Happy Mother's Day to ME! I got to spend my afternoon at a tasting at Tennessee Legend Distillery!! Cody was our spirit guide and he was amazing! We all shared life stories, liquor stories and food stories! We received a wonderful friendly welcome and a delicious tour through the whiskey, bourbon and moonshine the distillery offers. Add to that the well priced merchandise and clean bathrooms and you get the perfect visit! Our favorites were the Kingsnake and the Agavesaurus Rex, both just as smooth as ever and so easy to drink! Hubby had a delicious old fashioned and I had a special request Mexican Martini, nicknamed Custody Battle, that was perfection in a glass! Loved the jalapeno garlic olives! Cody is the man! The Dutch Bros and I came in on a Thursday afternoon, and we had he and the place to ourselves. I wasn't expecting too much from the whiskey because I don't do flavored drinks. Surprisingly, they made a believer out of me! All the flavored ones have actual flavors, which aren't weak or overpowering. Had to buy a bottle to take back to Texas. This was a nice recommendation from a friend as I partake in whiskey quite often. The distillery was small but comfy, very clean, and the sommelier was very nice and knowledgeable. I tried samples of the creams and whiskies and fell in love with the smoked apple whiskey and wedding bells cream liqueur. So smooth, I can drink both neat or on the rocks! The smoked apple is sweet but nothing like Jim Bean apple or Jack Daniels apple; just the right amount of twang and candied glacé. The finish was smokey, mellow, and smooth! No burn! The wedding bells cream liqueur was a french vanilla wedding cake cream based whiskey. So delectable, so magnificent, so delicate... I'd drink it straight on ice like a refined cake liquidfied. The French vanilla bean coats your tastebuds like a silk robe on warm Summer's night. It's so heavenly! The server gave me a discount because I was wearing a mask so kudos to this place for thinking about it's customers... If I ever visit Cookeville, TN again, I'll definitely stop by here again! read more

I've walked in and looked around Tennessee Legend Distillery quite a few times and really liked the atmosphere. I brought my friends in to do some tasting and we really enjoyed it! Patrick was our spirit guide and he showed us some amazing combinations and he is very knowledgeable about all of the products! My personal favorite was the coffee whiskey with salted caramel whiskey and crème brûlée liqueur. Aside from the amazing service and tasting, it's a nice little hangout spot with board games and lounging areas. There's cocktails and mock tails and various other options in the selection. The shop is full of awesome items, liquor, trinkets, and games! All around great experience and I will certainly be back! read more

Choices galore! We stopped in early on a Tuesday evening. No one else there and server was super attentive. Wish I could remember her name. We each did a partial sampling and chose a drink each. Another four people came in and did a sampling which spurred my intrigue when they were having ones we hadn't tried. So I asked to sample a couple more. Ended up walking out with three bottles! Decided to take a day off yesterday. It was my birthday on Sunday and didn't get to do much, so I figured I deserved a Monday off! The hubby, dog, and I wound up taking a drive out to Cookeville for fun. We stopped by TN Legend Distillery because he loves to do taste testing of new kinds of whiskey and so forth. As it turns out, it is a pet-friendly place!! So we all went in! We tried a nice variety of bourbon, whiskey, rum, and tequila! I loved the coffee whisky and cinnamon whisky the most! Big ups to the coconut rum, too! Daniel, the manager and spirits pourer, was super cool and gave us the lowdown on every product they had! So, needless to say, we didn't make it out of there til we got about $150 of product (well discounted because we were wearing our masks!). I got my collectible shot glass, too. Oh yea baby, what's a trip to Tennessee without a trip to the distillery. Am I right? We had a wonderful time at Tennessee Legend Distillery. We sampled the drinks, bought some moonshine for the family back home (they better share) and bought gifts for the non drinkers. We then stopped in for some craft beer and picture taking. It's in a really neat location and you can walk in and out of the many shops. It may be a tourist trip but this is one tourist trap that I will be visiting again. read more

Great place. Ling was exceptionally helpful with our tasting as well as recommending places to eat and drink nearby to keep our fun rolling. We really appreciated her attentiveness and knowledge of the spirits we were trying and we thoroughly enjoyed our purchases. Also I can say their snifter glasses are well worth the price! Hubby packed them in with his clothes for safe travel and ended up dumping his whole bag straight into the washing machine. THEY SURVIVED THE CYCLE! Not even a scratch on them. I was amazed. My only tidbit of advice would be to better label the pricing of the bottles, we had no idea how much they were until they were rung up. Also the POS should be updated to allow tipping during purchase, we never carry cash and we felt terrible we couldn't show Ling our appreciation for the time she spent with us. read more

Tennessee Legend Distillery is a bit of stretch to call legend. I mean, yeah, it is good, but it is not amazing. I do have some of their product in my cabinet for mixing and I can appreciate the operation they have going. The tasting room is super cute and very patriotic. It is pretty necessary considering the Fort Campbell base isn't far from the distillery. If in Clarksville, stop by. You get a discount for the neighboring vineyard with your tasting purchase. read more

My partner and I had a few hours to kill in Cookeville early Saturday afternoon, and we decided to check out Tennessee Legend Distillery. Cody was our tasting/tour guide, and he was marvelous! He made us feel right at home, was so knowledgeable about all the products, and even gave us a small demo/tasting of an easy mixed cocktail we could make with the products (Blueberries & Cream liqueur + Coffee Whiskey for a "blueberry latte" drink). He also told us about the fun community events happening at the distillery (like game and movie nights), which we would love to attend if we lived closer, and he was even able to give us some recommendations for cool restaurants in Nashville, which we're definitely going to follow his advice about! We had such a fantastic experience that we're also going to check out the Tennessee Legend Distillery here in Nashville.
