiers check is not the gold standard I thought it was. Nevertheless, I left with my new car and drove into the sunset toward San Diego, on the very highway I saw out the plane window that morning. Things could have gone bad that day. I could have got bait and switched and felt like I had to buy the car to get home. A one way flight "day of" would have cost over $500. All in all, Audi did what they said they would (including remitting all taxes paid to California) and got me on my way. Thanks again Tony. read more

Audi of Chandler has been amazing. I had a great experience with them at end of September. Then at beginning of November I was greatly displeased on a few things. I own a 2012 A4 quattro. I posted a review with details of my issues on Google. The owner / project manager ended up calling me about it. Yesterday, they rectified the issues I had. As long as the Service Due notice doesn't come back on (I will know today), I will leave this review at 5 stars. The service due notification was one of my issues, where it wasn't reset after a multipoint inspection. What an absolute joke and disappointing experience. I made an appointment and came way out of my way to test drive a car here. When I arrived, I was greeted by Parrish, who told me the car was running and that I could check out the inside but he was busy with another customer and would see if another associate would come with me for the test drive (so much for having an appointment). I told him that I wasn't trying to take up too much time anyway, as I was just trying to feel out the car because I've never actually driven an Audi before but have always wanted one. I let him know that I just started a new job that would allow me to buy the car or something similar in the coming months. He proceeded to tell me that unless I wanted to buy the car today that we can't test drive it because of "miles." I proceeded to ask him the following question -- "So how would someone determine that they definitely want a car without test driving it?" His response was "We need to agree on a price." I'm sorry, what???? I then said "What do you mean? That doesn't answer my question." and I asked again. His response was "It's just our policy." Terrible experience. No customer service (do they have more than one human working?). Save potential headaches, and go with a traditional car rental company. I reserved an Audi Q7 for an upcoming trip to Walt Disnery World. This trip is for June 2023 (next week). I reserved the Audi on January 4th, 2023, six months before the trip. Well, this morning I got a phone call from the rental company in Chandler, and they proceeded to tell me that all Q7's were down, and not available. This phone call happened less than a week from our departure. The gentleman proceeded to say that only the Q5 was available. Well, the Q5 isn't big enough for a long trip! Why in the world did someone not contact me earlier to make proper arrangements? Absolutely unacceptable! I just cancelled my reservation, and will not use Audi On Demand for future trips. Additionally, if you have made it this far, please be aware that their customer service is non existent. Since the intially booking in January, I have called them three times, left my call back information, and not one person has called me back. Today, I tried to call the local Chandler location a few times, and no one picks up. They want to transfer you to their call center location, the location that already doesn't return phone calls. Today was the first time I heard from anyone working for On Demand, and then he vanished when I tried to call back with additional questions. You've been warned! read more

Jesse Becktell was the sales associate that I was privy to at Audi Chandler. I expressed online interest in one of their pre-owned vehicles, and he was the first to respond. He was professional, courteous, efficient, and even laughed at some of my dumb jokes. I was purchasing from out of state, as my son lives in Phoenix and I was coming down to visit him. Because of this there was extra logistics that Mr. Becktell was able to assist with. This included getting the card transferred for a PBI, and subsequent to that some additional maintenance that I requested. He responded in very prompt fashion, texting, emailing, and a phone call conversation or two as needed. He was also able to set up all of the paperwork via a local notary, and overnighted that to us. Thus when we arrived at the dealership in person, there was nothing further to do except verify identification, and pick up keys and the vehicle.He also assisted in picking us up personally from the airport. As a final note, even though it was a Friday afternoon, he was able to assist in getting the vehicle into the service department to check on the malfunctioning cigarette lighter/ phone charger Outlet. This is not an easy thing to schedule in on a Friday afternoon, and it assisted me greatly, as I was driving back home [a 1200 mile journey]. I should also mention that both the sales manager and the financial advisor from Chandler Audi were very helpful and assisted with several phone calls as well. I would highly recommend the Chandler Audi organization, and Jesse Becktell in particular, for any of your vehicle needs, whether in the Phoenix local area, or four states away as I was.
