Came for pick-up during COVID-19. I ordered Vegetarian Paella which the menu stated contained: Brussel sprouts, broccoli rabe, red cabbage, and cauliflower. I received a plate of rice with a few pieces of cauliflower, red cabbage, onions and regular broccoli. There might have been 3 pieces of each on the plate - no brussels sprouts, no broccoli rabe. I paid $21.00. I feel this was too expensive for the quality of food. My guests had the Lobster / Shrimp Enchiladas and Steak Frites. They liked the meals and had no complaints. read more

So I made a trip back and I must say, I was disappointed. My first trip there was great but this time no bueno. The ceviche was completely watered down and just not good, barely any seafood. The chips were stale and the empanadas were not good either. Also, my daughter wanted the kids chicken tacos but wanted to make sure the chicken was shredded so when I asked the waitress if they were she said that they were. Well, they weren't. This was my first time and I want to briefly share my positive experience! We just finished rehearsing after 9pm and were seeking a restaurant with great energy, attentive staff, good food & drinks. Again, it's after 9pm in Ridgefield! To our very pleasant surprise, we found Tequila Escape. We were immediately greeted by nice music and 2 friendly staff. We chose to sit right at the bar. I'm recommending you give this restaurant a try, Mondays & Tuesdays Sarah's at the bar. She's kind, very funny, and serves great drink. The food was good too. If you like dancing, they also have a live DJ every other Saturday. Dinner & Dancing in Ridgefield at a restaurant that stays open after 9pm! Give it a try. We came with another couple this past Friday and we were disappointed with the same service:( we really like the food here but we waited 20 minutes for our Greek waitress to come over ( she needs better training) to take just drink prefer-then 1 1/2 hours for dinner to be served. Margaritas were great but no apologies from waitress for the long wait and let our dinner plates sit on table For over 45 Minutes before they were removed. My wife and I had dinner here on Sunday and will definitely be returning. They had a nice selection of beers on tap and a wide variety of margaritas which she loved. Our server was so friendly and had some great recommendations. We shared the artichokes, steak skewers, and seafood paella; all fantastic. read more

Interesting Nicely appointed and definitely a tequila bar.... and that is where the confusion begins. The menu except for guacamole and quesadillas on the app menu is down the fairway American. Lobster Mac and cheese is as far as we got before the bar interloper Angel decided we were done for food and yanked away the menus. Gabe was waiting on us and Angel stepped in for no apparent reason. Had a very good dinner here last night. Was able to get a seat outside and the server and waiters were all incredibly nice and attentive going out of their way to entertain our 4 year old brining her a coloring and activity book. The kids Mac and cheese was top notch. Great jalepeno cucumber martini and the entrees we got - scallops and shrimp risotto were both very good as were the brussel sprouts. Will return to try other items on the menu. And they had equilibrium beer on tap! read more

We went into this bar during the Christmas Stroll and asked the bartender for a bloody mary and was told by him, with attitude...."I am not making a mix for 1 bloody mary", I told him I needed 2. Just had such a lovely dinner. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting, lots of outdoor dining space and socially distanced indoor seating. The Margaritas are delicious - especially La Verde. The mushroom tacos were divine. Adding to our enjoyment of the evening was the courteous, competent and attentive wait staff. Katrina was our server and she was a real Gem. She was thoughtful, attentive, courteous and professional. She was like a mind reader, the moment we thought we might like another round or more water, she would just seamlessly appear and provide whatever we needed at the moment, and yet she was never hovering over us. Came here for drinks a couple weeks ago. The owner/manager and staff were very nice and attentive. Came back again tonight with 6 others. The food was delicious. Each one of us had an awesome meal. Kudos to the chef(s)! The service was quick but not too fast. The owner/manager came around to ensure everything was going well. The desserts were amazing. I have been here quite a few times and the food and service is always great but I was there last Saturday and the place was packed. There is no way to social distance there because it is a small space and they are using up all the tables ( most places I go to are not) we asked to be seated outside at the heated tent and it was a little better but still not social distanced enough. The tent was warm at first but it became really cold after an hour. They tried fixing because everyone was complaining but they were not successful. All and all I love it here but I won't be back until late spring when I can sit outside comfortably. read more

Worst service I have ever experienced. Can't review the food because we didn't have any in the 1.5 hours we were there. Had to flag down waiter to get drinks. Then had to ask two times why entrees were taking so long. Nobody had the courtesy to tell us why everything was so delayed but just said they will check again and kept running past us.
