I just moved to the area and tried this place for the first time yesterday. As soon as I walked in the door a part of me thought I needed to leave immediately. It is so typical and that's really scary to me, cluttered, unorganized looking and in desperate need of a makeover. And for all appearances not so clean. You'd think after telling the man at the desk you hadn't been in before he might have been a bit more friendly or welcoming. No, not happening, no one was particularly nice or welcoming. I couldn't find a place to put my purse or drink but quickly realized if I twisted my body like a pretzel there was a tiny table filled with old tattered magazines and if I twisted some more I could clear a spot to sit my belongings. The super creepy part is all the interior cameras blatantly pointed directly at you. I don't do the fake acrylic nails, just a simple manicure and pedicure and I will say they were both adequate. It's clear to me this business isn't very customer friendly but they get the job done. I'm undecided about returning. read more

Although my first time here, I have to start off with a terrific review! I found everyone friendly, it was busy on a Monday morning so people have to like it, and I could tell that they were steady customers. I had Tony do my fill, and Kelly do my pedicure. Both were meticulous, careful, caring, and darn right great!! Actually, Tony painted the design on my toenail, and it was really different and beautiful! When I fist moved here I was looking for a nail salon to continue my services. This salon is close, so I stopped in. The young lady at the front desk is RUDE. My nails lifted and I was NOT happy. I paid extra to have a total of 20 minutes for a massage during my pedicure. All together I got 11 min. The polish was all over my toes and not cleaned off all of them and the ones he did attempt to clean off he ended up taking polish off the nail and not fixing it. I complained to another employee and he repainted them for me but I will definitely not be back. read more

The staff is not friendly at all. But worst of all, the woman doing my pedicure kept digging the metal tool into the side of my toes and I actually yelled "ouch" three times and had to keep asking her to be careful. Then, she took MY nail polish (I brought in my own polish) and put thinner in it. When I told her no, it was too late. How could my polish need to be thinned out when it was brand new? Wouldn't you at least ask someone first if it was ok to do this? Then, when she got to my manicure I switched to a light pink and she made a mess out of that. So, she took it off and put on clear. Yep, I left w three coats of clear polish on my nails. I could have done that myself. I will NEVER step foot in this salon again. Horrible!!!!!!! read more

The main point of this review is, This company sucks and I hate that it's In Vistancia. If you are looking for a nail salon in VISTANCIA please go to Beauty Boutique by Walgreen's. The other bad reviews are right! They act entitled and idk if it was because I just got off an 9 hour shift and wanted to change into lounge clothes to get my nails done or because we are of color that she didn't think we were gong to pay, but that's NOT OK. Especially because they over charged me last time and I didn't give them hell. I HATE the idea of writing reviews so that will tell you how mad I am! They are, cheap, unfriendly, and don't know what customer service is... I had the worst experience I have ever had at any nail shop I've ever been to and I lived in Detroit, Michigan. I am a resident of Vistancia and went to the shop with my cousin to get a full set. Before I say more let me just say that the first time I went they told me my full set with gel polish would be $30 but then charged me $43. KEEP THIS IN MIND BC THEY BLAME RAISING PRICES ON THE LANGUAGE BARRIER. I was polite and did not raise my voice at all despite having my niece with me who looks white but she is biracial they were harassing me and my cousin asking who's she was despite telling ALL of them that she was my niece up front. Also the lady with the glasses was doing my nails (the older one) and she kept telling my niece not to move when it had nothing to do with my nails and I told her to talk to me and not my niece because she does not have to listen to you!! very f*ucking rude off the bat. This time I dd not bring my niece- just my cousin and I. When we got there they seemed like they did not want to service us because it was close to close but we did ask before we came in and the manager with the Sh tsu dog hair told us that we could-2 gel full sets WE MADE THAT CLEAR. Once I get in the lady with the glasses from LAST time tells me to sit down and I do- at this point you can tell her employees are irritated even though this is there job. The man says gel is 20 I say ok... I confirm if its a full set with gel, he says yes.. then he takes off my white nail polish that was chipping off already and while I'm picking my color he is being very short and rude with every question I ask & this whole time the lady with the glasses is standing over me literally the whole time- I even asked a question and he didn't respond so the manager had to ask him in Chinese even though he d*mn well knew English. THEN THIS IS THE PART I LOST IT- the lady with glasses was still standing over me asking me what color and I am getting angry at this point bc I am the only one in there that she is standing over, and normally they don't sit there the whole time. I then raised my voice and said "Not yet, I will let you know!" then the guy (still has a little girl attitude) says well you need t hurry and pick a color and I'm like ????? hes like I'm about to paint your nails & im just like never ever ever did I say I was getting JUST polish. THEN he throws the file or whatever he had down and yells to the manager "OH, NOW SHE WANT FULL SET" with an attitude. So at this point I don't even want him to touch me- I don't want any of there service or I didn't want to give them any money. So i say "That's fine I don't want any of your service" and he yells "$5 for what I did" I said "FOR WHAT" and the manager is like "for what he just did to your nail" and then looks at my nails and says "he joking, he joking" even though he was dead serious. I then left and my cousin tells me they are in the shop talking about how I could not afford it and I just don't understand(THIS IS COMING FROM THE MANAGER AND THE STAFF) He had the nerve to try and charge me $5 for the horrible service and was being so f*cking rude oh my lord, never have I EVER been so disrespected by any nail tech. THEN I called the manager and she was acting scared and like she had no idea what I was saying asking me what's the problem like she doesn't know. What the problem is, is that she hired family instead of people who actually like doing nails and going to work and she doesn't care because it's family. Poor business. sorry for typos and misspelling- I am currently at work. Also I am probably missing a lot of what happend because I don't have time but just know they suck. Very inconsistent you go once you get good service go the next time disappointment try to avoid the shorter kid with the blonde bleached hair he did about a 10 minute pedicure and then leaves you just sitting there tells you don't move sits down and starts watching videos I could've had my six-year-old niece do them better, I have tried other places but thought I would give them another try disappointing Because they are so close and their $20 pedicure isn't worth it. I loved that the salon was so close to home. Last time I went the nail tech acted like it was an inconvenience to do my nails and rushed to get it done. I will never go back. I've been to this salon multiple times since it is so close to home but I will never go back. I called ahead and they told me to come right away and they will get started. Well 20 min of waiting they start my nails (wrapping in tin foil) then I'm told that he has 2 appts so he stopped working on me and I sat there for over an hour waiting for him to come back! Then I'm switched to another person with no apology. Just a way to get me in to make money. And to top it off they charged me $10 more than last time, I showed him the receipt from last time and the date, he said oh yeah hmm idk and charged me more with sitting there for over an hour! You'd think they'd at least compensate for that. Every single time I go the price magically changes. I'm not one to leave bad reviews but this was horrible. For the location/neighborhood this salon is located in (an upperscale area) this place should be better. For one, it looks like nothings been cleaned in the shop since they moved in. The entire place is dirty and dumpy. The stereotypes of nail shops where no one speaks to you, but in front of you in another language only is derived from places like this. It's a crapshoot depending on which tech you get on how your nails will turn out. I'd say at least 25% of the time I'm not thrilled with the turnout of my nails. I get great service every time I come here, which is about every two weeks! Lana does great lashes and Tina is great for a manicure and pedicure! Friendly staff- great prices. This place is awesome!!!! Everyone there is fantastic. They are all great at whatever they do. Not always the friendliest staff, infact....they aren't very friendly but their great work makes up for it!!! My Gel nails last 3-4 weeks, and Pedi's last 1 1/2 months!!!! My family from California can hardly wait to get here to go to Temptations!!!! I've been to a lot of nail/Pedi places in my life in California and NV.....this is THE BEST!!!!!!!!!! Ive got my nails done twice here. The first time, it was okay. But the second time I asked for acrylics and it was honestly the worst Ive ever experienced. Very painful. The acrylic was applied WAY too thick by the end. like it looked like i had oversized 6 inch tall nails. The color wasnt anything like i wanted. I told them the color and they brought a different color and i told them thats not it. but they already did a hand and said theyd charge to redo it since it was gel. NEVER GOING BACK read more

I just had my third appointment with this salon and have had a good experience each time. The first time I came in I had a broken acrylic and Jamy got it repaired beautifully. In between the first and second trip in I tried a different salon and they ended up shortening my nails way too much. The next time I needed to get a fill I came back here and Eva took care of me. She was awesome. She got my nails back to the proper length and looking fabulous. I made another appointment with Eva before I left the shop and will continue to come back. read more

I honestly love this salon. I had went to the Nail Shop before I started going here and they were horrible, so trying something new had me skeptical for a while. The first time I went I sat down with Jamy, I got acrylic with a gel coat over them and it was exactly what I wanted! I go back every 2 or 3 weeks now and only sit with Jamy, she is the best and always gives me what I ask for! Super friendly. Absolutely love this shop. Clean, great techs and they actually listen to what you want. Awesome to go to a salon where they actually provide customer service, want the clients to be happy and appreciate your business. Kathy is my tech, been going to her for about 5 years and followed her to this shop but have had Bryan and Adrian when Kathy is gone. All of their techs are wonderful, several have done my granddaughters nails when she comes with me. Love Temptation Nails. I have to laugh at the post by Melani about Kathy yelling at the receptionist. First of all, this shop is normally very busy therefore, if you want a shorter wait time call and make an appointment to cut down on your wait time. Walk ins will be fit in around appointments just like any other shop. Another point I need to make is Kathy would never yell at any employee in front of anyone! She left the shop I originally went to because of the rudeness of the owner. She does not disrespect her employees...if she has something to say she takes them aside out of the main shop area, she never yells and certainly not in front of customers. If you have an issue with something, ask them or point it out, they will do their best to make it right. If you feel you asked for a service you did not get, ask so they can explain or make it right. Yes they often speak in their language which is Vietnamese because they have a couple of employees who do not speak fluent English but they are not talking about customers. I prefer businesses to speak English as well because it does make customers uneasy when they don't understand what is being said. This shop changed owners just a few months ago so they are also going through some changes to make it a more enjoyable experience for customers. I went in for a gel manicure. Told them my existing gel polish had to be soaked off first. They proceeded to wrap my nails in foil with a little bit of acetone on a cotton pad. I sat there for about 30 minutes and the gel polish wouldn't budge. I told him that my usual manicurist just soaks my finger nails in acetone and it comes off within five minutes. They told me they don't do that anymore because it eats the skin... Funny, I think it I would know if it had eaten my skin before. Then one lady shows up with a pic and tries to hack the polish off my finger nails, leaving a dent in my nail. Just because they are too cheap to pour some acetone in a dish. I walked out and I will never be back, I walked to Safeway bought a bottle of acetone nail polish remover, and got the polish off myself in less than five minutes. I wouldn't come back to this place if it was the last nail salon on the planet read more
