Come for the views!! I would not make a special trip to this bar, but if I was down by the pier and felt like a fun drink, I would stop in. Getting a table or getting service in general is always chaotic. The drinks are pretty good but expensive, and the food is just ok too (we had wings and flatbreads). Like I said, come for the views and the photo ops because the St Pete skyline is lovely at sunset!

Pier Teaki is a phenomenal rooftop bar with amazing panoramic views of the water. If you're looking for a nice place to have a drink at St Pete Pier, then Pier Teaki is definitely a must try.

I love the view and vibes but the food is just okay. I don't love the idea that they automatically add gratuity to your bill no matter the size of the party.

A really cool bar/restaurant at the end of the pier. It's super modern and cool looking. You can get there by a ferry taxi, pier shuttle or walk. It was a beautiful evening so we chose to walk. It was a Saturday night and the bar was packed. There was a DJ giving it a club vibe. We got cocktails that came in fun tiki cups. They have a menu of bites. The only part that I did not love-- it wasn't a windy night, but it was super windy there. I felt like I was getting wind blasted which was a bit unplesant, lol. Next time I'm in the area I'll be visiting during the day, I imagine it has more of a relaxing chill vibe.

Stopped by here after lunch at Teak for a drink. It was buzzing with a really cool vibe. It was day time and I know it must be supper cool at night especially with the view. Didn't have food just drinks.

Ambiance: If you're visiting downtown St. Pete, this is an absolute must-stop. You come here for the vibes. The views of the water and downtown St. Pete are stunning, especially at sunset. There are tons of seating options, including couches, high- and low-top tables, bar-style seating around the perimeter, and even tiki huts that I believe can be reserved for groups (I'm not entirely sure how reservations or pricing work). This would be a great spot for friend groups or for pre-dinner drinks on a date. Instagram-worthy: 100%. This is a fantastic spot for photos. Drinks: We ordered a piña colada and a spicy margarita. Both drinks were very cute and very strong. My margarita was a bit cucumber-forward, which wasn't my personal favorite... but to be fair, it was listed on the menu. Food: We didn't order any food, so I can't personally comment, but the menu looked like typical bar food. Getting there: The bar is located at the very end of the pier, above a small gift shop. You can get there via stairs or elevator, and you can either walk to the end of the pier or take the free trolley that runs along it.

The views here top floor of the pier is peak level awesome! Very classy place. But what comes with class and views is pricing. They are a bit up there on that level as well. Overall good place. Been about 8 times and will be back again in a week or two

A truly magical location, at the end of the pier, three stories up, over looking downtown. The best spot for a drink and the sunset. I have to come here every time I am downtown to soak up the views and a great drink. I ordered a dirty gin martini and it was excellent, the olives were great too. I haven't tried any of their lite bites, but maybe next time! It's a must stop spot for a drink.

Come see Venessa at the Bayside bar @ Pier Tiki! Great personality, friendly and knows her mixology! She recommended the Mahi tacos and they were delicious! Going back to try the Cuban next time!

This has to be the best place for a waterfront view in Tampa!! Stumbled onto this place while walking the in the pier area and so happy I did. This place has like five levels and the top level is truly the best because there is not a bad seat.I didn't get a chance to order food but everything on the menu sounded really good. The drinks were good, the live music was a really nice touch also.

Took a bit to get the cuban flatbread. It is good and the view is amazing, but they were out of wings and the flatbread was cold....so yeah. They are busy so idk.

I finally made it to Pier Teaki after missing it on my last trip and it lived up to the hype. The views are incredible and the whole space has a chill, spacious vibe that's perfect for relaxing. The staff was great too. My server Ashley was polite, funny and super laid back. I didn't eat this time, just grabbed drinks. My old fashioned was $17.98, small but very strong and really good. Just a heads up, there's a 20 percent service fee added to purchases, which seems common around St. Pete at this point. I'd absolutely come back. If you're in the area, it's worth the visit. You typically pay to park then walk about ten minutes to Pier Teaki, but the views alone make it worth the trip.

Pier Teaki is a rooftop bar with amazing views of St. Pete! While I didn't care for my drink that much, I really enjoyed spending an evening here watching the sunset. We even saw a manatee swimming in the water, which was a nice surprise. Around 7:30 they had a DJ come out, which definitely made our experience here. We went on a Friday night, and as the evening went on it got busier, but never felt overly crowded. I appreciated that different staff members checked on us throughout the evening. I would recommend this spot if you are looking for a fun place to enjoy rooftop views of the city and grab a drink.

    Is pier teaki dog friendly?

Orders were taken promptly and delivered in reasonable times. We all ordered from their specialty cocktail list, and we all agreed they were very good. My Miami Mule was one of the best I have had in a while. Fruit flavor was forward, you could actually taste the bite of the ginger beer, and they didn't skimp on the alcohol. While I didn't order food, the rest of my family did and they all enjoyed their meals. The only downside was the bugs! BRING BUG SPRAY! The Getaway is all outdoor, located on the bay in the Mangroves, and it's home to biting insects. We were almost eaten alive by the tiny biting flies (noseeums, flying teeth). They were annoying as hell. While bugs come with the territory, a can of bug spray or a few citronella candles on the tables would be nice.

On a recent visit, we started with the clam chowder because we have been telling our friends how good it was. Unfortunately, this time it was nothing like we had before. It arrived lukewarm, was extremely thick-almost like wallpaper paste- and had an odd taste. We mentioned it to the manager and he was very apologetic and removed it from our bill. He surprised even surprised us at the end of the meal with a complimentary dessert. He explained that they tried a different recipe that day. We told him they should go back to the original one because it is much better. For my meal, I ordered the Teak house salad with blackened chicken. It's one of my favorite salads and I could eat it every day! It comes with mandarin oranges, strawberries, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, croutons and a delicious sesame pineapple dressing. I thought I had ordered the full-sized salad, but when it arrived it was smaller than I expected. It was perfect for lunch, but I probably wouldn't order for dinner unless I had an appetizer. I've had several of their seafood dishes as well, and they're always fresh and delicious. The service is consistently friendly and attentive. My husband usually orders the short ribs and says they are some of the best he's ever had. He orders them whenever he sees them on the menu so that's saying something. Overall, Teak is still one of my favorite restaurants to bring out of town visitors. The beautiful views, great service and good food keep us coming back. One thing to be aware of is the bill. A 20% service charge is automaticly added, and not all of the servers mention it. Just be sure to check your bill before adding an additional tip,

It's good but not as awesome as the scenery. We enjoyed our main courses, but the dessert was pretty ordinary. It didn't even seem to resemble the menu description, so we asked the waiter if he had brought us what we ordered. He insisted it was what we ordered, so .... okay. At these prices we had hoped to be wowed by everything. But the service - uggh. The hostess seemed bored. The waiter seemed sluggish and indifferent. Sure, the waiter tried a few upsells, but his heart just wasn't in it. He came across as inexperienced, not particularly happy to be working, and it took a few tries to flag him down when we needed him. Here's the thing - Teak has gone to an automatic 20% gratuity on every check. That means that no matter how mediocre the service, we are still leaving a hefty tip - and the waiter knows it. And this place is not cheap. When we pay 20% autogratuity (and then pay sales tax on that gratuity) the cost of dinner is easily $150 for two people. At that price we should be getting excellent service even if the waiter is not having his best day. Until Teak can make that happen we probably won't come back.
