Hi guys, I am completly in with you guys now. So Stoked! I picked up the two Kukamans today and it was a seamless painless transaction. I just looked at the Kukenam XL Ruggedized in Orange and I want one of those as well. Their shop is functional and their tents are freaking gorgeous. Rooftop tents are the way to go. We had a hardtop tent however we switched to the clamshell type because they are bigger in size. We use them on our budget campervans based on the Dodge Grand Caravan, Thank you for being very fast and easy to deal with. Again so stoked! Cheers Nick www.lostcampersusa.com Lost Campers

We have gone on 9 camping trips in less than half a year which is a lot compared to our previous years. We are having so much fun & it's all because we LOVE our Tepui Tent!!

I recently purchased my tepui tent. I purchased a kukenam ruggedized model and I am extremely happy with the information I received from Parker and also the help I got from the shop guys when I arrived to pick the tent up. THANK YOU TEPUI! you guys rock.

    Water gets in.

This thing is falling apart at the seams, literally. Quite disappointed with my Tepui tent. Quality not worth the ticket price.

After emailing back and forth with Griffin, I was able to set up a time to come up and pick up a Autana model tent.

I wandered around for a bit and appreciated being able to browse on my own before heading back to the register to ask for help. I wanted to try on the Osprey Fairview and Sojourn packs with weight added so I could get a realistic feel for how they'd carry. I was directed to the fitting counter and met Kira -- and she is amazing. To give you an idea of how much she was juggling: she was already helping another customer with a backpack fitting, assisting me, and keeping an eye on two additional customers on the floor. Despite being clearly busy, she was calm, attentive, and intentional with each of us. She truly took the time to understand our individual needs and concerns. When I explained that I wanted to try the packs with added weight, she suggested going through a proper fitting to ensure the best ergonomic setup. While the Osprey fitting didn't go as planned Kira immediately shifted gears and offered an alternative option without hesitation. She was incredibly supportive, validating, and encouraging throughout the entire process. What could have been a disappointing experience turned into a positive one because of her empathy and professionalism. I cannot recommend her enough for anyone needing backpack fitting support or guidance. She went above and beyond -- truly exceptional customer service. Please give her a raise. She absolutely deserves it.

I went in by myself with just a couple questions on how best to get her started. The gentleman behind the counter immediately seemed defensive and automatically assumed I wanted to sign up for lessons, and said,"This is a pro shop, we don't do anything like lessons here". I explained to him that I was not after lessons, just some tips for a beginner to the sport. The entire time I was in the shop, I had to probe extremely hard to get any kind of answers out of him, who was very short and crass with me the entire time. Apparently, this pro shop is not the place for people with questions even regarding the sport. Just go in, buy your gear and leave is what they want. 1star for good selection, but I would give zero to how rude he was, even to a local.

Solid selection of everything from jigs to poles, the one issue was the prices were a bit high, by about 50 cents per bag of hooks and sinks. Doesn't sound like much unless you're buying 5 bags of 4 different sizes after a big trip of losing gear to the trees at Lake Del Valle. Still, a great local shop with some great advice from the salesmen.

I texted him I needed a repair, sent photos, and we worked through the next steps. He provided a quote on costs. I could only drop it off on Saturday that week, so he had me take it to Ripcurl on 41st. Drop off was easy, the guys at Ripcurl will give you a repair slip to fill out. After the repair was done Brian texted me and I went back to Ripcurl to pick up the board. The repair looked great and professional. I'd definitely come back for future repairs. 5/5 I'd recommend Brian for ding repairs. Easy drop off/pick up and reasonable prices.
