On 2/2/25 I went to this business for an inspection. They pulled my car right in so I just stood outside talking on my phone because I knew it would be quick considering there was on one other vehicle in the garage. The guy told me that it would be 10 minutes. I said ok. They told me that my car didn't pass because of my catalytic converter. The guy told me to bring it back tomorrow. He wrote on my paper drive 80 miles or 15 days. I told him that my converter was changed in October. He shrugged his shoulders. I knew that was flat out lie. I took my to another place that same day within a couple of hours from this visit. My car passed without hesitation. Ive been a customer of ten minute oil for the last 4 or 5 years for inspections only. This is the last time that i will patronized you. I went in for an oil change. I knew I had a small oil leak. The manager came out and sold me on replacing steering fluid (an additional $45) I was very clear I had an appointment and needed to be gone by a particular time. 20 min later the manager came out and said I needed a new oil pan and tires. He described they did a temporary fix and used a welding solution to fix the issue temporarily. But he insisted I needed a new oil pan at or about $489.99 plus tax. I told him I would come back later in the day but had a previous appointment. He rudely and sarcastically replied "it's your car, you should want to fix it." I told him I would come back but I had another appointment. As a woman of my word I did return the same day about two hours later (if that). I asked the gentleman to explain to me the problem. He did, with a smile this time. And said it would take 4-5 hours and to come back in the morning. The next day when I got ready to move around I noticed the oil leak went from a couple of drops to a full on puddle. I took my car for a second opinion and was informed the oil pan was no longer leaking but the 10 centimeter hole was man made. The cost would be about $500 to repair and take approximately 2 hours to fix. Beware. Yes I had a small oil leak however I did not ask them to repair it or provide a temporary replacement/ solution or complementary service. My wife had her oil changed in her 2016 maxima on feb. 7, 2019. I was in the garage that evening i noticed liquid on the floor that turned out to be windshield washer fluid. I took her car back for an explanation for the leak and was met by a RUDE & ARROGANT OWNER that blew me off & refused to address the problem. He said washer reservoir was already cracked & fluid leaked out when they filled it. A family of crooks. I went in for a $19.99 oil change and they then claimed I had a hole was in my coolant reservoir bottle. I was asked to come to the garage and they showed me coolant all over the garage floor. Sd they will order a new bottle in 45 min. and the cost will be an additional $119.00. They also said I have issues which my brakes. Needles to say no issues until I brought my car to their shop. I refused and on my way home my car began to run hot. I went to the auto parts store and refilled my radiator with coolant and now the car is fine. Now my breaks are all of a sudden squeaking. They will try and sabotage your vehicle to get more work and money out of u. My air conditioner was not cooling so I asked the mechanic to check my Ac because it wasn't cooling. He told me it would be $75 to do a diagnostic. After about 40 minutes the manager tells me I need a compressor and it will be $1300 and he could do it the next morning. The next day I took my car to the dealer and they fixed my car for $152. My husband took my car to this Desoto location and now 3 months and $1500 later...I am now taking my car to the dealership to correct all of the repairs they claimed were done by this Kwik Kar station. I tried working with the Manager, got no result. I called the General Manager and he never called me back after I explained what my concerns were...so neither of them were very helpful. My next step is to file a Consumer Complaint with the Texas Attorney General. The workers here have limited skills and only claim to know what they are doing. Beware and hold on to your wallet! I went here for a state inspection on my Benz that has less than 7000 miles. They came in and told me that there were cracks in my windshield that needed to be repaired. I said No. Then they came back in and said there was another problem with the fluids and I told them to do the inspection and nothing else. While I was sitting there a man came in complaining that he sent his 18 year old daughter to get the oil changed and they told her there were all of these problems with her car and charged her $600. They refused to give him his money back. He told them they took advantage of a college girl and this was not ethical. They starred at him and he left and they laughed. I had a flat and wanted to get my tire plugged so I took it over to 10 minute, assuming that they couldn't possibly screw up a tire plug. The mechanic broke off one of the bolts holding my wheel to the axel. Like how tf can you be this bad at your job?! I tried to get his name but he's one of those idiots who just gives one letter from his name which was a K. Tried talking to management and they are not being cooperative. While waiting for our car there was a lady that showed up at 3pm and her car had not been touched since she left it at 7am. All she needed was tires change and an oil change and they never called her to say they couldn't find where she left the keys in the car. She called them and they never called her back she said. She was pregnant and had no choice but to wait because she had to pick up her kids after being dropped off. The alignment was not done right on our car. After seeing we were being pushed to the side for oil changes and other services that walked up, they finally asked us to come back. We came back and so did a gentlemen who was there the day before. He was back because his work was not completed to his satisfaction either. I never saw one person leave this place happy and the manager is the worst . He walks around with an attitude in a leather jacket (I guess a greaser wanna be idk) not doing any work on cars while people wait at the counter. No estimated time is given and when it is given its no where near accurate. No sense of urgency either. Only thing enjoyable were the customers! Never ever returning. read more

Great work, $$ price is reasonable and best of all, they get you in and out. They inform you of any other issues you may have with your vehicle and offer to help fix it. They do have a mechanic on site most days...they have $5 off Tuesdays for the ladies which my wife takes advantage of and the waiting room is nice and clean. Tim Lang and staff went above and beyond to service my car in a timely fashion. All repairs needed were explained to me prior to service. Excellent customer service.
