INSIDE. I have to admit inside is pretty darn cool. There are lights on the big walls and even on the ceilings. This is a multilevel club so you can go up the stairs and get a view of the dance floor below. There is also a side room with a different kind of music. In addition, there is an art gallery next-door that you can walk to through a hallway and they are playing music there too! Nice that you have options. Also nice that they have more than One bar available so you don't have to wait too long for drinks at all. Towards the end of the night they blue confetti into the air from the stage and that was fun. MUSIC More on the house techno side when we went on a Saturday night in June. None of the songs were familiar in the main room. Not sure if it's because of not wanting to pay for the rights to play songs you hear on the radio or what. But nevertheless we had a great time with the music that they played. I think the music was way too loud. I could not hear anybody. LINE The bathrooms have your usual get up with an attendant. Candies lotions etc. I was surprise the lines were not that long compared to what I am used to seeing in California. Also on the subject of lines. We did not have to wait long to get in to the club. We were not on any guest list. Actually it felt like we walked right up and waited maybe at most five minutes. But also we got there on the later side I think after 11 PM. Pay $20 to get in. OVERALL had a great time. The club closes at 2 AM. If you are getting a ride, then I suggest walking away at least two blocks to get away from the crowd that way it's easier for the driver to find you. read more

It was my first time there with some girlfriends. We had just started our night. Bartender, blond with long braids that resembled dreads bartended for us in the art gallery. She was pleasant for first round of drinks. Second round, my friend ordered 5 tequila shots and 1 vodka. Added: we were still sober. I complimented on her necklace and conversed with her as she prepared our drinks. She ended up serving us only 4 shots. My friend clarified 5 shots which she threw away and said, "come back when you're actually ready to order". By then my other friend was frustrated and proceeded to the front to wait for the bartender to serve us again. She glanced over and looked away and so my friend had to wave her down to which she said, "it was extremely rude for you to wave at me. I won't serve you" my friend then replied, "fine I don't want drinks from you anyways" We proceeded to the main stage and ordered drinks from the bartender there with no problem! He even had a conversation with me! As he finished our drinks, manager came to us and gave us a warning to not mistreat our staff. We told him we didn't swear or use profanity towards her and I even said we were polite towards her. I then proceeded to say, if we were rude customers why did we treat this bartender with respect then? To which he said, "this conversation is over, respect my staff". We took our shots from the bartender, thanked him and left the club. The female bartender was beyond rude. And we were courteous to her the entire time and I even had a pleasant conversation with her prior to her treatment of us. Once my friend told her we needed another shot was when she reacted so escalated towards us, I can see why the reviews are so low for this place in regards to their staff. I will always be supportive for advocating for your staff. But I just wonder why is it when management heard her story and saw we were respectful to another bartender, to still reprimand us. I'd understand if we were rude to both. But clearly we were respectful and maintained boundaries with both bartenders. They could've listened to our side of the story, we were calm and trying to explain it as he cut us off. How they dealt with this is terrible, I won't be back. And if you're gonna tell me to email you about my complaint. Already did. Fix your staffing issues please or expected to see a gradual decline in your customers. My girls and I had an excellent time at Temple! It was my first time since I was visiting Denver from Miami, but my friends had been here a few times prior. One of them had David's contact information and we got in touch with him about getting a table for us. He was very professional, welcoming and on his game! David ended up arranging the entire night for us, set up the table and even got us backstage behind the DJ booth later in the night. He was one of the best promoters I've ever had (and 100% better than any of the promoters I've been a guest of in LA, NY, and Miami). I highly recommend getting in touch with him if you want to have an amazing night. Overall, the music was great, a fun crowd and the atmosphere is well designed and looks great in photos. Probably one of the best clubs I've ever been to. A lot better than the temple in San Francisco. This one has chandelier that strobes ever which way, acrobatic act and excellent sound system. Temple is a fantastic nightclub. I don't usually go to nightclubs much, but the experience my wife and I had here was fantastic. We came here on a Friday night with some friends to have a good old night on the town. As soon as you step into Temple you can tell that the nightclub is the best in Denver. The sound system is unreal, the LED light boards are AWESOME, and the staff are actually really chilled out. Temple reminded me a lot of the nightclubs back in the UK. my blood is still boiling almost 12 hours later. last night we went to see one of our friends play there and had never been to this venue before. so we had gotten there early and one of my girl friends and i were chilling in the dead as f**k "VIP" section that literally no one else was in. I am deeply disappointed in how this establishment's corporate sales manager handled an ordeal; and is still inciting . There was a dispute that happened with me and the sponsors; and we decided to part ways. There was multiple emails and a peerspace inquiry that showed that my company was hosting a nighttime party; and that sponsor was just a sponsor. I was on multiple calls with the corporate sales manager and she was fully aware that I was planning a night time event and the company involved was just sponsoring it. When the dispute occurred, I was informed that there was no contract that was signed and that the sponsor's deposit was invalid. The person from Temple who told me was 100% sure that this was the case and I was grateful to have learned that. I asked for the contract to be sent to me. When the corporate sales manager got back, she made it seem like she didn't even know who I was and made it seem like my company was just there to promote.....which was not the case at all. She just allowed a sponsor to hijack an event and wouldn't even send us proof that a contract was signed. After getting the memo that she didn't want to send us a contract that was supposedly not signed during the time that I call on Friday; and that you don't seem to recall who I was in the 3 different meetings that I attended in the past or what companies were involved outside of wNFT........ After making a Google Review, their corporate sales manager sent a nasty email saying I she did offer alternative dates (keep in mind she offered alternative dates after the Google Review). Also, keep in mind that I had to request alternative dates after she refused to provide a copy of the contract and allowed the sponsor to hijack the event. Terrible experience, its like you have to talk to people four different times for them to know who they are or these folks don't even care who is who as long as they get paid? I would not recommend at all. Update: To also clarify, Temple Denver folks are now trying to say that I work for the company as some event planner or promoter and that I was removed... This is false. I own my own company. Stop degrading my title and worth. It was a mutual seperation after the sponsor started using my name in ways that I did consent to. Nice club. Nice lights. Good DJ. Front door staff was pleasant. Paid for open bar. Terrible experience. All of the bartenders were rude, pretentious and amateur. Well liquor is more watered down than any other dance club I've ever been to. Don't pay for open bar unless you like drinking water from rude AF losers for bartenders. Ordered a double Belvedere on the rocks, twist of lime. $20 bucks, I didn't care about the price of the alcohol. Tipped $15 on that drink. Still received poor service after that because I was still wearing an open bar bracelet. My take after spending over $200 on an experience, I would have paid $1000 if the club was worth it. But it isn't. Denver nightlife including this place needs a face-lift, and an attitude change. This Temple is for those that have zero class, and don't have a clue how to run a nightclub that appeals to an international crowd. If they fired the entire staff they might have a chance. Sad. Would rate this less than one star if possible. My friend was kicked out for no apparent reason. Security took him from me on the dance floor and while I followed and asked for an explanation no one told me anything. I proceeded to have an anxiety attack while crying for my friend and asking why he was being taken and no one explained , told me anything, or made sure I was okay. Once I was able to get up and gather myself I was told that females are over dramatic and full of too much emotion. This place is sexist and I wish I never spent my money there. Why haven't I said anything about this club? I've been here on a total 8 times, including the Mirus gallery next door. Although the club infrastructure is not great for large crowds of people (there are 3 levels all facing the main stage but only one flight of stairs connecting all 3 floors and 2 sets of bathrooms located on first and second floor near doorways that tend to get packed when lines of girls need to go), it does offer two dance floors (hip hop themed on the first floor to the side of the mainstage with awesome lights, and the main stage which tends to be banger like progressive house), LED and light show entertainment and space to move and dance around. I've been here on occasions where there have been special guests in addition to their resident DJ's (ATB, Wolfgang Gartner, EDX, Deorro, Hook n Sling, and others). Sometimes the floor is packed, and sometimes its spacious. I especially enjoy my time when it is spacious but when it is packed...well, you all know how that is. It gets dirty and sloppy, and people push and move you. Regardless, the fact that its tied to a local art gallery and you can easily get in for free via guest list and promotional, it makes the clubbing experience still an experience without having to spend a fortune for a good time. The Mirus Gallery offers that "let me cool down and relax with pleasant things to look at, then go back to dancing" option that I'm such a fan of. Some places only offer outside to rest before returning so it's nice when there's another indoor place to hang out with aesthetically decorated walls (not to mention when its freezing out too). Why 3 stars? Infrastructure and bathrooms can be improved. Maybe the owner can consider redesigning the place. It has much potential in terms of location, and I'm sure it can be more epic. Also, the very first time I came I was confused about dress code posted on their site. Perhaps thay can be updated to reflect the local and chill crowd that comes here, although it does have a variety that dress both casual and nice. read more

I saw Wolfgang Gartner and wasn't impressed with this venue after the DJ rescheduled then got cancelled elsewhere. The bathrooms were gross and so was the lack of dance floor. If you want bottle service this is your club apparently since it had a ton of tables. The sound system was bomb and the LED lights were cool. If I am dying to see a DJ maybe I will go here... Please start reducing admission size, it is far too crowded for the actual space allotted to dance. It's so sad because so many great artists get booked here, only for the most mid experience to be endured. What's the point of a good headliner if you don't have the space to exist? Why wouldn't the Temple brand want to have a legacy that people are excited about? Temple has multiple locations in the US which all bring in A class DJs. If they have the money to book them for that, surely they have the money to be able to purchase a new venue with more space if they'd like to keep selling tickets the way they do. Then they could keep this venue for smaller artists/shows and have two locations in Denver, helping solve the small list of clubs here and the issue of no space within their current existing location. The entire crowd consists of college age kids who don't know any better and are just looking for a place to go. Adults who are actually experienced enough can understand that this venue does not allow for any basic human need to be met- starting with space. The only way you'd have fun as an adult is by purchasing a VIP table for a few hundred dollars! read more

However, when you stand around for hours listening to a DJ play songs from a computer and the artist shows up after 1am for 20 mins and doesnt even play one full song it really shouldn't be called a concert but an appearance. Really disappointed in Temple as an establishment, changing the wording on your event page the day of the event is deserving and taking advantage of peoples money, not good business and I heard from others that this has happened before. On a good note my ticket was only 10.00, the venue was cool and the sound was great. (Why you got two stars). So if your going to a "concert" save your money unless you like standing around watching people get wasted not even worth 10.00. Ps. Your security/bouncers are garbage. Went 1/12/19. Great club. They had an art gallery attached which was kind of like a waiting room. I ended up falling asleep in a corner and the bouncer just kindly woke me up and told me I couldn't sleep there, so I woke up real quick and started walking around. I came for the hip hop room. It was great up until they changed DJs. It went from a black DJ to a white DJ (don't want to stereotype but...). You could tell the room started to thin out after the second DJ started playing. The main room was great too. I've been to Temple in SF and although not as great, Denver Temple is still a good spot. I'll probably be coming back. read more

If I could give this place a 0 I would. The night started out with the bouncer inappropriately touching my friend (girl) which we ignored at first. Then as we went through the club the bartenders were great but the bouncers were sexual assaulting my male friend. I was dragged by two 200+ pound males as a 120 lb female. I get getting kicked out (totally fine) but to be assaulted by two men is not okay. I said let me just get my phone and they gave me straight up bruises from how hard they grabbed me. My favorite "big club" in Denver. With two main rooms, one is a huge stage and dance floor with multi level viewing areas, while the other is smaller and more intimate. It's a fun club but workers are extremely rude, right after club closed I realized I left my card in a check book and asked one of the security guards if I could go back in and get it, they told me no and while one security guard was trying to ask me the description of the card and the name on it, the other security guard promptly said time to go and slammed the door in my face mid conversation!! This is a fun club itself but the people that work there are definitely not nice people, I've read some reviews and honestly I don't really think it's a race or homophobic issue I just believe the people that work here are not kind people. read more
