My sister's, a friend and I passed several pleasant hours at Tenfold Coffee before heading to IAH today. We enjoyed excellent service, some great coffee and chai tea drinks while waiting for time to pass. We brought a deck of cards with us and played several hands of a game we enjoy with our friend before she dropped us off. This place has an amazingly calm, relaxed atmosphere. The baristas were very helpful and professional. It also isn't far from the airport. Finding this wonderful place allowed us to spend more time with our friend and made our wait much more pleasant than waiting at a gate for three hours before we could board our flight. Came here for iced rose tea and to do some work. Service was warm and prompt. Ambiance is spacious and modern. There's a table of goods for sale. They have good and reliable wifi. We stopped here while traveling, looking for good quality coffee and pastries. The pastries looked good but were too expensive for our tastes. $11 for an almond croissant! I am from California and I get the best French croissants in San Francisco (an expensive city) for half the price (Arsicualt). So that was a bummer. BUT...the coffee drinks were delicious and the atmosphere was awesome. We ended up getting breakfast burritos at the food truck outside and they were amazing and not too expensive. I love freshly made flour tortillas!! We enjoyed eating outside, as it was early enough in the morning that it wasn't too hot (yet). The service was great and I liked the ambience, especially the design of the place with the coffee roaster in view and lots of plants. This place is amazing! Highly recommend trying their cookies, they're def a small batch made in house type of cookie. There was a banana one the guy recommended that was to die for, and I don't even like banana like that lol. Got a matcha latte to go with it, that was also really good! this is a longtime favorite coffee shop of mine. I have been going for years. I love their Matcha and their unique flavors. unfortunately, I feel like the quality has gone down tremendously recently. I've been several times and the coffee is just not the same. I'm not sure what's going on. I do know they opened a new location so potentially they have a lot of their old staff there because every barista I've seen seems to be new but it's unfortunate to see one of my favorite coffee shops. Such a beautiful coffeeshop! The abundance of plants and spread out tables makes the place feel very open and modern. There's a table in the middle of the store that displays cute items from small businesses with an emphasis on sustainability. I ordered an iced vanilla latte with macadamia milk which tasted very strong! They're the only shop I know of that offers macadamia milk as an alternative milk option, and I'm glad I got it because it made my latte a lot creamier. My only complaint was that I couldn't taste the vanilla flavoring at all so the coffee was too bitter for my liking. However I will definitely come back and try their other drinks! There's also a huge parking lot in the back so finding a spot isn't a problem. Don't get me wrong this place has the perfect ambience for a coffee shop, friendly staff & tasty pastries. However, the coffee itself is just okay. My hubs got a vanilla latte and I got a Cortado with vanilla added & both of us cannot taste any vanilla & the drinks taste mainly of milk not even coffee-y. Aside from that we tried a very yummy pastry I forget what it was called but i believe the guy said it was a milk bun, with corn masa, egg & topped with kimchi. I would come back for that forsure & maybe to try a tea since the reviews seem to be good on the teas but for the hubs & I, personally- it won't be a go to coffee shop. read more

Bottom line: Airy ambience, plenty of tables and power outlets, and good wifi make it a great place to get some work done, even though the coffee itself won't blow you away for the price (esp. considering some of the up-charges on sweeteners / syrups / milks). Parking / Seating: Huge dedicated lot makes parking a breeze. Wide variety of tables (individual, group, and high-top), most with dedicated power outlets, mean that it's easy to find a seat quickly on most visits. Drinks: - Chai Latte: 3.5 out of 5 -- Pretty good, but a bit too milky (and not quite enough chai) for my taste - Latte (w/ vanilla): 4 out of 5 -- Nice cup of coffee, but feel like I've had better pure coffee (including @ Luce and Slowpokes, both a few mins away) All in all, a nice neighborhood spot to get out of the house / office and get some work done, or just hang with small groups of friends -- but wouldn't spend the money on the coffee if you don't have time to come inside. read more

I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the point-of-sale system inserts the "tip" option prior to any service being rendered. This isn't respectful of customers. Management should either increase base wages or provide tipping terminals at the exits, so that tips function as customarily intended--tips for the value of services rendered in excess of the price of goods purchased. This place seems pretty popular (came on a Saturday afternoon). There's a small parking lot next to the shop that customers may use. If that's full, then street parking would be the best bet. When walking up to the coffee shop, there are a couple of entrances; if you get confused, look for the two door-entrance as that'll take you right to the front counter. The shop has a decent amount of seating and most seats will have some access to a plug of some sort. There's a large table in the middle of the shop that can seat 7-9 people comfortably. Against one wall are a bunch of smaller round/square tables that seat 2 people each. The other wall has 3 raised tables that can seat 4 each, and finally there's a counter on a third wall that can seat 2-3 folks. Outside, there are a couple of chairs with a few small tables (can seat approximately, 6-10 people out there). All in all, there are enough seats, especially if you're willing to share tables with a stranger, however, not enough to where I'd feel super confident that I'll be able to meet other folks at the venue for a get-together (perhaps weekdays are better). I had the cold brew-shandy, which was decent, light and refreshing. The staff were friendly and helpful, no complaints there. The store had a pretty nice atmosphere and there's plenty of windows for natural lighting. On a really sunny day, there might be too much light coming in if you're working off a screen, but other than that, great lighting. Overall, a nice place to stop by occasionally for me. Because of the challenge with parking/finding enough seats for a larger group, I'd probably not default to coming here all that much. read more

Definitely a new go-to study spot for me! The coffee is very tasty and there are plenty of outlets and tables for long study sessions. Sometimes it's hard to get a spot, and the seats aren't the most comfortable, but the vibes and the coffee definitely make up for it. I didn't even plan on writing a review until after my experience! Running the register was Alex who was so welcoming, wholesome, and friendly! I felt guilty for ordering only a few minutes before close and wondered if it'd affect my coffee but it didn't it was amazing! I ordered a half-caff iced americano, an iced americano with an extra shot, and an iced vanilla latte with macadamia milk. My drinks were the best of their kind that I've had at every other coffee shop I usually go to. Nothing was too acidic nor was it too bitter. The shots were pulled to perfection. My latte wasn't too sweet nor was it lacking flavor in any way whatsoever. Other than the amazing coffee and the amazing Alex, the environment was beautiful. There were masks and hand sanitizer available to everyone and the customer doesn't have to touch any screens or card readers. So happy I decided to come here today! read more

We stumbled upon this gem of a coffee shop located in the Heights area. The industrial design combined with nature made it very inviting and relaxing. The barista (and owner I think) was friendly, talkative and informative. Food/Drinks: 4 stars We were offered the desserts- chocolate chip cookie. It was soft, thick, full of chunks of chocolate, and had a buttery taste. The coffee s delicious. It was not overbearing yet I could taste the flavor of the coffee. It wasn't bitter, rather had a pleasant taste. Customer Service: 4 stars Staff was friendly and inviting. Aesthetically speaking, it has an inviting and minimalist design. Plant lovers will enjoy the welcoming greenery. This coffee shop is for the purists. Only 3 flavors for iced lattes, I don't consider honey or stevia a flavor. For limited flavors I expected the coffee to be good but it was eh. They have limited pastries, I got a chocolate croissant and it wasn't heated up and tastes like nothing to be honest. There is back stock stuff sitting by the door and register. They do have plenty of seating and are dog friendly. And offer latte classes. read more

It's one of the most beautiful coffee places I have ever been to. I love their strong coffee and thick chocolate chip cookie. Great ambiance, lots of natural light coming in and a lot of beautiful plants. The only problem is finding seating. I have been here twice but I was never able to find any seating. Hands down the best cafe & roastery in town!!! They even have a separate lab area, where they offer free education on coffees around the world (every Saturday) and how to "cup" coffee. Although not a five star coffee shop but pretty close. Their coffee was great! We got a few drinks to try out. I know I'm reviewing based on the depth of the coffee flavor and since I didn't read if theyre a medium roast or dark roast kind of shop. Either way, they made it work and tasted great. I got a vanilla iced latte with oatmilk, same one with regular milk, and an americano. Even with the different milk, coffee was the main profile. I've tried a few coffee shops in houston and a lot of them are relying on their syrup flavor to carry the drink than the coffee. And, I definitely don't like milky coffee either-- meaning it shouldn't be coffee flavor milk. Pastries: got a croissant and a morning bun. The morning bun or cinnamon bun was great! The texture is more like brioche dough, not too sweet either! The croissant was a bit dry for my liking. It is huge though! read more

Maybe it was just the day I came, but atmospherically speaking it was difficult to focus with a small army of (maybe) 6year olds. It was loud. Tenfold Coffee is definitely my go to coffee shop these days. Their drip coffee is really good, and on a warm day I'll tend to gravitate towards the iced coffee (phenomenal).
