Quick and easy place for boba especially after getting shabu close by. Ordered via kiosk and got my drinks shortly. Limited seating here. Opted for a basic milk tea with boba. One of my top places for good boba. Perfect texture and chewiness. Their drinks do run on the sweeter side. Large sizes as well.

This is a new Wushiland in Alhambra. I've only tried the one in San Gabriel before. I walked here with my friend after dinner just to hang out and talk. When you first walk in, you'll notice the place is really clean. The self-ordering machines are on your left. My friend tried ordering there, but they weren't working, so I told him to order with the staff at the cashier up front. They only accept credit cards -- no cash. I didn't know you could order hot drinks until I heard my friend order a hot jasmine green tea. I was reading the menu on the board and didn't realize any of the drinks could be made hot. I was thrilled because I mainly like hot drinks. I ordered the Assam black tea. The tea was hot and strong -- I liked it. My friend didn't think the green tea had much taste, just a good jasmine aroma. This place closes at 11 p.m., so it's good for a drink after dinner. I'd come here again and maybe try other drinks.

I had a lovely experience at Wushiland Boba (Alhambra). I ordered the Four Seasons Tea ($4.24 - 100% sweetness - regular ice) with Mini Boba (additional 80 cents). It's phenomenal. The tea is distinct and crisp; the miniature boba are bouncy with an airy sweetness; and the prices are extremely competitive and affordable for its exceptional quality. This location's popularity is well-earned. (Important: Cash is not accepted. Card only.) I arrived at Wushiland Boba (Alhambra) on Friday (around 1:15PM). Parking is simple but crowded. The private parking lot is humongous; however, cars are constantly roaming. Luckily, I quickly found a parking spot. These spots typically say "60 Minutes Max." When I entered Wushiland Boba (Alhambra), there's no line. Customers can order at the counter or self-service kiosks. However, the counter's menus are confusing because they're two-sided. Customers need to flip them around to see different options. Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Staff maintained a bright smile, and Staff eagerly helped me with recommendations. Staff works hard. My drink took two minutes and 21 seconds. Fast pace! As mentioned, I adored the Four Seasons Tea ($4.24 - 100% sweetness - regular ice) with Mini Boba (additional 80 cents). The drink quenched my thirst. It's sweet, refreshing, and well-brewed. There's no bitter nor burnt taste; rather, it's crisp and clean. However, the mini boba is very distinct and high-quality! Whenever other boba businesses attempt mini boba, those pearls feel like little marshmallows that vanish with a light bite. However, Wushiland's mini boba actually feel like real, fresh boba that's simply tiny. To my immense surprise, these mini boba felt very bouncy and supple. In addition, Wushiland Boba (Alhambra) is extremely generous with the topping's portion size. I cheerfully savored these tiny sweet pearls because there were so many! "Delicious!!" Concerning ambiance, Wushiland Boba (Alhambra) is relatively clean and welcoming. The tall ceilings make the area feel spacious. The walls are sleek and modern. And the few tables are very clean and shiny. However, I spotted a wriggling half-squished cricket in the corner beneath its table. Staff needs to sweep a little more regularly. The restroom was also out-of-order. Regardless, I enjoyed the cheerful & upbeat pop music. The ventilation is also clean & fresh. I also appreciated the very few (about two) electrical outlets within reach of customers. This location had a steady flow of customers, yet everything moved quickly & smoothly like a well-oiled machine. Overall, I had a delightful experience at Wushiland Boba (Alhambra). It's a harmonious mix of affordability, quality, and generosity. If you enjoy boba & refreshing drinks, this is an easy recommendation. 4.8 out of 5. "Delicious!!"

So many great boba shops opening in the area! I always go for the roasted oolong milk tea. Quick service and if you're the person that needs more boba in your drink this is the place to go. The ratio of boba they add can be up to 1/3 of the cup!

Had to stop by at Wushiland Boba for a quick drink while during errands and it was so delicious. The price is affordable and they were so quick and efficient with making the drinks. The place was so nice and clean, they even have a kiosk self checkout. Will come back again :)

Alhambra doesn't have that many boba spots so it's not my favorite overall but it's really not bad. It's a franchise, convenient, cheap, just customize it to how you like it. This review is mainly a PSA so you know you can add up to TRIPLE tea shots for free and oat milk is also no additional charge (just make sure you press the oat milk option when ordering-- it's a separate menu item, not a substitution) I thought Wushiland was too milky, watered down until I found out about the free tea shots!! It makes a big difference! It's so reasonably priced for their large sizes and all the free adjustments you can make. ALSO if you love toppings then this is the place for you because they WILL load it up-- so much so that when you order they actually have a "less topping" option if you want the portion size that other places are probably giving you.

Solid five stars for the toppings. Wushiland Boba is toppings heaven as they put so much more than other boba shops I've been to, and I'm such a toppings girl. Just give me a bit of tea to go with my toppings! Ordering a bunch of drinks through the app was simple enough. We got a variety of milk teas and fruit teas. My friends enjoyed what they got and they said Wushiland has been rather consistent, and it's some of their fave boba spots. I enjoyed my milk teas with a bunch of grass jelly and lychee jellies. So good!!! The space outside is clean and there are benches. Inside looked pretty good too. Service wasn't experienced much, but the drinks were ready pretty quickly so we were happy with that.

This location is at the corner of Garfield and Main Street, across the street from the Regals Cinema (Edwards Theatre). There is plenty of parking. I had the roasted Oolong milk tea with mini boba at 30% sweetness level. It was perfect level of sweetness for me. I can taste the tea which is more than I can say for most milk tea places. There are other toppings available besides Boba. They also have grass jelly, coconut jelly and red bean. Service was quick and efficient. I enjoyed my beverage. I would be back to try other drinks.

The Wushiland in San Gabriel was always pakced, and I'm so glad to hear that there is another location that isn't in the bustling Shops at Santa Anita. The Wushiland here is located in a large parking lot, and if that's filled, there's several other free parking structures in the neighboring blocks. My favorite order at Wushiland is always their Four Seasons Tea with the Trio of toppings. At this location, ordering was easy with their self-service kiosks. Coming at a quieter time, staff could also assist, and the prices were also very affordable! One gripe about ordering here, though, is that their self-service kiosks... one had a screen that was unresponsive, and the other was both hard to press and very delayed. Other than that, no complaints! Clean store, bright aesthetics, relaxing atmosphere. Can't wait to return!

Alhambra got another great boba location. 7leaves better start counting their days, lol jk. Wushiland boba is probably my top 5 spots for boba, and that's just my opinion. You can never go wrong with the roasted oolong milk tea with boba or ice cream milk tea. Drinks came out quick and the staff was friendly. Place had barely any seats inside but you can find some outside. Parking is shared and can get a little difficult during rush hour. You're competing against folks that are shopping and dining.

Got the ice cream tea with grass jelly. I thought it was a pretty interesting take on milk tea. It's a bit sweeter than a normal milk tea and has a slight vanilla flavor from the ice cream. It wasn't for me but I can see why some people would like it. It's good enough that I'd love to stop by again to try other things on the menu. There's a few chairs inside but this definitely felt like a grab and go type of place. There's boba came out quickly and I had no complaints about the service.

My experience here for the first time was amazing! I'm already planning my trip back. The Boba here was nice and freshly made. I ordered myself a brown sugar, Boba milk and it was just phenomenal. I would definitely order that drink again or maybe try something new. The service here was fast and efficient, and the staff were very welcoming to their customers walking through the doors. The ambience here was nice and colorful and very welcoming. It's like, once you walk through those doors you will be like wow!

My husband is officially hooked on Wushiland Boba! He ordered the Four Seasons Tea Macchiato with 75% sugar and boba for the second time--and he loved it just as much as the first. He even said this will be his go-to boba spot from now on. The tea is fresh, smooth, and perfectly balanced--not too sweet, just right. The boba has great texture and flavor, not overly chewy or bland. The service was fast, and everyone looked very friendly, which made the experience even better. Located in the Alhambra Plaza, it's a convenient and welcoming spot. We'll definitely be coming back!

My usual order is mango oolong with grass jelly, which is still sweet enough for me at 0% sweetness. They take the tea seriously here - each cup is brewed upon ordering so it's not fast. They also have some cute twine to go around the top of the cup. The sizes are on the smaller side. They open at noon, so I've been too early to get something a few times. Heading back to LA again this week, I will probably end up here again at some point!

An Honest Review of "Chicha San Chen" in Los Angeles As…read moresomeone who values culinary quality and the finer details of life, I always enjoy exploring diverse food and beverage establishments. However, my visit today to "Chicha San Chen" in Alhambra, Los Angeles, resulted in an incredibly disappointing--and frankly, failing--customer experience. Beneath its over-packaging and fame from Taiwan, this establishment fails severely in fundamental customer service and care. Company Policy Over Customer Health The most baffling aspect is their insistence on prioritizing "company policy" over customer health! What I found most unacceptable during this experience was the store's arrogant attitude toward health and environmental requests. I prefer drinking hot tea. It is well known that commercial paper or plastic cups rely on chemical linings to prevent leaks. When exposed to high-temperature liquids, these cups can easily release microplastics and harmful chemicals, posing a potential threat to human health. Because of this, despite my fatigue, I walked all the way back to my car under the hot sun to fetch my own stainless steel thermos, fully expecting to enjoy a cup of hot tea in the safest and most environmentally friendly way. To my surprise, when I made the perfectly reasonable request to have the freshly brewed hot tea poured directly into my thermos, I was met with a cold refusal from the staff. Citing a rigid "company policy," they insisted that the scalding hot tea must first be poured into their disposable cup, handed to me, and then I would have to transfer it into my thermos myself. This absurd operational logic not only entirely defeats the purpose of bringing a reusable cup but also ensures that the high-temperature tea still comes into contact with the chemical coating, directly threatening consumer health. When I tried to reason with them from a health perspective, all I received was an uncompromising, utterly indifferent refusal. Left with no choice, I canceled my hot tea order. The business philosophy of a restaurant that refuses to respect its customers' basic health needs and lacks any flexibility is truly hard to commend. Soulless Service and Artificial Flavors Their service devoid of warmth and mediocre flavors make one realize that their reputation is merely a façade. The soul of the food and beverage industry lies in "people" and "flavor," yet this store performs poorly in both regards. First is the service attitude. The staff throughout the store acted like machines executing commands; there were absolutely no smiles on their faces, nor could I feel any warmth or hospitality. In a modern dining environment that values the art of hospitality, this icy service demeanor is highly uncomfortable. Second, not wanting to ruin the mood, I tasted the iced tea ordered by my family members. I initially thought a brand that prides itself on refinement would showcase the true depth of its tea leaves. Instead, upon tasting it, I found a distinct artificial taste in the flavoring that completely masked the natural, sweet aftertaste the tea should possess. For anyone who truly understands tea and cares about flavor, this is absolutely unacceptable. Overhyped Atmosphere Lastly, I must mention their interior design. Many Taiwanese chain tea shops of this kind advertise their spatial design as elegant, comfortable, and perfect for gatherings or romantic dates. In reality, the overall environment of this store felt incredibly ordinary and stiff. It completely lacked the premium feel they boast about, let alone any sense of romance or comfort. Conclusion A successful food and beverage brand can never be sustained solely by superficial marketing or rigid SOPs. When a store loses its respect for customer health and environmental consciousness, while simultaneously failing to provide sincere service, professional explanations, or natural and pure flavors, it has lost its core value to establish a foothold in the culinary world. This experience at "Chicha San Chen" was undoubtedly a massive letdown and deeply regrettable.

My husband makes me a coffee from a phin everyday day for work and this is exactly what it taste like except the cream which elevated the coffee even more. We came back from Vietnam and the coffee in America has been subpar. This has been the only place that I would come back to consistently. Only for their coffee. My children like the Toastes Brown Sugar Boba and finished it quicker than most other places. There is a touch screen to order. Came Back for Our Usual... Left With Feelings About Parking & Sugar Levels…read more Hubby and I decided to circle back to one of our top 3 favorite boba spots (not that our list is super long lol), because after a delicious hot pot dinner we were seriously craving their Coco Mango. First things first... the parking here still deserves its own Yelp review. Whoever designed that parking situation... respectfully... why Parking still sucks, but we powered through. That said, it was actually really nice seeing this place busy and packed last night -- probably around 15-20 people inside. I was weirdly happy about it because I'd be genuinely sad if this place ever closed. Always good seeing people supporting a spot you love. We ordered our usual Coco Mango, and since I was feeling adventurous, I also tried the Dragon Fruit Aiyu. And not gonna lie... the Dragon Fruit Aiyu was delicious. Super refreshing, the dragon fruit tasted fresh, and the jelly inside was such a nice touch. Definitely a solid 8.5/10 for me. My drink was $6.95 and honestly worth trying if you want something fruity and lighter. Now for the Coco Mango... This drink usually never misses. The sweet coconut with that tart mango blend is usually chef's kiss every single time. We've probably been here close to 10 times, which is why I immediately noticed it tasted a little different last night. I ordered mine with the extra lychee popping boba (+$1), so total was $7.95, and I'd rate it around a 6.8/10 this visit. My husband always tells me to stop doing 70% sugar because "either commit or don't" and honestly... he might've been right this time. But even aside from that, both the coconut topping and mango felt less sweet than usual and just didn't have that bold flavor we normally love. Maybe it was because they were extra busy and moving fast -- totally understandable -- but it was the first time it felt a little less magical than usual. Still... one off night absolutely won't stop us from coming back because when that Coco Mango hits, it hits. We'll definitely be back and hoping next time our beloved Coco Mango returns in all its usual sweet, coconutty, mango glory. Happy drinks!
