My water heater went out. The company that "diagnosed" the problem charged me $99 and said that…read morethis did not include the cost to replace it. The company then quoted me $2200 as the cost to replace it and reiterated that this did not include the $99 that they already charged me. I then got no less than 10 phone calls saying "please give us a call so we can talk about your situation. Some called more than once. Lakeland Heating and Cooling (Jason) was nothing like that... $1270 flat rate to replace the water heater. Yes, thats how he replied in his email.. as I requested. Our furnace is not a model that is installed in most residential homes so I was very impressed on how knowledgeable he was and how fast he was able to diagnose. He was very friendly and explained things very well. He promptly put in an order for the part that needed to be replaced as this was something that wasn't kept in stock and he installed the next day. When he was doing the repair, he noticed that the original installer did not setup the system properly for the 2-motor HVAC we have and he made made the corrections needed.
