Great food and excellent service. They also have taco Tuesday deals. The price was great for the quality of food. Will return again!

In a town with a lot of Mexican restaurants, Mi Tierra Caliente stands out as one of the best. The food is authentic, tasty, reasonably priced and served promptly. The Chicken Mole was delicious. Extensive selection of well-made Tacos. The owners will customize any meal to make it just the way you want it. On a recent take-out order, the owner was engaging and humorous, offering a quick shot of tequila while I waited. This family run small business is doing it right. Can't wait to return for another delicious meal.

Stopped in to check out a new place in our neighborhood so far so good received service immediately chips and salsa and our drinks service is friendly. So far the ambience is very comfortable..... this place is gone through a few changes from when it was Luna's and the change that they have now are outstanding in my works. I definitely give them a 5 Thanks For The Read Until Next Time .....

Why was nobody here? Came for breakfast. Excellent service. The waiter was very nice. Great food. I had the huevos rancheros, my sone had the breakfast tacos. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The price was right too. Shocked the place wasn't packed. We will definitely be back.

The good reviews aren't lying! I kept seeing all these amazing reviews and thought it had to be too good to be true! I am here to say that the good reviews are accurate and I can't wait to go back! The only downside was that when my husband and I went, the only open seats were at the bar! The food was so good and the service was very friendly.

Truly excellent tacos, the coin marg was fresh and flavorful, and the service was attentive and kind. Very good. Can't believe I haven't noticed this place before! It's a small unassuming location but don't be fooled, this place is a hidden gem.

OMG! Love that this restaurant is conveniently located on 64th & Sheridan. Minus bullet holes in the windows, it feels like a cozy neighborhood spot. Great service. Few number of parking spaces out front. Came here with a friend and got a smothered carne asada burrito. SOOO freaking yummy, as was the Tierra Caliente Margarita (with spicy tamarind) that I need to get more of next time. Perfect meal I hope to have again soon!

Delicious breakfast tacos, pozole and huevos rancheros. Looking forward to eating here again. Friendly staff and authentic food.

This was my 3rd time at this place , used to be good, today service was horrible we noticed new faces and the food quality is not what it used to be , It's a shame that we had this bad experience at this place cause it's to close to our house food look Great but the chicken was super cold inside and the veggies were burnt I don't know if we are coming back. They also are offering a discount if you give them a 5 review...

Shrimp Ceviche was good, not great.

In one word, disappointing. We had arrived in Arvada earlier in the afternoon after traveling from Chicago. Dropped off our gear at our AirBnB and chose Mi Tierra Caliente taking a chance on the mixed reviews that had been written. This restaurant is in a part off Arvada that might be viewed a sketchy, particularly from Chicago standards. Particularly when the restaurant warns you with a sign in the window, "Park at your own risk." Aside from that concern, the staff is far from confident that they know how to run a restaurant. the place is not large, so the lack of attention to the restaurant guests is noticeable. In addition to them goofing around behind the hostess station and our waitress apparently still learning her role is the restaurant. Now for the meal. The salsa that was served in watery and runny. It tastes like something out of jar they purchased at King Soopers We began our meal with the Shrimp Ceviche which is served with tortilla chips. It's not bad as a starter as it's a good opening to refresh your palette. With this I ordered a jalepeño margarita while my son Petar had a pineapple margarita. They were both well made drinks and quenched our thirst. Next when they brought. out our entre it was delivered sloppily. We needed to ask for silverware and they paid little attention to if we needed another beverage. This impacts how well your tip is going to be at the end. I had the Carne Asada Michoacána while Petar ordered the Carne Asada Taco's. They were both average at best. Not flavorful and just meh. Then when the bill came I had a reality check. I get that running a restaurant is not an inexpensive endeavor these days. But it needs to be commensory with the quality of what is being served. All these things combined made it a less than memorable meal. I wish I could recommend this restaurant but the vibe and the meal didn't meet the expectation I had walking through the door. I wish we had a chance to visit when the former owners were operating this place and agree with many others who are really critical of what this Mexican restaurant is today. Sadly missing on many fronts and I hope they can turn it around going forward.

But at the same time, I also did not mind having all of the servers to ourselves. We just got done with the massage and I was craving something Mexican. When I sat down and started looking at the menu and saw that there were so many different classics to choose from as well as some twists on new flavors. I was pretty excited to try this place out. I was not crazy about the chips and salsa. The chips are really hard. And the salsa is extra spicy, which is completely unnecessary. So we just didn't eat much of that. Put her food didn't come out quickly and it was hunt and it was very good. I had to cheese enchiladas and I cleaned my plate. My date had a burrito. Smothered and it looked. Super yummy. It was really good. I was very surprised at how good it was and how it hit home. I'm used to eating Mexican food in Mexico and in Texas and this was fabulous. When we got the bill, I was surprised that how affordable our mail was for is what we got. I thought that this is definitely somewhere. I would want to visit again. This is classic. Easy, fun, good atmosphere, good music, good vibes. Good service.

Stopped in for Happy Time with my husband…read more Parking is always a challenge. We were able to find a spot two blocks away. We both ordered the tacos, shaggy style. That is a favorite. We also got an order of chips and salsa. I like that it comes with three different salsas. He got a house margarita, while I decided on the coin. Both were very tasty. The service was great. The space does get loud. There were two tables with kids who meandered about rather than sit with their family. One toddler decided his shirt was unnecessary despite the parents telling him to put it back on. It was hard to hear for conversation.

DAMN!!!! You know how "FLUFFY" says DAMN when he wants your attention on stage? (if you don't read…read morebelow****)!! The 5 Stars were a toss up for me, due to approximately "10" TV's, which I am not use to, BUT THIS IS A SPORTS BAR, Family Bar, DOG PATIO, BRONCO BAR! Cochino Taco DELIVERS!. First the DOG Patio!! Just review the photos, DOGS are Important and they have their own special Dish "Asada" the Dog Special. Cochino offers the "Ease of Free Parking Lot!" I have driven by many times, promising I would check it out 'someday'! TODAY WAS THAT DAY! Aspen and I spent 2 hours at the HUGE off leash dog park, as Aspen chasing 100's balls throughout the park - it's time to eat! Cochino Taco Time: The menus are GREAT!! Filled with readable and pronounceable Real True to Life Mexican FOOD!!! And Drinks, ALL DAY HAPPY HOUR EVERY DAY! Cochino is filled with Cheers & Laughter, from the Patio with Dogs wagging tails - through the bar, dining room, side room, this is a great FUN Place. ""Did I mention, Broncos' were playing on all 10 TV's this day!!!"" The Bar has 5 Full Screen Tv's! Along with a TV in the side lounge, with 4 more TV's in the dining area (larger room). The patio is filled with people and their Dogs!! Not sure if there was a TV there, but a cute sign about "Doggy Manners" as one approaches the fence to the patio. Cochino Taco is, A FUN PLACE! and DAMN!!!! GOOD FOOD!! MEXICAN STYLE!! Lots of Drinks, Frozen and regular bar with Draft! (Cochino Taco is a thoroughly thought out small successful restaurant). Now some might say Cochino Taco is not traditional mexican!!! Ahem!! Hmmmm!!! The only place I believe one might find "Traditional Mexican fare" is in Mexico, Maybe!!! All chefs make their own style!!! What I found here at Cochino Taco was; a thoroughly delicious complete menu, with delightful service from the moment I stepped in, to the moment we left with warm Smiles. A perfect blend, having people returning for the FOOD, bring their best friends, family and - our DOGS, for the sports, and FUN Meal!!!! Most speak of the ALL Day "Happy Hour" which is from 11AM to 6PM!!! DAMN!!!! (FLUFFY!! said it!) The food menu was plentiful, including veggie style with hot sauce on the side for us timid one's, (speaking of myself). Ordering veggie style Cotija Taco & El Guaco Tostada, Asking about a doggy dish, not spicy or too much food; Kalian chimed in: "Oh Yeah, we have the Asada, we serve "Asada" specially made for ALL dogs!" "The Dogs love the Asada and we make it dog size portions!" Cost: $3.00, DAMN!! Honestly I do not know which of us, Aspen or myself, cobbled our food faster! Aspen's Asada or my Cotija & Tostada. I wanted MORE!!!! My waitress Kalian, was attentive, "just enough allowance" to know when we needed something or what to suggest. It was so ""Fluffy DAMN" Good!! I also viewed the huge basket of chips with salsas passing through the rooms; the basket of Chips was gigantic with 3 salsas; checked the menu....$4.00 WOW!! Cochino Taco is very unpretentious and yet draws a crowd everyday! The food, the service, comfort, FOOD, SERVICE (!!!) And the nice prices!!! Plus, I guessed 10 (!!) TVs' creates a wonderful FUN - Cheering atmosphere!!!! Meet a friend or bring the family, BUT U MUST Bring Your DOG!! Enjoy the patio, don't forget to ask about the "Doggy Asada" plus all the drinks you can imagine and GREAT FOOD!! AT GREAT Prices! Now that final price for all this fun and yummy food, less than $20.00!! DAMN!!! Cochino Taco is right off Ralston Road on the south side, just a narrow bit before town, all wooden building with off street parking. ENJOY WITH YOUR BEST FRIENDS!! *****((((((Fluffy is Gabriel Jesús Iglesias, SUPER FUNNY COMEDIAN!!, watch any U-Tube or HBO or when he is in town, worth the tears and belly ache from laughing so hard; DAMN!!)))))
