Wow! Delicious and flavorful chicken, so crispy and savory. What a treat! Our family finished a nice stroll around Tewinkle park and I placed an order online and it was ready when we drove up. The sukiyaki was so good, makes me never want yoshinoya again because Tenkatori's is way better! The bbq beef meat is great too. I loved that there is edamame and side salad to round out the meal. Bookmarked this restaurant for awhile and decided to try it. I called in to place an order. I ordered nankotsue, the staff asked how much I want and I said one order. He then said, I know one order but how much do you want in a rude tone. I asked what do you mean by how much and he hung up the phone. I later checked the online ordering and found they sell by oz. Wow...just wow. Small place...so groups larger than 3 are ass out. The selection was very broad for karaage and I was not disappointed. I got the sweet and spicy and it was definitely one of the better karaage I've had. A little saucy, but the flavor was great. The chicken was hot and juicy and the breading was thick. I've never had it before so I must thank Tenkatori Karaage for introducing me to these wonderfully breaded chicken grease balls! I order the Karaage box combo and it comes with california roll, green salad with tasty japanese citrus dressing, Karaage, tempura and rice. You can sub the tempura for other things like additional karaage if you like. Everything is pretty standard but the Karaage is my favorite part. It is like popcorn chicken on steroids. The breading is perfection. Its like and crispy. The chicken is delighfully juicy, it is chicken thigh after all. After two or three pieces I'm usually stuffed! The box makes for a nice meal for another day. It also comes with Miso soup on the side. I personally like to get the original although I've gotten the sweet and spicy and its also good. I just like my chicken crispy and the sauce gets the sweet and spicy kind of soggy and it gets colder faster. So I'll dip the original chicken in sriracha for an extra kick. The service is pretty good and you can phone in your order. It sometimes takes awhile and the restaurant is pretty small. It has space for maybe 5 2-person table. Been here a handful of times with my brother and SIL. The karaage is average, cheap, & will fill you up. It never really hit me until I took my SIL here last week. She said it was ok-not the best she's had mainly because the pieces of chicken were SO BIG! That's so true! Normally karaage is supposed to be bite size so it can somewhat retain its crispiness. It's better to serve many little pieces than a few chunky pieces where u have to use a knife to cut into smaller pieces. Hope that makes sense. Other than that, love their karaage rolls-it's simple and great to give to kids to eat. read more

Me and my friends go to spot for great, inexpensive chicken. It's really nice that the chicken is gluten free!

My intention was to write a five star review for the food and service , but I saw a malicious review and the funniest thing I was waiting for my food when this woman came inside of the restaurant and asked for someone else's food saying that she is the driver for Uber Eats. The cashier told her is gonna take a while till the order is ready because they were busy and if she wants she can cancel the order and let another driver to come later and pick the order. The woman got aggravated and started yelling and saying bad really bad stuff to the cashier and left. When my order was ready I tried to open the restaurant door and the woman was back saying horrible things to the cashier taking pictures is possible she took my picture too. I love the food and the service is great , pity there are people more and more these days trying to spill all their anger and frustration on others. read more

He answered all of our questions and even set the tables up for us to all eat together since most of the tables were only meant for 2 customers. He even gave us all to-go bags (and didn't give us dirty looks for each wanting our own bag). [PRODUCT: 4.5] I had the karaage bowl (~$8) and it was definitely worth it. I didn't even finish it and had to take the rest of it home - so the portions are pretty good. The combo meals are an even better deal though - for just a dollar or two more, you can get a salad and soup on the side with a little bit more chicken. The sauces are also self-serve. Only disappointing thing was that there was a lot of extra rice and there was literally only like 3 vegetables, but other than that, it was great! [ENVIRONMENT: 4.5] This place is very small and a lot of people tend to get to-go but the atmosphere was very friendly and it was also very clean. And surprisingly parking isn't too bad especially by being next to The Camp and The Lab Antimall. I got the sweet and spicy box and it's so good and such a great value! Five pieces of sweet and spicy chicken with two additional pieces of kaarage, a salad, miso soup, and four pieces of California roll for a little over $8. Wow! This place is super good! I've had their curry before and it was ok...I'd have it again maybe. Toshi is super nice and so are all the other people. Okay so my friends enjoyed this place because it's super worth it for them because with the combo they get a lot of food! If you're a meat eater then this place would be great for you! However, since I'm pescatarian I can't order anything in the combo menu without there being some sort of meat. I went for the shrimp and vegetable tempura a la carte. Since it was only like a dollar and some change less than the combos, I thought that I'd still get a decent amount of food but unfortunately I ended up with two pieces of shrimp tempura, a zucchini tempura, and an onion tempura with a small side of rice and salad LOL. I recommend that the restaurant acknowledge the difference in food given through the few dollar difference and give more substance to the a la carte dish. I was disappointed right when I opened the box lol.... But still giving 3 stars because the other combo boxes were good for my friends. read more

The service here at TK is friendly and helpful for first timers and their prices are just right. I've tried their original and sweet and sour karaage and they both were top tier delish! I've never had karaage before and didn't know what to expect and I have to say these are crispy, juicy and even though they're fried it's not greasy at all. You can easily down a bucket of these bad boys and it wouldn't feel as though you ate too much. They also serve beer here as well, beer and friend chicken are bffs in the food world. Located in a small strip plaza and competing with a subway lays this delicious Japanese fried chicken joint. Food: I typically order the box combo because I enjoy the variety. I typically choose the Karaage, with Tempura, California Rolls and the salad, all for about $8.50. The Karaage is some of the best chicken I've ever had. The box comes with 5 pieces and they're very large in size! Its breaded but still very light, deliciously crunchy and the chicken inside is just so juicy and flavorful (it is chicken thigh so yeah). It comes in original or sweet and spicy. I typically get it with no sauce because I like the chicken to stay crispy. The sweet and spicy chicken is still very good as well! The Tempura, California roll and salad aren't really anything special to write about but it doesn't suck. It comes with a very good portion of rice as well. I could probably make my box combo two meals but it's so good I have to finish it. They do offer Asahi beer on tap and have various specials posted on the walls. Service: I typically call ahead to order since it takes a bit to make and the place is small and can be busy. They don't typically make it until you order it. The cashier announces your order to the world in the microphone to the kitchen after you order. The box combo always comes in a to-go Styrofoam box. If you dine in, they cut off the top of the box. It's a large portion and if you typically have left overs, I'd recommend you ask them not to cut off the top of the box. Why? Because they'll charge you if you want a new box at the end of your meal...!!! Value: Delicious chicken at under $10 with leftovers! This place gives you an awesome bang for your buck. Chicken Karaage!!! I love this place so much. It's near my work the food is made fast and fresh. The Curry is they right type of Spicy. Also they have a bunch of different kinds of home-made sauce that are really good. I have not tried them all but the Sweet&Spicy is one of my favorites so far.
