Meaty loves coming here! Especially for daycare, just the word makes him go wild. Everyone here is so extremely friendly and caring about the dogs. I'm a dog mom that will call multiple times a day just to check up on him and they are always so sweet to reassure me he is doing great. We have boarded him here for a few days once and let's just say he came home exhausted from playing so hard with his friends since he's an only dog at home. Although he didn't eat much which was expected since it was a different environment he had fun and everyone took great care of him. This is long overdue, but Tempe Dogs 24/7 is absolutely AMAZING! We have been a client of Tempe Dogs since March 2018 and have made it a habit of going regularly. My dogs love going there and always come home super tired, which is great! When we pull into the parking lot of where Tempe Dogs is located, they get super excited and race to the door when we get out of the car. They just put in a backyard, which has been an amazing addition, and I know that my pups love it. They have theme days and special events. During the summer, they do water days where they just spend hours in the backyard playing around with kiddie pools and hoses. They also have photo days during special holidays and you can pay to have their photo taken. I haven't done this yet, but from the pictures I have seen, they are super cute! The staff at Tempe Dogs 24/7 are just so wonderful to work with and truly love your dogs, just as they would their own. They also make it a point to chat with you and get to know you as well. There have been times where I have had a few minute conversations with the staff before we even pull the pups from their play room. Ah, they are just so amazing! They also have a Facebook where staff post pictures of your dogs playing throughout the day and you can just feel the love. The staff are very active on Facebook Messenger as well. If you are missing your pups, all you have to do is ask and they will give you an update on how they are doing. They also help you keep up-to-date with when your pups Bordetella shot is expiring, which is required of all dogs who attend. I currently do a 20-day package of daycare for each of my dogs, which is actually a deal if you do the math. By doing a package, it creates ease at checkout time because you don't have to stop and pay each time. The staff also keeps you very updated on how many days you have left so you can anticipate on when you will need to purchase a new package. The fact that they are 24/7 allows ease in picking up and dropping off your pups; you don't have to worry about closing time and working around that schedule. If you are interested, they do a trial run (4 hours FREE!) so they can get to know your pup, and your pup can get to know them - which is super important! Then, one other amazing thing (out of the several) is that once your pup has gone through the trial run, they can attend any location (Tempe, Gilbert, Chandler, Glendale) depending on your needs. My pups typically go to the Tempe location due to where I work, but there has been a time or two where my pups went to the another location, which was very convenient for my needs. I am so happy that I found this day care. Chloi has been doing drop in day care for about six months and I finally signed her up for unlimited! It's $350 per month which you can split into bi-weekly payments. It includes a bath a week and discounted boarding for an additional $10 a night. Full day is $25 for 12 hours which starts when you drop off. Since they are open 24 hours it's perfect to work within any schedule. Recently moved to Tempe and my pups been here 3 times in the past 6 months.. I wouldn't take him anywhere else. The open area layout is great, so much better than locking my pup in a small kennel. He always comes home exhausted from running around with the other dogs the whole time. As opposed to the other kennels where he's got insane energy from being closed up the whole time. Staff is friendly, place is clean and you can feel safe leaving your dog there because they require new dogs to stay for a couple hours screening beforehand to make sure they play nice. Only con I can think of is it's a little more expensive than other local options. But I guess you get what you pay for, and it's well worth it. read more

*UPDATE* *** Erica got in touch with me and addressed my concerns. The boarding report did not show up in my email, but she did take pictures of it and sent those to me, as well as pics of my dogs. She also let me know that customers are welcome to view the areas where the dogs play. They are building an outside area as well. They seem to like my dog a lot! Which is good.*** I have have been taking my dog here for around 4 months. Usually just for daycare, I love that it is open 24/7 He seems to like this place as he's always ready to jump out of the car whenever I pull up in front of it. The staff is friendly and they seem to like my dog a lot. HOWEVER, last week was his first time boarding with them as I was out of the country for 10 days. A month and a week before I left for my trip I informed the staff what dates I would be dropping off/picking up my dog and was assured that it would be "noted in his file." On the day I dropped him off, it was a very informal, I told the staff member what day I would be picking him up from boarding and waited for documentation. Instead he started playing with my dog and said "Ok". I thought it was unconventional compared to past boarding experiences but also, quick and easy. During my trip, my dog's emergency contact told me the boarding facility had called him saying they expected me to be back FIVE days ago, nowhere near the date I said I would be picking him up (3x). I called them and cleared things up. When I picked up my dog he had ran out of food 3 days prior, they did not inform my emergency contact or myself of this when I spoke with them on the phone, or I would have had someone bring him more!?? His lip was also bleeding and he had minor scars on his face. (I assume these were from playing with other dogs). There's no way to know what the facility is actually like because they do not give you a tour or anything, for all I know my dog could be playing in a dirty pen with dogs twice his size. Pretty sure he got zero sleep the entire time. Also they are supposed to send a boarding report every few days with updates on how your dog is doing. I did not receive even ONE. I called the place multiple times after to ask for it to be resent and they kept saying they "resent" them, claiming it may take 24 hrs to process but I received nothing. They tried 2 different email addresses, nothing in my inbox, spam/junk. I'm not sure if they even had one for my dog honestly, considering the fact that they were unaware how long he was supposed to be staying there. The staff is nice but they seem unorganized and now I feel like I can't trust them. Will be taking my dog elsewhere, which is unfortunate because this location was very convenient for me. read more

It's not just a job for these people, it's a passion!! They don't just stand around and keep an eye on your dog, they play games with them and engage them in fun activities!! They do special things for all the major holidays, when I had to board my boy Moki at Christmas he came home with a stocking with his name full of toys and goodies! They do birthday parties on the dog's birthday, Moki also had a party on his last birthday there and they took tons of pics and video for me!! I feel good about leaving him there and I know he's in good hands and I can do what I have to do without worrying. I am always confident he will come home happy and exhausted!!! I never thought I would be that person. Yet here I am... that person who boarded their dog when she goes out of town. I boarded my little one, not because I couldn't find someone to take care of her... Nope! I boarded her because I wanted to know she was having just as much fun as I was while on vacation. I had to come on here and review this establishment today. We used the groomer services they have available for our Great Pyrenees, 8 Ball. The great service started with the phone call when I reached Marley. I explained to her that my family of 5 had recently moved and we were having a pool built. The pool was supposed to take 5 weeks and wound up taking 10. Honestly more than that but that's another story...Anyway our dog was in the care of my father in law that entire time who promised he was brushing him 4-5 times a week and I'm sure he was! But he works full time and was likely only brushing the easy areas cuz the dog is BIG! Anyway I told Marley upfront he'd be matted and she was kind and understanding on the phone. Lexie the groomer made him look like and a superstar again! We're so happy to have him home and clean and smelling wonderful! I would recommend this place to any dog owners. The staff is very nice and evidently like dogs. I had my dog groomed here once while they had a groomer and it was probably the best grooming service I've had. They were very thorough with the groom and I appreciate that. They also allow you to have a tour of the facility, you just have to ask for it. I brought my dog here about 9 times until he got banned. My dog has some aggression so they banned him temporarily which is understandable. My only concern/complaint is that I was not notified of said incidences until I came to pick him up hours later and even then, I am not sure if they informed me of all the incidences that occurred because they made it sound like it was a regular occurrence but I had only been told about one prior to getting banned for the second. I had made several check in calls and I always got good reports upon picking my dog up so to be told he was banned for "too many incidences of aggression" just felt a little surprising. However, I appreciate them working with my dog and giving him a few chances to redeem himself. They told me it's a temporary ban so if I can get his behavior in control they will allow us back which I appreciate. I just wish I was told sooner so maybe I could have gotten a dog trainer and correct my dogs behavior before it became a regular thing. But like I said previously, I would recommend this place to anyone because the staff is so kind, the care is so affordable, and the company is flexible with schedules. read more

I have been taking my pup here for over 2.5 years! When I moved to Phoenix, I had a difficult time finding a doggy day care that was open before 7 am (having to be at work by 5 am) and open past 5 pm. In addition to the flexibility of being open 24 hours, a day care day is a full 12 hours! Most places a "full" day is 6 or 8 hours -- how can you even utilize that when working a normal 8+ hour day??? The biggest perk here though: the staff. My pup is excited the second we turn into the parking lot and greets each staff member with tail wags and kisses. The staff is exceptionally friendly and extremely passionate about all the dogs they care for. Special shout out to Sadie and Alex! Although I don't have a commonly restricted breed, I am very grateful that Dogs 24/7 is not breed prejudice and this was a huge factor in deciding to start bringing Axle here 2.5 years ago. I had a dog here and he came back all smelly, like he had poop and pee all over him the first time I brought him. The second time was a Boarding stay and when I came to pick him up he had a puncture on him and it was infected. Another time I went to pick him up there was a worried mom in the lobby for over 3 hours because they gave the wrong dog to another family. This place is so disorganized and unprofessional. If i am willing to drive 26 miles for dog care- you know it has to be outstanding service. I use to take my dog Bumper to the Chandler location and LOVED it. I moved 2 years ago to a house Avondale. Even though i moved, if i needed overnight care i would lways go to thw Chandler location. In the last 2 years, we adopted a stay dog and Chandler expaned their service to Tempe. I will be honest nd say i was hesitant becuse i love the Chandler crew so much and was not sure how the Tempe crew was. I have tken my new dog severl times and he loves it! I honestly don't know what I would do without Tempe Dogs. I was excited to try them out when they first opened, I was not dissapointed. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I take my dogs there at least 3x a week. They are happy and tired when they get home. I was worried at first because my bigger dog Maia had only been to one daycare and I was afraid she would be scared. I called to check on her all day. The staff was very patient with me and reassured me that she was having fun. Later that day I was on FB and saw pictures of her playing and having a great time! The staff was friendly and helpful. However, after letting my dog board there for about four days while I was out of town, he got extremely sick. He began coughing, vomiting, lethargic, lost his appetite along extreme diarrhea and dehydration. I had to take him to the vet and pay over $800 for veterinary care and testing. He contracted some type of virus and is only recently beginning to improve and its been a week and a half. The manager had mentioned I would be contacted for some sort of vet care reimbursement but I have yet to hear anything. Please be careful with your pets. I understand there is risk with dog daycare/ boarding, but this an extreme and frightening example. read more

My daughter left my three-year-old dachshund here for, at the most, three days and nights in the small dog room. My first complaint is that no one goes in the small dog room to watch the dogs for any consistent schedule! My dog was left in a corner and didn't eat, I'm sure because of a new environment. No one took the time to check and see if she had eaten. When she got home, she had a cough and was sneezing for at least five days. Then my other dachshund got the same thing for over five days! Finally, there were at least three times when I entered the business that the front room had an awful odor of dog feces! I mentioned it to an employee and was told it would be cleaned. Boarded my mini schnauzer and Airedale terrier at this facility over the New Year's holiday week and I couldn't be more satisfied with the service. The staff were not only friendly and accommadating but genuinely excited & happy about having our dogs at their facility. The open play environment with 24 hour staffing really gives the dogs a great experience and I felt at ease knowing that the dogs are all placed through an eval before boarding as well as separated based on size once boarding is initiated. I loved that I could call to check in on my pups at any time and the staff were more than happy to give me a detailed update on how they were doing thus far. Also when we got back they gave a detailed report of how well they ate and links to videos of them interacting with the staff & other dogs. Also the fact that they are 24 hours is unbeatable, it really made me happy that I could come get my dogs even when my flight got in as late as 10PM. Tempe Dogs 24/7 was the place we were praying for. We just adopted a new puppy who has issues. She does not like to be left alone and when she is, she barks, cries, and screams. We took her to another day care on Vaughn St in Tempe, who said they were ready to call us to take her out because she barked too much. (we were flabbergasted, after all they are a DOG, daycare). When we brought her to Tempe Dogs 24/7 and told them prior to leaving our pup that she is a maniac when the human leaves the room or any other reason, they very matter of fact said, she's a dog AND a puppy. That's not a problem at all. They deal with barking dogs all day. We were so relieved. When we picked our pup up, they said she was fine. I can't say enough good things about this place. They saved my trip. I come every year to spring training, this year, since I was told I could bring my dog into stadiums as long as I sat on the grass with him. Well, that's not true, now I have tickets to 6 games and no place for my pup. Alexia answered the phone and was very accommodating to my situation. I was able to have my dogs vaccination record sent over from my vet and they welcomed him with open paws. Lily is a very sensitive dog and I don't trust boarding her in most environments... but she LOVES the Tempe Dogs 24/7 team. Alex, a manager at 24/7, is one of her top favorite people on earth. DO NOT take your dogs here! What an awful place! I came here once to just check them out and see if I wanted to take my own dogs here while I went out of town. And what I saw, I am absolutely appalled! First of all, when I walked in, there was no one there. The place looked deserted, of humans at least. It took a full 10 minutes before anyone even greeted me. Talk about unprofessional. Secondly, when I did see people working there, I noticed it was all only young guys, no women. I just thought that was interesting... Thirdly. The place smells AWFUL. Do they ever clean it? I'd guess no from the smell alone. Fourthly (the most important thing in my opinion). When I did see someone, I saw a few boys in what I assume is like the main play area. They were scruffing dogs, jerking them around, and dragging them across the room. I will NEVER return to such an establishment, and never would I even consider letting my dogs stay here for any amount of time. Think twice before letting your family member stay here. read more
