Bay lake - Disney springs BENIHANA

Food wasn't cooked throughly and they put way too much butter - for a chain restaurant they should all have the same standards and items. I know not many locations have yum yum sauce but this locations yum yum sauce must be location specific because it didn't taste like all the other Benihana locations. Plus had to wait forever for our white rice and had to ask three times. By the time it came the rest of the meal was cold. We didn't eat our meals as we nibbled - the shrimp wasn't cooked and the steak was all fat. Won't be back and I do not recommend this location. For the price go accross the street to Disney Springs and enjoy all their offerings

Come ready to eat! This Benihana is located inside the Hilton Lake Buena Vista, and provides complementary parking validation at the hotel after dining. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Stepping inside, the team was friendly and welcoming, and I enjoyed visiting the bar as well as a great availability of tables in the dining room.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] At a Benihana, you know that you were getting tons of food and that it will all be freshly prepared in front of you with entertaining chefs, joking, and doing tricks along the way. This was my first time trying the filet mignon, which I greatly enjoyed and of course, an excellent array of vegetables, fried rice and soup and salad. My only challenge with this location was a bit of a wait between courses - the restaurant was slightly understaffed at the time I went. But overall a pleasant experience!

We have been to multiple Benihana's and by far this had been the absolute worst. We got $39 hibachi dinner and the rice was dried and chicken was so burnt it was crunchy. We had to have it remade. The vegetables were charred and soggy. My husband ordered Sashimi and 6 pieces were completely frozen. The pork dumpling tasted rancid, sour. The white noodles were sautéed in burnt pieces and had no seasoning that our children spit out. Do yourself a favor and don't spend your money or time here.

    Had to seat in bar.

We made a reservation six weeks in advance for a party of 12 at the Hilton Benihana. We live in St. Petersburg and stay at this Hilton 12-14 times a year, so this is not a one-off visit for us. Unfortunately, this has become a pattern. The last half dozen times we've dined here with a reservation, we've ended up eating at the bar instead of being seated. This time was far worse. Despite the six-week notice and a large party reservation, we were told upon arrival that the wait would be 1.5 to 2 hours, reservation or not. The hostess was openly snarky and stated they were behind due to "all the walk-ins," which begs the question: what is the point of a reservation if walk-ins are prioritized? We had a 6-year-old with us and several people with early morning flights, so waiting hours was not realistic. Thankfully, the bartender Jonathan actually listened and showed genuine concern. He said he would get the manager. The manager (wearing an orange tie) told us the issue was "corporate," claiming they have no control over bookings or reservations. That explanation is unacceptable to hear as a customer who planned far in advance and stays at this property regularly. After pushing for a solution, Jonathan stepped up and got our entire party seated, and we finally placed our order at 9:29 PM--long after we should have been eating. After reading Yelp reviews while sitting there, it's clear this is a known and ongoing issue, not an isolated incident. Anyone considering dining here--especially for a group or special occasion--should be aware: a reservation means very little at this location, and you may still be left waiting while walk-ins are seated. The only bright spot was Jonathan at the bar, who showed professionalism and customer care that management clearly lacks.

Fantastic dinner! We stopped by Benihana inside the Hilton at Disney Springs and had such a memorable time. Our hibachi chef was entertaining and cooked everything perfectly. The Hibachi Shrimp and Chicken combo was flavorful, juicy, and delicious, and our double salads were crisp and refreshing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere felt both upscale and family-friendly[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] -- definitely a must-try in Orlando!

Take out review! When it comes to the food I love it. The shows are great. We do get some to go often we usually get the family pack. It comes with plenty of food. The sushi is also good some Tempura is our go to. After this maybe try eating in. I usually don't do reviews on take out but this place was the worst place I have ever got take out from. Starting from how rude they are. I place an order at exactly 9:10 the order said it would ready by 10 pm I didn't get my food till 10:40. Managers excuse is that they are full and that they had a lot of orders. I was there the 40 minutes and no one was coming in or out from dine in nor for take out. The take out area was empty. Once I finally got my food the girl Natalia that brought it out was extremely rude. She just put it down in front of me I acabes if this was mine and if it was everything she just turned looks at me and walked away. She was mad that I had to wait 40 minutes I guess. Don't let places like this discourage you from coming to orlando. This place being in Hilton by Disney should honestly think about things like this. Food 5 star service -5star.

On one of Orlando's hottest days this year, we chose EPCOT. As the heat began to break down our party's will to live, we began to think of lunch. But what to have in this theme park filled with culinary delights? The British Pub was booked out. German sausages and American barbeque were too heavy for the weather. As the heat began to turn tired and hungry into exhausted and hangry, we took the next opportunity we happened upon and inquired at the check-in desk in Japan. Moments later, we were whisked down a long hallway of sub-divided Japanese shoji-clad (but probably not really) rooms and seated for our lunch. The polite and attentive staff took drink and appetizer orders. After quickly consuming ice-cold water and a few sips of the always-delightful Sapporo, we were presented with ginger-dressed salads and my takoyaki appetizer. Now just let me take a moment. Takoyaki is octopus dumpling. I first came upon this amazing food while living in Hawaii and I was so excited to see it on this menu. And it totally holds up! Don't recoil at the idea of eating octopus. I've had straight-up grilled octopus before, and it's quite delicious, but in dumpling form with its crispy outer bread crust and creamy filling, it is MAGICAL. If I had one criticism, it's that there's not a lot of octopus in each dumpling, maybe a small piece or two. What I do wonder is whether that's a cost-savings approach, or if it's meant to broaden the appeal for the adventurous eater to proudly proclaim their brave love of octopus. Either way, a bit more octopus would be welcome! Around this same time our chef entered and began to prepare the main meal, starting with delicious grilled vegetables and udon noodles. After a hot day in the park, the freshly-cooked veg was hugely restorative (as was the aforementioned salad). Most of our party ordered the steak and chicken combo, which was an enormous amount of food, with probably 3/4 of a pound of meat. It's a lot of food. And, of course, super delicious. Our chef was fun and lively, though I don't really care much for the showy aspect of American teppanyaki (I researched this once and learned that teppan in Japan is a very serious, formal meal. I'm not surprised to learn the American interpretation is nowhere near authentic). Desserts are offered, comprising multiple matcha choices which we didn't indulge, due to the volume of food in the preceding courses. This is not an inexpensive experience. But fresh-cooked real food in a theme park is hard to come by, and taking the time to experience an actual meal over the course of an hour or two was a much-needed break. I would also suggest that, taking my logic one step further, investing in a restful meal may actually encourage you to spend more time in the park than you might otherwise, perhaps improving its overall value.

Everything we ordered was really flavorful and well prepared, and the portions were generous. The hibachi-style dining where the chef cooks the meal right in front of you adds a fun "dinner and a show" element, which made it a great choice for celebrating. Even though we were mostly focused on the birthday festivities, the food itself really stood out, everyone at the table seemed happy with their meals. The only downside was the service. It felt a bit slow throughout the night, especially when it came to getting drinks and checking in with the table. Our waitress also came across a little aloof, which made things feel slightly less welcoming than expected for a birthday dinner. That said, the atmosphere was lively and it's definitely a fun spot for groups or celebrations. With a little more attentive service, this could easily be a go-to place for birthday dinners or nights out with friends. The food alone makes it worth a visit.

I was very disappointed with our experience at Takumi-Tei. For a dinner costing over $650, I expected a true sushi omakase experience focused on raw fish. I consider myself to be an adventurous eater; however, had it been made clear beforehand, I would not have even considered booking this experience. The service also did not match the quality advertised. Our server disappeared for about 45 minutes, and despite asking multiple times, we could not get assistance. There were additional long delays before the final courses and before receiving the check. When the bill arrived, we were charged for something we had been told was included, and the interaction made us feel uncomfortable rather than accommodated. At the end of the evening, we were also stopped from leaving because an introduction was taking place. After spending over three hours there, we simply wanted to leave, especially after such a disappointing experience overall. Overall, the evening felt poorly managed and did not reflect the level of quality or hospitality expected at this price point. After the extended delays throughout the night, being prevented from leaving created an unnecessarily frustrating end to the experience and left us feeling agitated for hours afterward, which should not happen at this level of dining. I would have preferred the fantastic fish and chips in England for under $40 for two people. :)

They were very very specific who got white and who could eat what when they came to the table to serve serve. It's not some big fancy theme park type restaurant inside but it's nice and clean. I'm still laughing my friends had no idea I had been here and had even told them about it. Oh well, they bought me dinner so I shouldn't complain. The service is excellent, of course they listen to you when you order which is important, the food was hot, fresh, visually appealing as well as smelled incredible. When we were done they were quick to clear away and box up anything that we asked. I don't like too much hovering over a table but I also don't like to have to go hunt down my weight staff. Just the right amount without being annoying or unresponsive. I will definitely come back here again and remind my friends I have been here. Lol

The service did not hesitate and welcomed our large party with a smile and eagerness to assist. The food was prepared fresh and to order. The flavors were delicious and the portions were plentiful. Parking was easily accessible within their own lot. Overall a great experience. Enjoy!
