Satisfying!! Very awesome. Sweetness at 100% did taste like a litte too much though. They have a happy hour so that the drinks are taken at 20% off. I received the entire thing including boba for under $5. They keep sealedx procucts lf tea that be purchased as well. Great brew and place.

I've been here many many times during my younger days but haven't been to this location in a while. I needed something fast and quick to eat so I ordered a milk tea and a pork belly rice. The pork belly rice was surprisingly good! I would definitely order it again.

This place has great service. I highly recommend the California Governor Gavin Newsom hot high mountain oolong tea. Great music and there is a huge patio area. Conveniently located in Monterey Park near various shopping options.

I tried their new afternoon-tea toast and it was great!! This is a great place to hang out with friends and I also love Oolong tea here.

Haven't been here for half a year. We had the kimchi fried rice, joy pot and a milk tea. The drink was good and not super strong. The the kimchi fried rice was and it came with a fried egg. The level of spiciness cannot be adjusts though. For the joy pot, it was good as well. The joy pot is like any other hot pot out there. So with the increased price, there could be many other better options/quality food elsewhere, especially for the pot.

This is one old-school looking tea shop. There are jugs of dried teas on the left when you walk but and even though that is is very traditional, I wasn't focused on that. I was focused to the menu on the right. The top 5 drinks. I ended up getting the boba oolong milk green tea. The waitress and drink maker were very nice and efficient. Got the drink in a jiffy with barely enough time to try their sample drink. My drink was good. They made it the way i like it with less ice and and less sugar. The oolong wasn't super prominent which is kind of a bummer but it was good enough. My friend and I were in and out within minutes. Don't seem like a good place to study and I'm not sure if they even have wifi. They have a bunch of other snacks on the menu and set plates with rice on the side, which all looked amazing but I was just craving some boba. I've always just passed by this Ten Ren but after this experience, I will be coming back when I'm craving that boba or if I want some fried pork chop, fried chicken, or some taiwanese sausage.

That rose milk tea with pudding drink. So good!

Damn I love this place and not because their awesome drinks are overpriced, but because their drinks are so good. I always get a large almond milk tea with pudding but costs over $5. Pretty pricey compared to many places. I've also gotten their Garfield milk tea which is basically milk tea mixed with brown sugar, in case you were wondering. Their strawberry milk tea was pretty good, too, with strawberry chunks included. They also have a sample of a drink each day. They had put out a sample of a cucumber green tea and it was surprisingly really good; just really refreshing, too. I'm planning on getting this the next time I come back. Friendly staff who were kind enough to make us drinks when they were cleaning up and getting ready to close. That was a mistake on our part as we thought they'd be closed a bit later. No complaints from them and they were still so nice. We come here often and prefer this Ten Ren that we are almost addicted. I wouldn't try their food, though, mainly because it doesn't seem so appetizing here. This place is quite small and also very quiet. They sell lots of tea gift sets here which takes up half their space.

Small, a bit crampy and a bit dusty looking compared to the other Ten Ren's, this Ten Ren still has it where it counts (for me at least) - solid drinks and solid Wi-fi. Seating here looks limited but you'd be surprised at how many people can fit here. The service here was pretty solid - I got my iced passion fruit green tea drink a bit quicker than I expected and the people running this place seem friendly. You can find plenty of parking at the rear of the building. Overall, it's not a bad place to pass some time but there is a larger and newer looking Ten Ren on nearby Atlantic!

I haven't been to this location in a long time and was craving for there food and drink. I am glad they are open so I have another place I can go during my lunch break at work. They have a really good amount of selections on food and drink. The online order system was very easy to use and I can do curb side pick up. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen and jasmine green tea. They were so delicious! The ramen was flavorful and has enough of meat, corn, egg, and soup to fill you up. I decided to get the jasmine green tea instead of my usual pineapple green tea because the pineapple green tea for some reason makes my throat dry and causes me to cough later. I don't know if it's the powder they use in there or what, but I wouldn't order that again. The jasmine green tea was just perfect. It was refreshing and don't have to worry about those issues. They have a huge parking structure, but on a normal day it gets really busy. I am glad I can take advantage of the curb side pickup right now while I can. The staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend trying there drinks and food if you haven't got a chance to.

I think it was because my friend and I came here on a weekday, but this place was completely devoid of customers, which is awesome since most tea places are crowded and full of young people (don't take offense, I'm a young'n too) so it was nice to find a nice, quiet place like this to sit down and talk. The workers were very welcoming and nice. Parking was a challenge though. I parked at the supermarket next to it (on Garfield), so AGAIN, come here on a weekday. San Gabriel Valley is known for being super crowded and traffic-y on weekends. This Ten Ren has a cafe and tea store all in one. Their hazelnut milk tea was awesome, AND they didn't charge tax. The prices here seemed cheaper than the Ten Ren in San Gabriel or Arcadia.

My husband makes me a coffee from a phin everyday day for work and this is exactly what it taste like except the cream which elevated the coffee even more. We came back from Vietnam and the coffee in America has been subpar. This has been the only place that I would come back to consistently. Only for their coffee. My children like the Toastes Brown Sugar Boba and finished it quicker than most other places. There is a touch screen to order. I was nicely greeted when I walked in and the store was very clean with a a lot of seating. I found it odd that the middle was long and you have to walk towards the back to get your drink. But overall I'm coming back for that coffee!!!

Came Back for Our Usual... Left With Feelings About Parking & Sugar Levels…read more Hubby and I decided to circle back to one of our top 3 favorite boba spots (not that our list is super long lol), because after a delicious hot pot dinner we were seriously craving their Coco Mango. First things first... the parking here still deserves its own Yelp review. Whoever designed that parking situation... respectfully... why Parking still sucks, but we powered through. That said, it was actually really nice seeing this place busy and packed last night -- probably around 15-20 people inside. I was weirdly happy about it because I'd be genuinely sad if this place ever closed. Always good seeing people supporting a spot you love. We ordered our usual Coco Mango, and since I was feeling adventurous, I also tried the Dragon Fruit Aiyu. And not gonna lie... the Dragon Fruit Aiyu was delicious. Super refreshing, the dragon fruit tasted fresh, and the jelly inside was such a nice touch. Definitely a solid 8.5/10 for me. My drink was $6.95 and honestly worth trying if you want something fruity and lighter. Now for the Coco Mango... This drink usually never misses. The sweet coconut with that tart mango blend is usually chef's kiss every single time. We've probably been here close to 10 times, which is why I immediately noticed it tasted a little different last night. I ordered mine with the extra lychee popping boba (+$1), so total was $7.95, and I'd rate it around a 6.8/10 this visit. My husband always tells me to stop doing 70% sugar because "either commit or don't" and honestly... he might've been right this time. But even aside from that, both the coconut topping and mango felt less sweet than usual and just didn't have that bold flavor we normally love. Maybe it was because they were extra busy and moving fast -- totally understandable -- but it was the first time it felt a little less magical than usual. Still... one off night absolutely won't stop us from coming back because when that Coco Mango hits, it hits. We'll definitely be back and hoping next time our beloved Coco Mango returns in all its usual sweet, coconutty, mango glory. Happy drinks!

Varieties that Imen (the big boss at Tea Habitat) has personally procured directly, live, from the source throughout mainland China. She basically found the best stuff on her tasting ventures, making it a pretty exclusive menu of teas that you're highly unlikely going to find anywhere else in southern California, or perhaps all of California and the entire nation. You need this. You want this. You want to have it so bad, you want to relive the lingering euphoria of getting tea drunk - green tea, white tea, oolong... from royal grade to high mountain grade, harvested from centuries old trees. If some the tea names sound a bit nasty or unappetizing, it's to deter people from stealing it; hence, you may actually pleasantly surprised by its fragrance and quality. Super suggest setting an appointment for tasting, where the choice is pretty open from the list. The more expensive grade stuff though, will cost extra for a premium tasting set. And you'll be able to taste first hand, side-by-side, why certain dishware, especially the gold-lined cups, have an impact on how much flavor carries through. Quite profound. You can easily spend around 2 hours maximizing the steep of each set of tea leaves, while chatting it up with your bestest best mates. -Logistical notes: The location isn't that apparent, from the sidewalk, walk directly south towards the residential building, past the initial businesses on the side. It completely lacked the fresh buttery greens quality of real gyokuro. The jasmine was okay. I gave up on the hojicha without even trying it after everyone else wound up not liking their teas either (they didn't dislike it as much as I did with the gyokuro, it just wasn't great). Reviews seem positive for this place so I dunno what was up with our drinks. While the tea flavor, at least for the jasmine, was strong, it was so strong it tasted almost artificial (compared to similar tea-forward places).
