Some restaurants serve great brunch. Pier 52 serves an experience. We've been here before and have never been disappointed, but this visit stood out because of our bartender, Sheldon. He was knowledgeable, genuinely welcoming, funny, charming, and quick-witted. He made excellent recommendations, shared a little local Portuguese history, and by the end of brunch our group had an inside joke that had the whole outdoor bar laughing. That's the kind of service you don't forget. The food was exceptional. Every special request was perfect--even the extra crispy bacon. The corned beef hash and eggs, crab Benedict, and hash brown waffles were all beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The cocktails were just as impressive. Each one was perfectly balanced and consistent. Do yourself a favor and try at least two from the cocktail menu. Add in the outdoor waterfront seating with boats and jet skis passing by, and it's one of the best brunch spots around. We've always loved Pier 52, but Sheldon took an already great restaurant and made it unforgettable. We'll definitely be back--and hopefully grabbing seats at his bar again. read more

Booked a res on the fly at Pier 52 for Sunday brunch and I'm more than happy I did. For my drink, the Soleil 75. A refreshing twist on the French 75, with gin, passion fruit and prosecco. The main event was the corned beef hash. This gal and her hash. It's a love affair! Anytime you can deliver salty and savory to perfection, count me in. Hot goss to know before you go: Pier 52 is a destination. Be prepared to linger for the cocktails, music, and the sea breeze long after the food is served. Wow this place is amazing. Located right next to the Tipsy Seagull I came here for a girl dinner yesterday. It was pretty crowded when we arrived so we decided to sit out on the lawn and look out on the water. The ambiance was amazing considering we could watch the boats go by and hang out. The food was excellent we ordered a couple of appetizers the focaccia bread and the whipped butter, a delicious charcuterie board and crispy zucchini chips. We also paired it with Diet Coke which you can never go wrong with. A great experience can't wait to go back. read more

The food, 8/10, the service, 9/10, the view, 10/10, the ambience, 0/10. The music was so OBNOXIOUSLY loud, conversation was impossible. The servers were miserable, having to repeat themselves to each customer. You couldn't hear the person directly across from you and our throats were all sore from screaming by the end of the meal. Love good ole pier 52. Went on opening day. Wasn't too busy thankfully, so was able to get a seat at the Adirondack chairs with 2 more people. Took a look over the menu, little expensive for what it is, but you are by the water. The drinks are always great, but should show the pricing! Two mixed drinks and a Diet Coke was about 40ish bucks little expensive for Fall River, but again the water. Place is always cute. Be aware of confusion and miscommunication amount staff. My most recent trip I ordered the chowder which is usually the best in the city but it was cold , was sent back. Their reply was "this is the 5th one sent back" - why do you continue to serve it then? Went for sushi , manager tells staff to "68" it . Was told they ran out. Was disappointed but night was still young! Ordered the zucchini chips which were flavorless , luckily the tzatziki saved them, for 19$ I expected more flavor. As we finish , the bartender tells us "hey sushi's back on" " they were just backed up" - Great , real great - if you had said that we'd of waited to order..... no apology or comped anything lol not even the chowder... Beautiful atmosphere & great drinks! Expensive but drinks are top notch. Moving forward I'd have to reconsider bringing friends etc here. 2 stars for atmosphere , 1 star for the drinks. This is a great upscale restaurant on the water that I went to for a friends birthday brunch! The food and service were great. My only complaint is that we had made a reservation but we were sat outside at a table with a small umbrella rather than in the big tent. No one's fault in particular but the sun was brutual. It seemed like the whole group was satisfied with their food! I ordered the avocado toast and was able to swap out the hard boiled eggs for over hard. The bread was thick making it hard to eat but I loved the texture and taste. I added bacon but it was very thin and not crispy enough. I regret not ordering a side of potatoes, as those looked amazing. I want to come back next summer and try their cocktails. They had a nice lawn with adirondack chairs overlooking the water. My husband and I sat at the bar : First the bartender couldn't hear our order because the music was quite loud. Then our food was delivered, mine was cold, not once after delivery did anyone check to see if we needed anything, like salt or possibly another drink since both our glasses were empty. Once we pushed our plates aside the bar back asked if I wanted a box, I said no but you can take my plate. Which he didn't, he proceeded to leave our check and leave the dirty dishes. My husband and I dine out 4-5 times a week and always sit at the bar. Over all this was the worse service we have experienced in a long time. We put the card in the folder to pay and it sat for over 10 minutes, when we finally asked the bartender to take it he was clearly bothered and said oh i thought she took care of it. I have been at bars much larger than this and received much better service. It is a beautiful venue but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Was looking for a spot before heading to Narrows Center for a show and this place came up - it was close by and had a decent menu to choose from - easy reservations via the website and plenty of lot parking. I can see people wanting to come here for outdoor dining since it's right by the water. The restaurant itself is inside a large tent with tables inside, outside and a decent size bar (bathrooms are outside before you enter). Because it's inside a large tent, noise suppression is nonexistent, so it can get quite loud. This is my take - it wants to exude a Newport Beach Club but it didn't quite hit the mark. The food was just ok, nothing special about it. Sushi was subpar - (menu said spicy kewpie mayo but it tasted like plain ole mayo), my salmon dish was just meh - salmon was a bit under seasoned and the mister didn't care much for his fish tacos at all but like a trooper, he finishes his meal anyway. The best part of our meal was the dessert - it was a limoncello cake of some sort and our waitress was very sweet and attentive. We found it strange that our sushi and entrees all came out at the same time - which was fine but just strange as we thought the sushi would've been treated as an appetizer. Also, we were told that they only take credit card for the bill but that the tip can be made with card or cash - whatever works, I suppose. Waterfront!! Beautiful!! Music was R&B 80's 90's.... Loved the bridge view, boats, breeze!!! Menu is very heavy, greasy .... Lots of fried food on the menu!!! We ordered the Tuna poke , the tuna could be more sushi grade and the THREE huge rice cakes are not needed , maybe a light coconut rice would be a better addition.... We also ordered the calamari with chorizo and pepper rings with marinara sauce on the side, the calamari was good , crispy, both rings and tentacles but literally 6 tiny pieces of chorizo - if your going to put chorizo on the menu in a dish then put it in the dish!! Very disappointed in-the amount, we also ordered littlenecks and shrimp cocktail- how can you mess that up?? Clams had so many shells so who ever shucked them needs better training ( I absolutely hate when I find shells in my shucked clams/ oysters ( I get that it happens) but every clam had some small and large pieces. The shrimp on the menu said U12 - I asked for 2 and received three, my guess was because they were so small not hearty and meaty. We stopped in for a cocktail after dinner at the Tipsy Toboggan. Adirondacks face the water and the sunset on the turf. Bartenders were great, view is really as good as it gets around here. Really nice spot on the water in Fall River, the view is perfect. We were sat right away in the Adirondack chairs, got the oysters they were buck a shuck, they were not shucked the best though, but were fresh, hence the 4 stars. The octopus was perfect tender and flavorful, the Burrata was delicious, it was served with a variety of beets and really complemented the dish, there was live music, which I think they have every night. Took a ride on the motorcycle and remembered a friend had mentioned that this place was now open. It's so great to see the waterfront in Fall River being utilized as it should now instead of being in a state of disrepair. I had a drink along with some sushi at the outside waterfront bar. A random Father's Day find and boy was it amazing. Everything was FRESH! The seating is literally right on the water. There is a rope that separates you and the rocks water. Even the simple things were delicious and fresh. The calamari and focaccia bread apps started the meal off right followed by the amazing entrees. There were no leftovers after this meal!! We started off with Crab Rangoon nachos that had little to no crab on it. Out of 5 entrées 4 people complained about some thing. My sandwich, however was really good.
