Back in January I went to WDW with close friends and her parents. The day after the marathon, my friend had reservations for this location. We showed up and they walked us over to our table. The service was amazing and the quality of food was delicious! I would absolutely eat here again!

Teppan Edo at Epcot was an absolute highlight of our trip. The food tasted amazing and the service was truly outstanding. What really made this feel special was how authentic the experience was. All of the staff, including the chefs, are Japanese, and it genuinely felt like we were transported to Japan. It had a completely different and more authentic vibe compared to places like Benihana. They do not serve fried rice, but honestly, we did not miss it at all. The stir fried udon was delicious, and they still serve rice with the meal, which was perfect. Everything we had was flavorful and cooked beautifully right in front of us. The interior is great, the atmosphere is fun and immersive, and the pricing was better than I expected for a restaurant inside Disney World. Overall, I really could not complain about anything. Great service, great setting, and wonderful food. We would absolutely come back again.

Looking through the Disney World mobile application, I was looking at restaurant availability on a Tuesday evening for a reservation for 1. There wasn't many options available, but Teppan Edo was one restaurant that had availability. My reservation was for 6:30, but I arrived at 6:10 for check in. The team member had informed me that once the table was ready, I would receive a text message to go into the restaurant. When I received the text message, I went to the left entrance of the building for Teppan Edo. Teppan Edo is a teppanyaki style restaurant located in the Japan Pavilion at Epcot in Walt Disney World. The inside of the restaurant was modern and spacious. The team member whom brought us to the table provided us with menu options. I ended up getting a combo - chicken and steak (Filet Mignon) for my meal. You could choose other options like shrimp. The orders were also provided with vegetables and serviced with rice and dipping sauces. Chefs prepare meals right at the table on large, sizzling iron griddles. I was with two other families for the experience. The chef at my table had performed tricks like flipping utensils, creating steaming onion volcanoes, and performing knife skills. Unfortunately, when the chicken was done, I saw that there was a shrimp tail in my food. I couldn't eat the chicken or steak. The rice and side salad that was provided earlier was good though. The restaurant experience was fantastic. It was a welcoming atmosphere and it was immersive! I just couldn't eat the food after the shrimp tail was mixed in with the chicken. It was worth experiencing once, but I'm not sure if I'd revisit the restaurant.

Teppan Edo is in Epcot's Japan Pavilion. Easily one of the top entertaining and delicious dining experiences in the park! The teppanyaki-style dining is both a show and a meal. Every chef we have had here has been amazing -- funny, skilled, and made the whole table laugh while cooking everything to perfection. Be prepared to sit with other groups if you don't fill the table! With your meal, you get a small salad to start, and then the noodles and white rice with your meal. Both delicious. For the main, my go-to is the steak and shrimp. A few sauce options to choose from too. For a while, I would stick to just the core options, as it is very filling, but once I tried the volcano roll, there is no going back. I crave it all the time!! The staff is attentive, kind, and incredibly efficient. It's a great break from the busy park, and you leave feeling like you had both a meal and an experience. If you're looking for a dining option that combines amazing food, great service, and a touch of showmanship, Teppan Edo is an excellent option.

This was my first hibachi experience, and it did not disappoint! It definitely lived up to all the hype. It was so fun to watch all the food preparation. I got the grilled shrimp option, and it was by far the best shrimp I've ever had. Also the miso soup healed my soul after a long day walking around Epcot.

We went here on Christmas thinking it would be a nightmare, and even though it was so busy, it was perfect! We had a fantastic female hibachi chef from Japan who was seriously talented, and really funny! She made us great food and made the experience so interactive and fun! Eating in Disney Japan is seriously a blast as long as you have the patience to wait and book months ahead of time, make sure your entire party is with you or you won't be seated!! The ambiance, decor and service was superb

Fun dinner spot at Epcot and one of the best restaurants in Disney world. The chefs are always so good, friendly, and a blast to watch. I tried the shrimp. My toddler also loved it and ate the shrimp, steak, Vegetables and noodles. Also had lava cake dessert which was decent

We had dinner reservations at Teppan Edo in EPCOT at Walt Disney World, which we made the day before. Reservations require prepayment, and for four of us (two adults and two kids) the total came out to around $170. The food, unfortunately, was very bland. There was an overwhelming amount of tapioca in the dishes, and the sauces were disappointing. As someone who loves bold flavor, I was really hoping for a good garlic sauce or a hot and spicy option, but none of them really stood out. You're served white rice instead of fried rice, and while you do get noodles, the vegetables were cut extremely small, which felt very different from the traditional teppanyaki style I'm used to with larger, fresher cuts. Our server, Lina, was pleasant and attentive, checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The chef, Taka (T-A-K-A) did a nice job entertaining the kids, which I appreciated. He did a few tricks when serving the noodles, but nothing too elaborate compared to other teppanyaki experiences I've had with more interaction and showmanship. The ambiance is exactly what you'd expect for teppanyaki-style dining: you're seated at a shared table with guests who are not part of your group, which is totally fine. However, the noise level was extremely loud. It was difficult to have a normal conversation, and even while ordering, we found ourselves having to practically yell across the table. Between the surrounding tables, the cooking sounds, and the general crowd noise, it was hard to hear much -- even while the chef was preparing the food. Visually, the atmosphere is still a highlight. Being in the Japan Pavilion is really cool, and walking up to the building truly makes you feel like you've stepped into Japan. From the outside, it looks like you might get a great view of the park, but unfortunately, we were seated in the back with no view, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't memorable. Between the price point, the bland flavors, the noise level, and the limited teppanyaki experience, I'd give Teppan Edo a solid 3 out of 5 stars.

Every seat has an excellent view when Teppan chefs cook traditional Japanese dishes right at your table. Select from steak, chicken, seafood and vegetable entrées, which are served with Udon noodles and steamed rice. You can also enjoy such favorites as edamame and assorted sushi rolls. They have a full Japanese bar so can pair your meal with Japanese beer, wine, hot or cold sake and even a sake cocktail. Skilled chefs and excellent sweet service. Cheers

Located inside Epcot, unfortunately, you have to buy a ticket to get into the park in order to enjoy this wonderful restaurant. We were a party of three so we did share the table with another family. The food was amazing. The chef was awesome! We had a wonderful time and I would highly recommend coming here if you get the chance.

Dining at Hibachi is always a delightful experience, especially for families. Watching the chefs prepare the food right before your eyes is incredibly entertaining. Because the restaurant is often busy, we recommend arriving early or making a reservation through your Disney app. The steak and shrimp are consistently cooked perfectly. The sushi, however, is exceptionally refreshing, incredibly fresh, and melts in your mouth. Please come with an appetite! It's certainly our preferred choice for an enjoyable dinner. It can be a bit crowded, so you may need to leave your stroller outside. The tables are close together. There isn't a lot of natural light, so it may not be suitable for those who prefer brighter settings.

This was my favorite meal of our Disney trip! 4 things that were a hit: 1) our chef Tomo from Jacksonville! He expertly prepared our meals and had many funny jokes. Maybe one of our favorite moments was when he tapped his tongs on the grill "tap-tap-tap-tap-tap", and another chef in an adjacent room responded with the tail end to the beat "tap-tap!", you know, like one of those Bugs Bunny tunes at the end of a joke. 2) plentiful array of food that you get with each entree. I enjoyed the salmon, and it comes with stir fry udon, white rice, salad or soup, and sauces. I'm used to getting only noodles or rice. 3) extensive drink list. My Paris Breeze cocktail was fruity, strong, and hit the spot! 4) the "show" during the cook prep, where the chef does tricks like flip veggies into their hats and draw Mickey Mouse characters in oil on the grill (part of their contract, LOL). The bill added up fast; after all was said and done, we were $250 lighter, but it was worth the vacation splurge! Last note is that though we had a reservation, we still had to wait about 20 minutes for our seats to be ready, so that was a bit unexpected.

They said that because it is Epcot, they want to be culturally accurate as possible. Since fried rice is a Chinese dish, the China pavilion has it on their menu and Japan specializes in sushi

I was very disappointed with our experience at Takumi-Tei. For a dinner costing over $650, I expected a true sushi omakase experience focused on raw fish. Instead, nearly every course was cooked, with only one piece of raw fish served. I consider myself to be an adventurous eater; however, had it been made clear beforehand, I would not have even considered booking this experience. The service also did not match the quality advertised. Our server disappeared for about 45 minutes, and despite asking multiple times, we could not get assistance. There were additional long delays before the final courses and before receiving the check. When the bill arrived, we were charged for something we had been told was included, and the interaction made us feel uncomfortable rather than accommodated. At the end of the evening, we were also stopped from leaving because an introduction was taking place. After spending over three hours there, we simply wanted to leave, especially after such a disappointing experience overall. Overall, the evening felt poorly managed and did not reflect the level of quality or hospitality expected at this price point. After the extended delays throughout the night, being prevented from leaving created an unnecessarily frustrating end to the experience and left us feeling agitated for hours afterward, which should not happen at this level of dining. I would have preferred the fantastic fish and chips in England for under $40 for two people. :)

My friend went with the monthly special dish and cocktail. I chose the tonkotsu ramen and we shared the ribs for the appetizer. Food came out quickly and it was all fresh and delicious. I did a quick Google search as well as a Yelp search and this place came up and the reviews were fairly well first of all I love Hibachi so I'm gamed to try every Hibachi place in the world nevertheless I did call to make reservations but I believe during this certain time of the year which was I think it was a Labor Day weekend or the weekend before Labor Day... Nevertheless reservations weren't needed but I did make them just in case. We arrived via Uber which was a quick 10 minute ride from our stay from the Sheraton Vistana. We walked in was greeted immediately and overall everything was a 10 out of 10. I don't think I have any complaints if you love Hibachi and love the family style sit around type thing around the Hibachi Grill definitely check this place out very chic very picturesque. Seems like it's very clean as wel! I highly recommend this spot. If we're ever back in town I think we're going to definitely stop by here again and dine. I almost forgot I told them that we were celebrating my husband's birthday and the chef from our experience ended our night with a fluffy cupcake a one candle lit... First off I must address the elephant in the room their manager Tony who likes to stand in the archway between the dinning rooms and send text messages like it's going out of style, then after he was done with one of his texting sessions I watched him use not a very nice and kinda demeaning tone to one of the employees to go tell them to do something and let me say I noticed this across the table through a cooking chef so it would seem that he isn't very nice and if that weren't enough at the end of our meal our wonderful server Sammie was talking to us and she totally made our visit and was very friendly mid conversation with her Tony comes up and then she stopped in sentence and like walked away as Tony came up I said that she made our visit and he could clearly careless as he then put this QR code in front of me and told me to do a google review I replied I don't do that I use Yelp and that instantly made him get real short with me and walk away, so needless to say that guy has some serious issues as a manager and I feel bad for his staff because it definitely seems like he's one of those managers you don't wanna have. While I might be totally wrong about this as I don't work here and I've only been here once that's just what I noticed what I saw and the energy that I felt. So our food was good but I must say it was just typical hibachi and let's start with the onion soup it was ok kinda bland and needed more mushroom, the salad was good but they didn't give us very much as the server walked away with a very full bowl from a large table, my fried rice and veggies were good but mostly tasted like garlic butter, my steak and shrimp were cooked perfectly and flavorful definitely the better part of the mean but I found it strange that my steak came with a few pieces of potato's I've never seen this before at hibachi and they I had to ask them for ginger sauce for my shrimp as I guess they don't give it out. My hot sake and Kirin were both yummy and I just say the hot sake bottle was on the smaller side but it wasn't over priced so that part definitely added to the night! Our chef was good he didn't do anything out of the normal stuff just the regular the heart beat the egg trick and the volcano but it's all good a basic ambiance is fun sometimes too! Overall food was decent but definitely something that didn't leave an impression on me as other hibachi restaurants have, that mixed with what we noticed go on I wouldn't come back especially with soo much competition in the area I'd rather go there!

Our server commented that this was a consistent observation with guests who dine there. I went with my family and as a large group we were able to try multiple menu items, all of which were outstandingly delicious. Try the chicken nanban and the violet sake! The kids meals are very picky eater friendly - the cute bento boxes had an assortment of chicken and fruit that the kids loved. You'll enjoy everything here. From the soft buttery sushi to the Japanese pancake (often referred to as Japanese pizza). The environment is collected, calm, and relaxing. The service was genuine and welcoming, and they stay very on top of refilling drinks and clearing used plates. They also have great recommendations if you have a difficult time deciding your meal choices. The environment in Shiki-Sai is a noticeable contrast to the sister restaurant Teppan Edo (which offers hibachi) across the hall. While Shiki-Sai was open, peaceful, and inviting, Teppan Edo was quite noisy, cramped, and the air felt warm. You can notice these differences walking past the restaurant to the shared bathrooms at the end of the building. As the occasion was to celebrate a birthday, we felt we had made the right choice.
