0 stars wasnt an option. I have given this salon and new owners several chances. Since new ownership a perfectly good salon has gone completely down hill. If you want to go to a salon where you are consistently overcharged with no reciept or explaination then this is perfect for you! in addition to this i have came here several times since new ownership for convince and since then i have never seen one tool being cleaned. Service here is terrible! Even with an appointment they are so overpacked and service is poor. They rush you out to get the next person in. I brought my 9 year old daughter in with me for a mani/pedi and they were so rude to her. I had a manicure and they didn't even soak the nails before cutting the cuticles; made for a super unpleasant experience! I have probably gone here at least 20 times and try to excuse the poor customer service each time, but today was 100% the last time. read more

Employees were nice but that's about it. My nails weren't the shape I asked for, they couldn't do the simple design I asked for, and the cherry on top was my thumb nail broke AS I WAS PAYING. I really am not one to complain, or even right reviews, but this place was such a rip off I want to warn others. I went in and my pedicure took probably about 15 minutes in total which should have been my first warning. She did not cut my nails and filed them very quickly. When she was done she quickly moved to the next customer. After she left, I realized that most of my nails were not even and there was a ton of polish on my skin. I also paid extra for a callous remover and the bottom of my feet were super rough and you could see the dry skin peeling off. I first asked if they could fix more of the callouses or at least take the extra charge off and they said it was my fault because I don't come in often enough. I didn't even ask for them to fix the other mistakes because I figured that would also be my fault. If I could give 0 stars I would. Time to find a new place. read more

The "owner" was removing my dip nail polish and I asked to please be careful not to drill my mail to remove the polish only to be told he was the "professional" and he needs take off the top polish. Which I of course understand but I have had them drill so much they do drill my nail. Only to have him glare at me through my entire mani/pedicure appointment. This was my first visit to this nail salon, and I will definitely be back. I did not have an appointment, I was a walk in. They were able to take me right away. I was helped by Tee, she did an amazing job on my gel manicure and gel pedicure. The salon as a whole was very friendly and efficient. I also had a nice conversation with one of the other customers. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Unfortunately, I was unable to snap a photo of my nails. But 2.5 weeks later they still are holding strong, no chips or peeling. read more

I see Adrian regularly. Adrian does a wonderful job. I'm a bit of a pest and he works well with my request. I like my nails very thin and with that you run a risk of a nail crack or chip and loss. I have been seeing Adrian for a year... never have I had a crack or chip or loss and I only visit monthly. I get compliments on my nails all the time. Adrian is quick, yet provides a beautiful end product. His is not only great as a nail teck, but he also does really cute nail art. He is sweet, funny and all around probably the best nail guy I have ever had and I have seen a few in my years. I highly recommend. read more

For a local shop in our community, this shop is a true disappointment! I have been disappointed 3 times... And will not try again! The shop is not a very nice atmosphere. They don't greet you in a friendly manner. They make you wait even when you have an appointment. Just disappointed since we should come out feeling positive and pretty since we are paying for such services. 1st time I got an acrylic fill with gel polish and within a week my nails lifted. 2nd time I got a gel manicure and it peeled off within 4 days. 3rd (and final) time the guy said my nails are "too thin from having acrylics" and I need to "dip them in powder (extra $10) to help the polish stick. And here we are, a week later, the gel is peeling and cracked and my nails are broken and look awful! They speak in Vietnamese in front of you when they could speak English, which I find disrespectful. read more

I was a loyal customer of Temptation Nails since I moved here in 2016. The owners Bryon and Kathy were wonderful people and treated their customers with respect. After they sold the business to Sing and his partner(s) I had to stop going to Temptation Nails. I had mentioned a concern of mine regarding how long a $50 pedicure should last, under Bryon and Kathy the pedicure lasted 45 minutes. ( Under Sing the pedicure was lasting 20/25 minutes) When I asked Sing he threw his arms in the air and quite loudly announced " You need to talk to the technician, they are independent contractors. I don't tell them what to do". I was so embarrassed by his reaction!!! Since that was my last appointment at Temptation Nails, I had told Bryon I wouldn't be back, I didn't know Bryon and Kathy had left. I was reading yelp reviews about other local shops and found a review of Dip Nails on Lake Pleasant. And found people posting that Bryon and Kathy were a great addition to the staff at Dip Nails. I made an appointment and had a great experience receiving a pedicure that lasted 45 minutes! At that time I was able to confirm Bryon and Kathy were indeed at Dip Nails!!! The place was mediocre at best. Went for the first time today with my mom for pedicures. We called and made appointments so we could be at the same time. That seemed to not matter to the business, we walked in a few minutes before our appointment at 9am to the place being pretty busy already. It felt like they just take everyone appointment or not as they walk in and you get who you get. We at least were both sat in pedicure chairs but my mom's started a good 10 minutes before mine. She ended up with someone other than who she had the appointment with. She was disappointed about that and this was supposed to be a treat while she visited. We both opted for the #3 pedicure on the list which cost about $25. It was basic at best and it didn't really do anything for callous removal. Probably should have gone with a higher package to get them taken care of. The massage that came with the package was probably 2-3 minutes at best, not sure if my tech cut it short to end about the same time as my mother's but it felt rushed. Just as it started to feel good he stopped. This was a very basic pedicure. Soaked feet, trimmed and cleaned up nails, rubbed a coarse brush over the bottom and side of my feet, a 2-3 minute massage then one swipe on each leg with a hot stone, finished off with polish that after a close look when I got home didn't even cover the entire nail. Based on this and how rushed everything felt I will not be back. I could have done a better job at home. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! Worst nail experience I've ever had mind you I've been getting my nails done for years... I live in vistancia so I decided to give this place a try AGAIN before I had to go to work. THEY DID A HORRIBLE JOB. The lady who did my nails didn't even take the existing powder off from my last set which was PINK and just put new powder over it WHICH WAS BLACK!!!! I didn't have time for them to fix them this day because of work so I came in this morning to get them fixed. The owner said I'd have to pay the difference to get them fixed and I was like uhh no I'm not paying anymore money for you guys to fix the problem you created! He basically blamed my nails being done poorly on "miscommunication"?!?! So I said I just want my money back then cause I'm not paying more money. He said in order for me to give you your money back I have to take off your nails!!! WHAT!!! Any way I let him do it and told him I would NOT be returning!! HE LEFT MY NAILS LOOKING AWFUL!!!! I moved to Arizona from Northern California in Jan 2015 and the first thing I did was start my search and research for all of the suppliers for my beauty needs. hair, nails, massage, lashes and supplies. I have tried a lot of nail shops from lake pleasant to Vistancia. Estrella Nail & Spa, Herbal Nail Bar and Krazy Nail Spa to name a few. They all have their good and bad but what I love about Temptation Nail Spa is that they ARE friendly. They don't PUSH their suggestions on me. If I make a decision that they know is not a good one, they let me know and DO AS I ASK ANYWAY without getting mad at me. They talk in their native tongue AND in English. I don't feel that it's disrespectful because my daughter and I have GREAT conversations with the men and women working there. I don't feel like I'm in a cattle call and I have NEVER waited when I arrive with an appointment. My pedicure and gel nails look GOOOOD when I leave and I have never had to return for a repair because of an error they made. But I have done a few things to mess up my own nails and I didn't blame it on shoddy workmanship. In life, you get back what you give. I have seen some customers come in with their snooty disrespectful attitudes and turn the whole place cold. I have a hunch.....just a hunch...they're the ones writing the bad reviews. Not a happy camper. I usually go to my nail salon but I needed to get into something nearby my work to remove my acrylics and get a gel manicure. Called for an appointment and came in right on time... told me it was going to be another 10 minutes and I would have to get a regular manicure instead of gel to accommodate time. As soon as I finished drying my nails they started bubbling and dried with air pockets. The photo is the day after they were polished... smudged, chipping, and rough air bubbles. I definitely do not recommend this place. I'm usually not picky and pretty easy going but this experience was that bad to post a review. read more
