I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately the experience fell short. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet the service was extremely slow--from getting drinks to waiting a long time just for chips and an appetizer. There were also multiple issues with our orders. I asked what kind of fish was in the tacos and was told cod, but it clearly wasn't. My husband ordered a steak burrito, but it came out without any steak--when we asked, we were told it looked like a completely different burrito instead. Another friend asked about a meat substitute before ordering and was told it wouldn't be a problem, only to find out much later, after a long wait, that it couldn't be done. To make things worse, the food arrived cold--nothing was hot or fresh, not even the fajitas that should have been sizzling. We ended up spending hours there mostly just waiting. The only bright spot was the drinks--when we finally got them, they were good. Overall, though, the service and food quality really need improvement. read more

The grilled octopus was amazing!! They have transformed from Tex Mex to Fusion including a whole page of Italian dishes like shrimp scampi, meatballs, and linguine and clams. What a crazy awesome find in a place like Fall River ! Such a stumbled on surprise when the place we wanted to go originally was closed due to COVID restrictions. SUCH a cute and vibrant atmosphere upon walking in! Multi level bar kind of breaks up the two spaces of dining areas. Looks deceptively small on the outside but the tall ceilings and good use of space make it much more inviting. The service was perfect - very attentive and food all. Are out ultra fast. Lots of sort of different items like fried avocado but all the regular Mexican staples as well. Great list of different styles of burritos and the drink menu was more than some margaritas- though I had one haha. It was not too strong but almost weak but well made with the fresh squeezed lime versus mix. I had the green monster tortilla bowl with some chicken and he had the pulled jalapeños pork quesadilla and we shared some fried avocado. I'll say this now - if you haven't already indulged on some this would be a great place to try it. Good portion, not heavily spiced and comes with delicious chipotle dipping sauce. Our server was lovely and prompt and we left with the key lime pie and though it was delicious we wish we tried the churros instead. Out of a whim had a fantastic luninner (lunch dinner). Mexican restaurants are popping up in the fall river area---I have tried a few and some how leave feeling one step up from taco bell. My lunniner at Tequila Lime felt like I was eating at my fav spot in cancun! What just happened? Nacho chips authentic. I had the steak fajita--- literally bursting with flavor. Let's just say all my guest were happy I didn't lick the fajita pan as I contemplated. BUT I was very uncomfortable with what must've been the manager or something sitting in the corner blaring stuff on her phone, darker hair spray tan and too much makeup. Came here unplanned and when we entered we were seated right away... the service started off good, but slowed down as the night went, which I was disappointed about because the place didn't have many people in it, but at least the food was good and also the portion sizes. I got steak nachos and a side taco. The nachos are extremely filling, fresh and this establishment is great with accommodating for someone with food allergies. The nachos are so big I always end up having to eat the leftovers the next and and let me tell you even soggy it is delicious. I have never even thought of eating nachos reheated before this place. Came here on a whim due to the Japanese habachi place taking FOREVER to seat and us and take our order. Oddly enough when we arrived another older couple was walking out complaining of the same reason we left the previous place for so we were a little weary. I ordered Carne asada as my entrée. I ask for medium rare and I got well done overcooked rib eye steak. We looked over the menu to see what we wanted including a Margretta so we asked the waitress if there was one we could because we hadn't Had one in a while. (Vegan review) I have been to Tequila Lime a couple of times. First of, I would like to say the service as been nothing but great every time I went. I want to give this place 4 stars instead of 3 but the food just isn't that great if you're vegan. The black beans are vegan.....and unseasoned. The wraps tortilla wasn't great tasting and the ingredients I said were kind of 'meh'. First of all, this place is wicked local. That's not a dig. Very comfortable and quirky. If you leave here hungry it's your own damn fault. The food is outstanding. Period. Portion size is fantastic. We checked out Tequila Lime Cantina in Fall River last night and loved it! Definitely a spot to check out. This restaurant is located in downtown Fall River and is a true hidden gem. The Mrs. started off with the homemade white sangria and I had the Rogue Dead Guy Ale. Handmade salsa and chips were our appetizer but were not complementary, as they are at most restaurants. Only complaint we had about the place. I had a burrito complete with grilled chicken, black beans, rice, avocado, field greens and salsa. The burrito was fresh and was more than I could eat. BA had the tostada salad that had chicken added and was loaded with fresh vegetables, salsa, cheese and sour cream. The menu had a nice selection of options including vegetarian options, appetizers, burritos, tacos and more. The bar has a good selection of mixed drinks, beers, wine and sangria. We opted to sit at the bar to be able to watch the Patriots game and the bartender was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend checking this place out. read more
