I've been to Ten a few times with my old car and I have nothing but great reviews every time I went. Not only did Ten, the owner, come out and talk to me personally but he made the evaluation and repair and was always very reasonable. The very first time I went to him was when I broke down just a shop over from him when I was running a couple of last minute errands before taking off on a road trip the next day. I happened to be right next to Ten's shop. I walked over and he was closing up , said he would look at it. He got one of his guys and they wheeled it over to the shop and he fixed it for me on the spot going about an hour and a half past closing. Who does that? He has been in business for many years and they do the job!!!! Thank you Ten. I had a slow leak in my tire and pulled in to Ten Total Auto Repair off Seminole Boulevard. Wow! They took me in right away, found the nail in my tire, plugged my tire, and had me out the door in about 15 minutes. Ten and his staff were super friendly. I was so thankful! Owner drinks/gets drunk and drives cars around. Was working there and have seen Ten say there is all these add ons when they are completely unnecessary. He takes cars in all the time and won't look at them for days. Has people make appointments and won't be there for them cause he is too hung over. Most of the used tires are kept outside in the elements so they are dry rotting and not worth the money he charges for tires people were throwing away cause they got new tires. Unless someone else does the work I've seen so many cars come back so many times because his repairs weren't what people actually needed and when they come back he sells them what they needed in the first place. He doesn't have set prices he just charges as much as possible and only gives you a reasonable price if you haggle with him. read more

This auto shop is amazing! I was enjoying a beautiful Florida day on my way to the beach when suddenly my rear back tire goes flat. Thud, thud, thud. We all hate that sound and can relate. I put air in the tire to try and tried to drive to a tire shop. The tire deflated within a 1/4 of a mile. The tire was a little damaged on the inside and The tire shops quote felt very high according to Google. Also needed a new alignment. Fortunately I came across Tens Auto Repair. This place is great! Everyone here is really friendly and know what they are doing. Ten himself found the issue right away, Ten is a friendly guy with a wealth of knowledge when it comes to auto repair. He found out my two front control arms were broken very quickly. He gave a phenomenal quote. I was more than happy and comfortable leaving my car here. Definitely trust worthy shop. After evaluating the reason for overheating, he first acknowledged safety concern present, but didn't acknowledge the issue in question. By discounting the two services & parts, we thought we'd be receiving actual assistance but of course was a HUGE SCAM. Who changes a front wheel bearing, for an overheating radiator? Someone who later claims it's a "minor" leak but also said it needed to be replaced. I had to bring my car back the very next day after spending nearly $1300 more than originally quoted, they ended up fixing this minor light ) and guaranteed additional services but ended up not executing. The shop owner is completely unprofessional. He makes very uncomfortable with flirtation, and is very defensive when not received pleasantly. *** completely personal opinion*** After declining flirtation, Ten did a slow "drive by" of our home and said with verbal harassment, in a different city, in a pretty secluded area . Don't trust this shop, the owner, nor vehicle with your safety. read more

I needed a new tire quick before a trip, I called this place because they were nearby and said they had one in stock and it could be put on the next day. they only have a used one for my specific tire size but to my surprise the used tire was really nice, and had way better tread than the rest of my tires that aren't that old (plus a GREAT price) I think this is a family run business and if it's not a family definitely works here together and I love that. Don't judge a book by its cover this place is a little rough on the outside but the people inside are very nice! read more

Always flirting and trying to constantly touch and grab! We didn't play with him and then his personality changes and became rude and nasty! Sexual harassment! This place is great when you have an emergent problem w your vehicle. I stopped by once for a tire plug.. was in & out in less than 10 minutes, another time for a bumper and underbody shield that was hanging down and missing clips. They took great care of me then as well & fast too. Never overcharged me & gave my car exactly what it needed. Can't give Ten and his guys enough credit. Last month my family and I drove from Orlando to Madeira Beach to spend the day at our favorite beach. As I park the car the volt meter starts going crazy and the car won't stay running if I take my foot off the gas. I call around and everyone one says maybe they could look at it on Friday. It was Thursday around noon and we are traveling from Illinois and 2 hours away from our hotel. I call Ten and explained everything and he said bring it in right away. So I left my family at the beach and bring it in. He looks at it and runs some test and says it needs an alternator. He calls around to find the part and says don't worry I get you fixed today. So I plan on waiting for the repair but he insisted on taking me back to the beach so I can enjoy the day with my family. Few hours later he called and said it was done and he was on his way to pick me up. Ten is an amazing person with an incredible life story that will pull your heart strings.
