I was raised off Angela Mia pizza I lived right across the street. I order the same pizza every week and I drive all the way from Parma to get it. For the last month the pizza has been wrong completely I order light sauce as the sauce is so salty now extra cheese all meat pizza light cook double cut. As of late the pizza is well done no extra cheese not double cut. Everytime they say bring it back this time I was still there. And it was burned not done to my specifications. Never have I had such a botched pizza order. I used GrubHub and ordered a deep dish two topping pizza with anchovies, onions, and added bacon for an extra $1.50. It was $19 but with the delivery fees and tip totaled over 30 bucks! Still, we were very excited at the thought of having a delicious deep dish pizza here in Cleveland and so 30 bucks wasn't amazingly hard to part with for the deep dish experience. It took over an hour to arrive which I expected for a deep dish. I opened the box. It was a large regular crust cheese pizza with some flecks of bacon near the distal edges and honest to God two or three tiny squares of white onion under the cheese per slice (yes, I dissected it). There were zero anchovies. It was not only NOT a deep dish pizza, it was barely a passable regular pizza especially for 19 bucks! I called the place. The lady who answered said they don't even sell deep dish and transferred me to a manager who said they don't even use GrubHub (only DoorDash). I said that is interesting as I have a box with your business name on it and a receipt here from GrubHub. To Angela Mia Pizza: Please let GrubHub know you don't serve what I ordered and please call and cancel to refund the order for poor patrons like me when something like this happens instead of just sending me a half-ass random pizza my cat won't even touch instead. read more

Whenever I'm in Cleveland Ohio it's a must to stop by Angela Mia to get some pizza. I even take an entire pizza back with me in the plane. Now that being said, it's take out only, the lobby is very small but the taste of the pizza is grand. We usually order three or four pizzas to have for the next day but they usually don't make it through the night. If I were you I would call it in and pick it up otherwise you will have to wait in the lobby and while that's not too bad of a thing you will certainly be upset as you smell all of that deliciousness coming from the kitchen. Each ingredient came through in a surprisingly refreshing way as well so by getting their deluxe pizza, it was like a pizza flavor explosion. I will definitely go back. This place is an E.C. staple. I loved it as a boy and someone had a pizza on Xmas eve and I had a slice. I decided to order for the fam and me. I took away one star because they got toppings on one of the pizzas wrong and the cut on the small pizza was terrible. Had I not been busy being such a fatty, I would have taken a picture. Even though the toppings were wrong, the pizza was still fantastic. Better than I remember. I got some buffalo wings. They weren't exactly crispy but they were good. The buffalo sauce was really good. It wasn't a perfect experience but it happens. I'll definitely make another visit. Service was great too! Pro tip: If you get a dessert from there, skip the sweet potato pie. With one bite, you can tell it's made with oil rather than butter. After traveling all the way from the west side, i arrived at the door at 12:01, one minute after they closed. The door was locked so i called, and then i saw an employee in the back. They would rather throw my food out (or take it home for themselves to eat) as opposed to accepting my money one minute after close? I'm not sure how to write this review without sounding like I either work for the place or own it. This is hands down my favorite pizza. I've been eating it for 27 years and it hasn't slipped in quality. I've never had a bad experience here. Thick crust pizza? Check Regular crust? Check Pasta? Check Lasagna? Double check Hot sub? Check, Cold sub? Check They keep expanding their menu to include more and more diverse dishes and normally this would spell doom for a restaurant. Too many dishes is usually a sign of lean times but the place has never been busier. The sauce is perfect, the portions are ridiculous and the family meal packs will feed an army - AND THEY'RE REALLY AFFORDABLE. Warning: The food is great but if you want it fast - go to mcdonalds. If you want to be coddled or pampered - go to Pier W. But if you want some banging food at a fair price (not cheap but fair) go to Angela Mia. Angela Mia has been at that same location for as long as I can remember and the pizza never seems to change. I grew up eating the great taste of their zesty sauce and pepperoni, and loads of cheese and fresh veggies on a always perfect crust. Not too thick, not too thin, not too hard and not too soft, just perfect. I no longer live in Cleveland, but I keep Angela-Mia Pizza's address and phone number in my phonebook, even though I know it by heart. Every visit home is a visit to Angela-Mia's.
